- With Level 4 lockdown in NZ... hunting with the dogs now mean Pace beating up the rocking horse. Tahr or deer stalking is replaced with the occasional bunny getting 'Shot For The Pot. In this video, the 22 bags a nice buck rabbit in prime winter condition and a whole suckling pig is taken out of the freezer and spatchcocked wide open and its skin is Dimond scored & salted. Served with fresh greens from the garden with heaps of butter makes for a good feed.

When I used to install appliances my best advice to my customers was not in the user manual and that is always rinse the dishes first ( it's a dishwasher not a waste disposal) , I do know people that wash before going into the machine, so the dishwasher acts as a sterilizer only.
Also white vinegar is the most universal substance anyone can have in the house it can be used as rinse aid but my advice is put about half a cup in an empty dishwasher every 4 to six weeks and run a full cycle.

Use Dishwashing Pellets and A Rinse Aid to leave everything clean and fresh smelling. Tank water is better also!!
Awesome mate. Welcome to the 20th century mate and I asked the wife about the dishwasher make sure you put it on full wash because at the end of the cycle it would normally rinse of. good idea, also you could maybe do a DIY dishwasher tablet hack and put baking soda in an icecube tray, and freeze them. Cleans and leaves no smell

With the dishwasher if it's brand new might take a couple of washes to wear it in but the tablets work best

What an awesome fucking dog. I saw my cousins yellow lab catch a rabbit when I was a kid and he ate the entire thing and I thought it was the wildest thing I'd ever seen. Dogs are such awesome pets.
I might play around with my German ES350B Mauser circa 1936. But I would have to play with musical scopes as it's got a target 10x on top. Better with the 1-8 variable scope I think.
Here in North Alberta, the forest is thick. Mostly 28 and 20 gsuge shotguns. Here certain times of year black bears are a concern. Sometimes wolf packs shadowing us.

@@ClayTallStories it almost sounds worse than it is because it's split up. In winter when bears are in hibernation it's the wolf packs that sometimes shadow any hunter. In the spring the bears are out and hungry so possibly a safety concern. I stopped rabbit hunting alone with 22 rifle because on returning on foot to my truck, there would be a bear looking to see the source all the rabbit blood. That's when I switched to shotgun when hunting alone.

Hey Clay don’t knock the soul mate thing I’ve been married for 35yrs to a woman who has looked after my 4 kids while I was hunting an fishing sometimes 3 or 4 nights a wk.
My other soulmate is my hunting mate who I have been with thru 2 “incurable” brain tumour ops with who is now still with me 20yrs after his diagnosis. I would do anything for either of them in a heartbeat an they I’m sure would do the same for me an I know I’m blessed so keep the faith bro👍

Looks like the stream has opened up and maybe it’s been washed down , to much nitrogen could do it as well , look at ya past vids and it was a trickle in that stream now it looks faster and deeper .?
Agree it would take alot of nitrogen to take out watercress but is possable is most likely water flow and death easy to fix just dig out bank and widen stream is certain places will grow back next season if seed nerby
