- Curry Hammock State Park is about 2 hours south of Miami and an hour from Key West in Marathon Florida within the Florida Keys. Curry Hammock has its own beach and wonderful kayaking! There are 28 campsites with many having Ocean views, we liked sites 7 & 15 the best! For those living the RV life, its a must do as it is RV living at it's best! Also, checkout Sombrero Beach right on Marathon, it is one of the prettiest beaches in all of the Florida Keys!

Yes but worth planning way ahead. Wandering labs seems to help with Bahia Honda, maybe here to for booking.

This place looks beautiful! If it was that tranquil last year I can't imagine how much more now with less people traveling. Definitely want to hit up Island Fish Co!
Marathon is great to visit! Great kayaking and plenty of local food stops! We might head back down there in the November range again.

Beautiful, but no travel this year. $37.15 for 1/2 tank of gas, and it's still going up.

Do you think you can easily navigate a canoe through the mangrove tunnel?
I would say yes but a kayak would be much better navigating them, hope that helped
