  • Went out for a casual cast and decided to try out the gulp shrimp. The barracudas couldn't get enough of it. I tied on the vudu shrimp to have a second attempt at landing the elusive yellow jack. Ended up being my overall PB!

      Check baileys Bay foot bridge on Google maps. It's there. If you go at the right time, different jack species go through there, snapper, barracuda, and many other types of nice fish

    I want to come to Bermuda to fish, is a fishing license required?

    • @luremongers8544
      @luremongers8544  Год назад

      Nope. If you bring a travel rod or buy a setup here, you can get to casting.

      Haven't got much big fish on it beside the one in this vid, but it has certainly earned it's spot.
      Thanks for watching

    The unfinished railway trail by Jibbet's had mackerel, horse-eyes and blue runners last Saturday.

    Hello its Jibrils friend Aidan, could I use land snails to fish hogfish or not? I'm a little confused where to buy crabs and shellfish. Also where can you buy an inexpensive net? Being that C-Marts nets are 200$ plus

    • @luremongers8544
      @luremongers8544  Год назад

      Cmart nets are the best quality for the money. That's just how it is :(
      Don't buy crabs, flip over rocks in muddy areas during low tide. Get about 12 or so good ones. If you don't use them on the same day they'll survive a few days in bucket of shallow water.

      @@luremongers8544 alright , you mean I can find crabs under the rocks ?what about muscles ? Can I use them?

      @@vlaxshadow your best bet is crab. Watch the first hogfish quest video. I show you step by step how to find them

    Nice catch. That's a decent spot for small tarpon (out further in the bay north of the dock) and if you're that far east, try the causeway bridge on both sides and the sandbar opposite the new airport.

      So we do get the small tarpon. Last summer I only saw 5 plus footers
