Legends was Mega Man's first real foray into the realm of 3D gaming, taking a new spin on the classic jump & Shoot formula. Due to it's aging controls, visuals and poor sales, the Legends spinoff series fell into a domain of somewhat obscurity. Is it warranted?

the animations are so good wtf, looks more like a stylized modern game than a ps1 era game
Definitely looks like it has some real effort put into it if you compare other PS1 games. The facial animations looks far better than its peers
Question :it has the animations in the n 64?

Stylized graphics, done with care, age way better than realistic graphics from the same era. The latter is limited by technology and defined by how close it can get, the former is defined by how appealing it looks as an end product.

i remember reading a somewhere that bon full name was stupier due to the bonne family being nobles, Bon Von Bonne
i actually like that better somehow. like i get what they're doing there whereas the Bonnes seems like a clunky translation thing.

I'm genuinely sad that the video ended! I can tell there was real attention and effort put into this video, and I felt engaged to watch more. Personally I don't know much of the megaman universe since It wasn't my style, but would totally play this one today! Looks like I'll have to play it for the tease you gave in that there's more to the story with the side quests. :D

i went and played this game a couple years back to finnaly get what the game i was hella young for when i first played it a shot. like i had trouble with the first tron fight as a kid, well my recent playthrough was a first try. the game is rather well constructed in regardes to how you explore it, to the point i even remember a little bit of the layout of the ruins still. there are some side quests i apparintly didnt know exist so i guess ill look into that later...and also get around to playing 2
I LOVED THIS GAME WHILE GROWING UP. It did had some drawbacks but honestly it is a great game

I like your Sense of Humour. Having just watched this now for the first time I realized that you make a lot of the same jokes in this video as I do when I speedrun it. example "second Verse same as the first" talking about Lake Jyun. or Calling the Support Car the Winnebego. also I always refer to the Grenade Schematic chest as Grandpa's "vietnam war flashback chest"

I like these older gameplays more than warframe content tbh. Its something you enjoy and obviously care about enough to make a 30 min vid about it.

This series, these games. Man, they are hidden gems and are massively underrated. Similar to Klonoa, these need a remake and brought to the modern age.
Give both Legends 1 and 2 a clean makeover, update and fine tune the controls (Ratchet and Clank would be a great gameplay example), and update that voice acting, and we are more than good! 😁👍

One of my favorite games. I spent a lot of time on this one.
There is a point in the game where if you return to the ship instead of doing whatever objective, megaman will walk in on Roll naked. You obviously don't see anything and she yells at him, he walks out and does an arm pump like its a victory or something.
You can steal the money instead of returning it. If you do, your armor turns black. Err like really dark blue. Not like shadow megaman or something.

Megaman X7 is probably what people think about when they hate on Megaman 3D.
This game is awesome aside from the lack of being able to customize on the fly and the lock-on/no strafe sucks. Your review is freaking hilarious as it is awesome. 👌🏼

Rockman DASH, a series that takes place in the year of 81XX in a time where Dr. Right, Dr. Wiley and Sigma are long forgotten and a new Rockman ready to dig for treasure, steal your girl and wreck bad guys shit, oh and also save the world from a mass level extinction event Evangelion style.
Wow, just started replaying this game a couple weeks ago. I had a blast with it as a kid and I think the art style aged pretty well. Controls are kind of clunky at times though.

megaman legends and the OG brave fencer musashi (not the horrendous remake) were amazing games of their time that were truly fucking fun adorable and really just were products of when games were good

Also, use the duckstation emulator if you can, and enable pgxp. It fixes the visuals, like line warping and texture warping, game looks really good. I can see you screen capture is using an older emu I think, with the white lines inbetween textures,warping, etc. It can be kinda hard to find. but its on github. Enable pgxp but disable depth buffer, causes issues.
Ive never seen my favorite child good game look this good. Like its crystal clear.
Already fixed it up with another gpu plug in after recording for part 2 but ty for the heads up.
Tried getting it running on actual hardware but older systems are a nightmare to finagle with. Until o get a ps3 for the psn ports, this what I got.
