In summer the glacier is dangerous, you need crampons, in a television program, the police rescued on the same day 6 people who fell down the glacier because they were not wearing adequate crampons, they were wearing chain crampons
This is very helpful. Thank you!
Was there last week, or close to it. Beautiful time of year to go too! Wonderful.
Thank you for the video!
I set the idea in my head to hike the pyrenees from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean next summer and try make as many peaks an high passes on the way as possible. I don't really have any experiences in the mountains so it was good to get some detailed information what I could expect to encounter.
If you wouldn't go alone would you take harness and rope etc. for these final difficulties?
Have to watch your other pyrenees videos now
Thanks for the feedback. I would actually recommend ropes and to do these sections with people. You will increase your safety.
Thanks for the video! Planning to do this in a couple weeks (October 10/11). Do you think trail shoes and micro spikes would suffice? I’m flying from Canada hopefully with carryon only.
If you have previously walked on steep terrain with microspikes then yes it's doable.
