- Here's a few clips from December and over the holiday. I haven't seen many patrols to cast over, so I decided to use the cast net and do something a bit different by throwing some fresh pilchards and fry.

Nice Bonita! Sometimes you see them swimming with big hogfish. Nice video!
Really nice! Good luck in 2024
Coolest Cast Catch Cook
great video bro keep it up!
Nice video buddy keep it up those Bonitas are everywhere right now
They'll keep us busy til things warm up and the others start swarming.
Nice way to wrap up the year. Tight lines in 2024!
Stephen here bro!!🎉😮
Welcome!! 2 new vids coming soon :) stay tuned
It would be cool to see the carry on of hogfish quest, I recently caught a 15lb one on a bucktail jig while fishing for bones, definitely didn't expect it.
Really? Wow. I should have a look around for them then, and a few bones. This time of year I'm not sure where to start. Congrats on the 15lb hog!!
@@luremongers8544 I live in somerset and don't fish much further down the island, but there are a ton of sand flats here holding bones and hogs, I recommend Daniels head bay or down by the somerset bridge inlet, but it has to be early in the morning before the boats come through, the best bait for the hogs are either mud crab or specifically shrimp heads, often the shrimp bodies get eaten by other stuff.
@@luremongers8544 For bones the best baits are squid and pilchard, it can be hit or miss and I recommend trying small bucktails or 2 inch vudu shrimp.
Super emocionante. Enhorabuena por tus videos cada vez son mejores.
Gracias hermano. Espero que estes bien!!
Oh man I can’t wait to get a net and catch my own bait 😂
Pricey, but worth it in the long run if you take care of it. Saves time and money. If you have squid jigs and a net, there's no need to pay for bait.
Nice fish at the end there. Unfornate on that fish down flats. Whateva hit u the first time looked solid.
Could have been a keeper yellowtail. Gonna hit there again soon as I get a chance.
Love ya videos, what rod, line, reel do you use, I'm in Bda on holiday this June/July & I will be packing a travel rod to have a go!
My typical inshore setup is a 2500 reel, 7 ft medium rod sometimes medium heavy for extra muscle, 15lb braid with 25lb mono leader. For artificial paddle tails in natural colours are a must have for most jacks will be active around that time. Don't forget a few straight retrieve hard lures.
Thanks for getting back to me, I was thinking of a 9ft Penn squadron III I've several reels I use for carp fishing I can use, will spool up with braid & nylon shock leader, Cheers!
Nice bro 👍
Nice work Brother, thanks for sharing! Hey were you referencing the Shimano baitrunner reel?
Nothing as nice as that unfortunately. I picked up a picsifun chaos XS 50. Thought it would be a great entry level baitcaster to learn on based on reviews.
