Trial and error. My friend introduced me to a great lure, but it was hard to find so I experimented with other more available ones til I found what the fish followed. Also learned the pattern of when and when not to cast.
@@luremongers8544 sounds good..next time I'm in Bermy, I might give it a try. My parents have left Bermuda now since retirement so not sure when I'll be back. I'm in Canada now so pond/lake/river fishing will be my MO. Any good straight retrieve lures (that don't involve in kind of fancy twitching or hop techniques..lol) that you'd recommend if I take another trip to Bermy?
