What an awesome catch 👏🏽 a beautiful fish and great show of persistence - plus the ‘a few days later..’ I couldn’t help but hear in the SpongeBob show voice 😄 great job again

No spots on our flounder in the North East! Been fishing Bermuda for 25 years and have never seen / caught that fish in your waters! Congrats and thanks for sharing!

Peacock Flounder, they have them down Florida way. Up here we got summer and winter flounder. That was a stud!! Think 14" is keeper in Florida.

It's been slow, and the weather's been working against us, but hopefully you'd get on a few fish when you get here.
      Thanks for watching!

Saw it on your Instagram, around 5 years ago I netted one while swimming at church bay, it got out but I've never seen one since. I believe it's called a peacock flounder and is our only flounder species in Bermuda.

Awesome! I figured it wasn't the same as the typical ones I see dudes catching on the East Coast. I pinned this comment since this is handy info for other viewers. Thanks for the comment and for always tuning in.

We have a bit up here from what I've been told, but at the same time lots of folk don't see them much. Definitely a rare and satisfying catch for me.

Search vudu shrimp on amazon. I landed the fish on a simple circle hook with a chunk of cut bait. There is no other fancy gear to mention this vid
