We have kayaked that same loop at Curry Hammock and saw the same jelly fish. That is one of my favorite kayak paddles ever. We hope to bring the Airstream down there someday but I know it will be hard to get a site.
It is tough to get a reservation because you can book up to 11 months in advance. But people will cancel often. Just keep trying. We haven’t been able to get in this winter. But we did score John Pennecamp 😃. I hope you get in. Alice

Thanks for a great tour. It's really nice to see someone who gets what us RV types want to see about a campground. I am a northwest person and am hunkered down at home due to smoke from the fires. Cancelled out our trip to the Oregon coast but I still have a home so I am thankful for that. One year out from a Florida trip so you have given me something to dream about for a while!

Downsizing Makes Cents we have been down to the keys three times and are shooting for 2021. We have a lot in Arizona that is our usual winter digs but we have a daughter in Atlanta so we do like to make it down that way. As a kayaker I am drooling over getting down to Bahia Honda!😎
cy fels being able to kayak right behind the campground is awesome. But Florida state parks with springs are to die for for kayak and canoe. Like Wekiva. You would love it. Silver Springs too. So many. Alice

That's a great campground and I like the way you showed the individual sites. Great footage of the kiting and the sunset/rise. Thanks for sharing. My only question is about the cost. I'm guessing, if you have to ask you can't afford it Lol. I've heard the Keys are very pricey.
Jurgen's Journeys Good question. Since it is a state park, it isn’t bad. Not like in private campgrounds. It was around $43 a night. Not bad for the Keys

Lonnie, the day use is right next to the campground. They had a small beach for kayak launch but no boat ramp. I think the water is just too shallow there. Check out our Bahia Honda video. They have a whole marina. Take care. Alice.
Angie Randazzo Angie, hi. Sites that face the beach still have dunes between the beach and the site. But there is a walkway to the beach within the campground. We rented ours with the launch site in the day use. I hope that helps. Alice
