Jerma really thrived on the back and forth exchanges with chat, people linking crazy bullshit that completely derails the stream, longform analysis of all of the perfectly compounding factors that come together to form a narrative about what Jermas doing and all kinds of other exchanges that he can't really have anymore now that chat is getting too fast to read more than a few words before they drift off screen and links are too risky
@@mitchellsmith746 it definitely seems like the main dynamic between jerma and his audience feels fragmented now cause of his en-roaching popularity, not a bad thing in itself since we've been getting some big projects out of it as a result, but i do miss his more casual streams of playing off the exaggerations of a game and the fun back and forth with his audience (something like sleeping dogs, condemned, or even the insanity that was simpsons hit and run), which i still think happens but to a lesser extent.

Hilarious that all three cops in the intro go through the whole building bashing random squatters’ brains in with no remorse, but then when they walk into an actually dangerous situation where ‘shoot first ask questions later’ would be justified, since the actual murder suspect is holding a fellow officer at gun point, they use a completely unprecedented amount of restraint, refusing to pull any triggers at all

I took this game over to a friend's party one night and we played it in the dark in a garage on a 70 inch TV. It was so fucking fun and scary. I'm glad Jerma played this so I can relive the game with someone else at the wheel!
I remember when I was a kid and my older brothers friend brought it over to play in our dark basement but I wasn’t allowed to play just watch my brother piss his pants whenever he saw his shadow or accidentally kicked a wrench in game. But after playing it we made up our own version of hide and seek called caution where 2 people hid in the basement and one person comes down with a flashlight and a gun and the person with the flashlight has to shoot the hiders without being touched.

It is amazing how short jermas memory is, goes through the whole level killing enemies and then sees the guys he killed dead on the ground and hes like “What the fuck why are all these guys dead?”
flexxarnnn I really enjoyed the second game, it’s pretty good. Only thing I hate is that it’s not on PC. If you liked the first game, you’ll like the sequel.
It was kinda panned at the time for being more combat centric and straying from the original too much (which I agree with), among other complaints, but it's still a pretty good game.
Its still so funny knowing they turned fuckin Thomas, a kinda heavy set mexican ish looking guy into a skinny dude who doesnt look or sound at all like Thomas

Jerma, Wendy's has the best everything. Baconators are the best. Hardee's is second best. They have good thick burgers and jalapeno poppers. Hardee's also has a good breakfast menu. Take it from me, I'm a fat guy.
I think psychotic abandoned building dwellers are a pretty cool guy. They never touch first-aid kits even though they're plentiful and doesn't afraid of anything!!
Mister666Joker Yeah, constant performance problems and it shouldn't even happen because the game does not even have that great graphics for a next gen game.
Kind of irritating that Jerma is obviously ignoring the story being given during the loading screens between chapters. I know it's a stream and all, but he would probably like it even more.
starting to appreciate these chill boston era streams more now, they seem like simpler times compared to the sheer chaos jerma's community is now

My favourite thing about this stream is him taking screenshots every time he presses Esc
If I were a cop I would be less concerned over someone killing serial killers and more concerned over the army of mutant gollum creatures living under the city.
I never noticed how much the MC of this game looks like a human goblin.
He's a lump of just muscle that's absorbed his neck and somehow he looks less human than a doom 3 character
I know im 3 years late to the party but the MC looks like the son of Kurt Angle and a goblin
I'm sad that I missed out on this era of Jerma, so I really appreciate the people who archived his vods

dude this game is an industrial and metropolitan hedge maze. every room is grey or beige interiors lol. Everything looks the same.
A good part was when he asked where the other detectives went while one was talking to him with subtitles on the screen.
It’s because he reads the chat a lot, so it requires multitasking, thus why this misconception about his attention span
Condemned: criminal origins was a good ass fuckin' game.
Yee, do you know if the sequel is any good? I never got around to it because it's console only.
