The answer is yes. Ps5 here…i’m playing with UHD Resolution at 120fps. Smooth as butter 😋 ..even with High Sensitivity Controller Settings 👍

Does kbm work on ps5?
So you'll need friends to play this game then.... not gonna be on my to-buy list. I work full-time my buddies are full time employed aswell and even in the weekend it's not gonna be possible.
I would love it if it was single player or something.
You can easily play this game solo if you please, I suggest a sloop if you want to do so. There's a campaign mode, a safer seas mode with just your crew and pve (less dangers but with a side of less rewards), and the regular mode with a max of 6 ships of 1-4 players (depending on the ship) and ofc the pvp/pve that comes with the mode.

@-never-gonna-give-you-up- the base game is 30% off atm on the PS store if that's of any news? I will say, however, that the game has its issues such as any other game but of course, 'specially given it's in its fair stages of this platform's release, that's to be expected. Still a playable game though, and, in my opinion, its current price is a bargain. Anyways, happy to help! ^^
@NlGHT550 yeah I've heard some things about it, but it's alright, i find it important that the devs put actual effort in making such games and that's what i care about the most :)

It’s pretty rapey playing solo I’m not even gonna lie to you boss man, pretty much next to impossible unless you’re like ridiculous at the game but seeing as I’m assuming you’re brand new that’s likely not going to be the case for you but you can join open crews of random players
I play mostly solo and it's hard 😂
Buut it's the best way to learn how to play and defend yourself properly.

Easy to make friends with lfg posts or even open crew where you're paired with strangers. Make sure you have a mic tho, makes it easier to make friends.

I have 3k hours on sot, most of them being solo. It is a hard but exciting life, but it is definitely doable. I've gone from running like a mouse to sinking bigger ships in 1v4: don't give up, rack up experience and enjoy the seas!
My fucking game keeps on disconnecting 😑 I have a stable internet connection but yeah can’t even play 15 min without disconnecting

Anyone else getting a “Not signed in to sea of thieves. Please sign in and try again.” (Ashbeard) screen when trying to link Microsoft accounts to PS5? Genuinely don’t understand how it can tell me it’s failing cus I’m not signed into PS5 on the game when that’s what I’m trying to do
My brother had the same problem go into your settings somewhere in storage or data and delete the sea of thieves data. when you go back in you’ll be prompted to log in again and lost no progress
Settings > Save Data and Game/App settings > Saved Data (PS5) > Delete Sea of Thieves data
@@levmccor54 I did that multiple times but got the same issue still consistently actually have like no solution to this fucking issue

See a thieves in my opinion is the best multiplayer Pirate game out. My biggest complaint is I wish the graphics were more realistic.
This is Awesome PS5 gets SOT but it would be nice to have 1 r 2 PS Exclusives on XBOX

I didn’t like it on Xbox that was about a year ago , I barley played it 5-10 mins the walking and attack felt so chunky , I bought on ps5 to give it another chance I really hope I can get into it.
You really have to give this one a respectable chance.

It's fun in bursts on Xbox, but ironically as shallow as a pool so gets repetitive and boring pretty quick, it's a 7, no way a 9!

You can't do pirate legend voyages though until you rank up those factions. So there is a little bit of a level difference between consoles. Xbox/PC players can earn more loot because of this. Give it a couple months and a lot of people will be pirate legend on ps5.
Kinda sad it gave me motion sickness when playing it in PC. Anyone been experiencing it on PS5 also? I wish I could give it a try on console with my buddies but I don't want to waste the money if it also gets me sick lol 😂
This idea that the real progression reward is the cosmetics is an odd thing to applaud considering it's in first person perspective... who gives a shit if you can't see it.
Looks fun for a couple of hours but I'll be passing. Not enough content there to keep me occupied and the combat looks extremely rough.

I just got it! I figured it out by myself but reading map probably hardest part. If u have time with that you won’t like game. I actually like game. I also found one of the rarest chests. But I didn’t go to outpost cause I was getting more loot. My ship was sunk loot was gone.🤣 a slip and fall and I played a duo and I found same chest slipped off the boat and teammate left. So keep chest you find super close! 10/10

No its not worth it. The game is absolutely broken and the devs dont seem to have an idea on how to fix it.
@ConnorGaughan-do9hg bugs that have been here since like s6 have no timeline on being fixed, ladder launching is a good example of that. The game performs very poorly and just crashes alot. Can't buy supplies from the merchants so you'd have to switch servers until it works. Honestly it feels like I'm back in 2015 playing ark survival again. Game feels as broken as 2015 ark.

SoT doesn't respect the busy customers time. If you only have a short window to game each night, avoid this game.
Griefers, poor anti-cheat protection, waste you and your friends time. You guys go get treasure, do missions, only to have all the time you spent wasted by some asshole.

Getting sunk and losing your treasure isnt greifing, its literally part of the game. A pure game mechanic. Its what puts the risk into the game. The loot you collect is NOT YOURS until you have sold it at an outpost. The point of the game is to collect treasure at the risk of having it taken. Theres and entire faction in the game called Reapers Bones where that is literally the entire reason and requrement for achievements is to STEAL OTHER PEOPLES LOOT.
If youre scared you can always go to Safer Seas, the weenie hut junior gamemode in Sea of Thieves.
Well if you’re so worried about about other players being Pirates in a pirate game, then you can play safer seas the game private mode where it’s just you

If you die in a Souls, you lose your souls and have to retrieve them. It's similar, it's called risk-reward.
I know that he's paid to say this game is good, but playing an objectiveless game doesn't sound fun. There's a reason this game's lobbies were empty on Xbox. Xbox has to multiplat these games because these games has not generated any money. Vast as the install base is for PS5, I bet only a few will purchase this game. SoT is really a bad game. And yes I bought it on xbox when they were letting gamepass subs have free downloads.

The objective is to just have fun and be a pirate, it’s sad that the gaming community has devolved into a state where people have to have a reason to have fun, and no one paying him to say the game is good it’s just an objectively good game
