Shame I wish Luca Bright be final boss when he lost gone insanely madness sacrifice himself by his Beast Rune make he can transform a bigger wolf looking scary. But nooo he killed by arrows and lost duel to hero in forest and Leon bleeding rune itself into wolf final boss was a okay.
Little late here, but if my memory serves you deal about 2000hp with Flik, another 2000 with Victor, and about 1500 with Riou. If Flik or Victor dont deal enough damage within a set amount of turns then Luca has more health to deal with when Riou fights him, so roughly 6500 which is insane
Never played this game, barely heard about Luca, this was the only thing I’ve seen about him besides a meme about how tanky he is. But that scene where he’s just looking at fireflies fly around saying it’s stupid, but he can’t help but get distracted and stare at them was really trippy and kind of wholesome out of context. Not sure if it ties to his past or to the story but now I wanna play this game
The fireflies is another trap form his own brother in law ( Jowi Blight ) when he become king after luca death, its a political act because Jowi is the Main character best friend, You should try to play this masterpiece bro, trust me
Before all this there is a child named Pilika that want to gift his father a wooden amulet things happened and Luca destroyed that village genocide its people (That's how brutal this game was) Ironically later the wooden amulet was used as a distraction that lead to his demised.
Whenever I see Luca Blight back story, all I can see is sympathy because of his childhood traumas make him this cruel. And I think Luca resembles Lu Bu a lot I think, hard to kill haha
Brought here as the memes for the S1+S2 Remaster kick back up as the release date was announced again. Two things. 1) I am going to miss the glitched out effects of Pale Palace. 2) The input error of Luc casting Storm Warning instead of The Shredding feels great and 100% in character.
Aside from being able to customize auto battles. Suikoden did everything better. Better unites, better rune combos, better item capacity, even better character models imo.
@@anthonyg1307 nah item, equipment, and many QoL is still better in Eiyuden. But i agree the rune animation, need FP, lack of story about rune lense, and there isnt villain as intense aa Luca is what eiyuden lacking. As best as i can compare it, its close to Suikoden 1 or 4.
I'm playing through it rn and really wish there was more meat (stakes) to the story. I am still enjoying it and the characters, it scratches the Suikoden itch, so I hope they get to make a sequel where they improve on things like how Octopath 2 did.

Even so, what about his "normal" attack? Like I didn't really have much trouble with the fight overall but even his regular hit was close to 60x3 for my best party. And I don't think I was that underlevelled either.
That's just the effects of grinding, when I was younger and didn't play properly, Luca was nightmare to beat as he literally one or two shotted my party. When I played it again once I'm older, the fight was a breeze. The preparation wasn't however, I think it also take as much efforts as the fight itself 😂
@@felipenascimento83 If you get the fire-sealing during that one single opportunity when you're scouting the Highland camp with Jowy, then 2 of Luca's 3 attacks do zero damage to the one wearing it (always my protagonist). And with the best armor and Clay Guardian, Luca's triple slash usually does ~24 damage total. Total pushover at that point lol

When i did this as a teen it feelt like an hour of survival Battle. In this video it looks like a breeze.
Logically this is the hardest battle compared to the last boss. 3 teams fight againts luca and he still standing until the last one 🤣

Honestly rhis whole rune capacity system is much better than the current Eiyuden MP system.

My memory is a bit foggy because it's been a long while but I definitely do not recall Luca only dealing 20-50 per hit when I played. ~_~

Better equip helps... Also worth noting knights equip heavy armor. Maybe u need a better understanding of the game.
