SpeedyBee F405 Mini 35A Flight Stack Review - the Cheapest, Full Featured Wireless Flight Stack

- Using an upgraded F405 flight controller chip with better performance than the F411, the new SpeedyBee F405 Mini features a built-in Bluetooth chip for seamless wireless Betaflight tuning. The board comes with a 4-level battery voltage display, built-in barometer, and supports connectivity to all DJI Air Units. It offers 4 available UART ports, and a dual BEC setup with 5V 2A and 9V 3A outputs.
35A 4-in-1 BLHeliS Mini ESC: This ESC provides four synchronized outputs with a continuous current of 35A, delivering strong power to drive all 2-4 inch and lightweight 5-inch quadcopters via 4-6S battery. Equipped with a TVS transient suppression diode onboard, it better absorbs surge voltage, providing enhanced protection for the ESC.

I have the F405 v3 on all my quads now and they're just perfect! I bought another stack as a spare for $60 and all 3 stacks came in just over the cost of a high end f722 board and replacement FC (for example).

Love the features and have this same stack coming in the mail here today. The Bluetooth if very appealing for a cinewhoop that has no access to the fc without taking it apart!

I've had really good luck with all my speedybee stuff...
they had that v2 blheli dshot 32.8 issue.... but that was pretty random issue...
I have a few 3.5" builds planned and will put on of these in the cart... some nice weight savings from 30mm... like 10g?
Is this for racers? actually this sounds perfect for a fleet of racers...
can be very compact and not worry about usb access...

You've got some exciting plans with those 3.5" builds, and I totally agree - the weight savings from 30mm can make a noticeable difference. As for whether this is for racers, you've hit the nail on the head! The compact size and hassle-free USB access definitely make it a great fit for a fleet of racers. Even if racing isn't your thing, it's fantastic to see how well this little gem can streamline changes across multiple quads. Thanks for sharing your insights - they're super helpful.

is there any documentation available for fixed wing configuration on speedybee F405 v3.
This isn't really for fixed wing, but I totally recommend the F405 Wing. It's also great and very cheap. Check out my review ruclips.net/video/tfy1wmsE6qA/видео.html
@@WhirlyBloke I really appropriate your response in this. Actually in my country wing version is not available, and in the F405 documentation they mentioned it can also used for fixed wing. But couldn't find any proper guide on this.
@@rajanyt7343 That's a shame you can't get it. The F405 Wing is excellent. This is all I can find on the F405 Mini, but there is no specific wing info. That tantallum cap is there because that gyro needs clean power

@martinbeavers1742 Thank you for your comment! I appreciate your support and am glad you enjoyed the video. The SPEEDYBEEF405MINI target is available for BF 4.4.2 now and I believe the INAV target is being worked on now. I suspect it will be ready very soon.

@@WhirlyBloke Sir, while being 76, I am still a newbie. Trying to avoid federal folks enforcing arbitrary regulation, I wish to build 250 gram quads for myself and grandchildren.. INAV seems to have features that lend themselves to my reduced hand eye coordination. I would suggest a build of medium range quad using INAV with as much detail in settings that you can tolerate detailing. Enjoin your weekend.

@JerickMadonza It flies very well on my Diatone 4" LR, why dont you try it and write a review instead of whining on all the review channels for this product, I guess thats beyond your capabilities.
