He's somehow so bad but so much better than 90% of other streamers who played this game
he's not fully playing to the camera he's trying to play the game, i would imagine a lot of streamers are banking on the horror aspect of this game for clips and whatever
I really appreciate your edits, as awesome as Cheltie is for shorter edits, nobody does long edits like you, I love putting these on as background noise to keep my goblin brain occupied 😆
To be honest these are so well edited you can get the highlights + the main story and best parts of the game all in one and thats why i appreciate Skye so much

Almost certainly health related. He used to stream much more back then and slowed down a lot in 2020 (I think?) where he changed it so that he would only stream a once or twice a week instead of like up to 5 times sometimes back then and he did that for health related reasons. So maybe that, some medications he is taking in relation to that or just streaming less (meaning he's less in the streamer mindset) probably mellowed him out. Or it's legit age, but it doesn't really matter.
Remember to enjoy the things you have while you have them, kids!

Its actually genuinely interesting to compare the experience of a person playing for the first time vs my own, even more so when I compare both later runs where I know what I'm doing.

I wanna play this game so bad, but i cant playing horror games (despite deadspace being one of my favorite games lol) this one especially i feel like would literally give me a panic attack, so if i cant play it in just gonna watch funny man do it.
If you can handle Dead Space you can get through Darkwood without trauma. I only became very uncomfortable sleeping in front of large windows. Honestly seems like common sense really.

I use the windows key all the time. Maybe if jerma learned how to win+D instead of alt+tab every time, his games wouldnt crash smh
Oh my god this game is so good I never noticed he played it! Literally one of the scariest games to ever use this top down style and it's so good highly recommend to anyone in for a fright!
Honestly I'd say Darkwood is overall one of the scariest games I have ever played, not even among top down games but all games.

48:20 jerma admits to having echolocation
32:04 this annoys me. "Dimly lits" is not right, the area is either dimly lit or the source dimly lights the area but you wouldn't say the second one really.
I don't know why it annoys me when a weird mistake like that is in a game, I think it's because it really throws me back to poorly translated jrpgs that really show you the quality of the overall game and the lack of effort or love for it to make sure these things are sorted.
It's probably not as bad as I feel it is but I can't get that bad taste out of my mouth and it always brings me out of the experience
I think the dev's first language is Polish.
@@skye4 Yeah I really understand that, my ex was Lithuanian and it's not like I corrected minor mistakes when it's such an incredible achievement learning another language in the first place. I really just meant from a quality control standpoint to make sure your game is perfect, and I did say I'm probably just overreacting because of bad experiences in the past that are hard to unlink if that makes sense? It wasn't a hateful criticism, just something I noticed and I hate when I do notice things like that
