    Excellent video. I do appreciate the clear way you show how to butcher in general. Some channels set up a tripod, and give you one view from a distance, where you miss important details. I always pick up a tip or two from your efforts. And then you get to enjoy the company of a gal that helps around the garden. All smiles here. Thanks, Clay.

    Best yet Clay. Loved the harp in the beginning. I'm an old Aussie with 2 Degrees and a Masters. I still shoot pistols and rifles but don't hunt or fish or crab anymore. I've still got the gear and could teach kids in a pinch. I honestly hope it doesn't come to that they'd want me pick up their towels off the bathroom floor.

    I always wondered about a few things about hunting.
    How much time has someone at hand for gutting the animal (from the moment it dropped)?
    And for the cutting part; can someone do this in summer as well? What if there are many flies in a certain area?
    How much time is left for the cut parts till a freezer is absolutely needed?

    DUMB QUESTION:
    Why don't the animals bleed a lot when skinning and cutting them up?
    Are they bled out first?
    (I know next to nothing about hunting and preparing game)

    • @ClayTallStories
      @ClayTallStories  8 месяцев назад

      Thats a fair question. The throat is cut directly after killing releasing some of the blood and then the rest is drained when we hang the meat. A fair portion of blood is also in the internal organs.
