For newcomers, I’d very much appreciate it if you take the time to check out our Horizon 5 critique. It goes over many of our suggestions for the future of the series as well, that’s linked right here ruclips.net/video/iYvNWy_2RXo/видео.htmlsi=RwxoPcroR-8IQqaP
@@UltraViolet_Moses Honestly, I wouldn't even expect a full walkable house, but a few things to make the house feel more like an actual place you bought. Like unique showrooms for every house would be huge. Instead of just being the same clean modern studio, you could have more rustic garages, or something a bit more like a mechanic shop. From there you could have some background decorations of your choice like signs, posters, trophies from big events. A few of your favourite cars on display in the background. (More expensive houses offering more spots) Or being able to just move around your garage with a free cam like the drone mode. I don't think this is a lot to ask for, and it would do a lot for the vibe of the game.
that would be nice; the current "house" system is trash because it's just the Festival Hub but annoying dynamic lighting and no music. They only brought it to 5 because it was a holdover from 4, and houses were implemented in 4 because they only had one festival location across the entire map...
@@UltraViolet_MosesI feel like expanding the houses would be great, but not to the point where it’s like f1 22 with f1 life, which was a joke. It was all completely unrelated to the game and made no difference. If there were certain bits of furniture that would buff your credits or something that would be cool, and would give trying to get said furniture a purpose
I even struggle to play it after the first few hours of gameplay because I already have the 3 box cover cars from the previous Forza games that have been handled to me like it's cheap candy. And the races that you can do hold no value to anything but the very straight pathway that is leaning up to you making the entire experience just lifeless to play.
There are two things that I really want in FH6. A good map, I want to be absolutely blown away by how the map looks. If I'm not blown away by the map, it's gonna make me not want to play the game other than unlocking the new cars every Thursday and maybe play on the weekends with some friends, which is what I do on FH5. Plus the game might be coming out on a new console, which will give the devs absolutely no excuse for the map to be lazily put together. Second, I want the game to at least have a proper progression system which will make the game more engaging. I should not be able to unlock the longest races in the game within 2-3 hours of playtime. Also less cringe dialogue would be nice too ig.
@@Twiggo_The_Foxxo the map should look good regardless. Taking the Eliminator out of the equation doesn't change how the map feels for the most part. I do enjoy driving in certain areas, but a good majority of it is just not at all fun nor remotely interesting to drive on.
I don't even want the eliminator they should spend more time filling the map up, making it feel denser rather then just making it "bigger". If the map felt bigger you would think there would be many areas to explore, but in reality its just a bunch of terrain
The fact that Forza Horizon has lasted THIS long being built on last gen console's is just insane, I really want the next game to be only on the new gen's so that it can really push the new limits of the current next gen consoles
@@Carsforlife_ To be honest, with how much of a mess the new Engine is, I think PGG would be Wise to use the Current, Old, Engine, again. Given that FH5 has also seen some Notable, yet unannounced (Stealth) Graphical Upgrades recently.... I wonder if maybe they actually *are* making 6 on the Old Engine... they would be wise to.
We desperately need something a lot more like the first game, it was such an incredible start and very much justifies why the series was so successful to begin with! Nowadays just feels like a cheap-out though.. I miss the good times of a real festival environment, good music choices, and an overall united playthrough. Single player OR Multiplayer
They cannot go back to FH1, Microsoft Corporate Policy regarding the Age Rating on the Forza Games, as of 2019 a PEGI 3/ESRB E is *Mandatory* on all Future Forza Games, has made that Impossible. They can, however, go back to FH2.
@@mikejr7727 True, the Festival in FH5 does feel like the Afterthought that it is... they *really* need to Re-Hire Rob Da Bank to Design an Actual Festival Site for them for FH6!
Turn 10, the studio behind Forza Motorsport, doesn't make the Horizon games. Playground Games does and considering how well they've been doing with the updates in Horizon 5, I expect Horizon 6 to be a well-made game. I'm tired of people using the "built from the ground up" argument and applying it to Playground Games, when they never said that and didn't make the Forza Motorsport games.
@@CaseyCollier Yup. 100%! PGG know what they are doing, and, although I do Expect a lot of Day One Bugs with FH6 as All Games are, Sadly, Broken on Day One these Days :( ... I expect a Very Well made and Competent Title beneath them that will shine through once its got a couple of Patches under its Wheels. People Seem to forget that Turn 10 (in name only) is under an "18/6 Contract" (You are *Literally Fired* after 18 Months and then you cannot get another Job for 6 Months afterwards) which means they cannot get Professionals! the Team Literally does not know what it is Doing as it is Comprised, basically, of People who are working on their First Game because that is all they can get due to that Contract. No Professional will work for them!. That Contract, Fortunately, Is *illegal* (it is literally *against the Law* !) here in the United Kingdom, as a Result, most of Playground's Staff are on Long Term to Permanent Contracts, many of them are Ex Bizarre Creations (its why there is so much Clear "Project Gotham" DNA in the Horizon Games, its 70% the Same Devs!) and have been in the Industry since the PS1/N64 Era, they are Experienced Professionals and they Know what they are Doing! Playground is a Competent, Experienced Team. Turn 10 (in name only!) is Not. So Indeed, all of the Issues that are Wrecking Turn 10 do not Apply to Playground as the Reason why Turn 10 are in a Mess, the "18/6 Contract" , cannot even manifest in the UK as it is against the Law here, so the Insults such as "built from the ground up" (a Term PGG has *never* used) used for Turn 10 do not Apply to PGG! People need to spend less time Making Brainrot Memes and more time Researching!
problem is horizon overshadowed motorsports motorsports needs to be turned into project Gotham if they don't double down on it being a sim it really needs some identity and a reason for you to play it Idont really know a solution. They just need to get it together
Personally there's 3 things I really want to see but also think Forza Horizon _needs_ at this point to stay relevant and competitive with other games of it's genre. 1. Car customization. It has been 10 years (soon to be 12 actually) and outside of around 100-ish cars, there is little to no customization, I think the team has had more than enough time to make most cars in the franchise customizable outside of the default Forza aero kits and yet such a tiny number of cars actually have decent levels of customization, it feels incredibly lazy at this point. Compare this with games like NFS or The Crew where you can create a Nissan Sil80, have an M3 GTR with the racing series widebody and much more, the competition is kicking Horizon's rear bumper in this regard and Playground really needs to step up their game in this department. 2. A good map. It's hard to put into words how to truly make a good map, but in the end I think we all want something expansive yet evenly linked together with nice in between details so driving doesn't feel like a droning, boring chore. I think personally I'd like to see more than just 1 or 2 cities too, I think it'd be nice to have a map that feels more populated and dense in certain areas yet quite and remote where it needs to be, not just one city at the top of the map with nothing else really notable. 3. Make Horizon feel balanced once again and stop giving us supercars after the first race. The main appeal of the original horizon games was starting with nothing and climbing the ranks, you had a puny little VW Golf and you had to earn your way to the top rather than being handed the keys to a Pagani Zonda and told to have fun. Horizon was awesome when it had that whole "Zero to Hero" storyline to it, you started off as a nobody but made a name for yourself by winning races and taking on the festival's toughest opponents. Even if we get a Japan map for FH6 as people have been begging for, it will be for nothing if the game itself is bad with no improvements over 4 and 5. I really love this franchise and it has so much potential, yet it's being so limited while favouring new players instead of trying to make the game experience good for both old fans and new festival arrivals.
how about this, you take out the online section from festival playlist and keep them up forever, so anyone who wants the car from a particular playlist can earn it by doing the races against the drivators in the playlist
Being able to replay older playlists and unlock the cars at a later point would be so good. FOMO ist the worst for people who cant hop on the game every week or get the game at a later point. A good example how it could work is The Crew Motorfest with its Legacy Mainstage, where you can complete previous Events and unlock the reward cars that were tied to it. So you dont miss out on stuff if you havent played for weeks
Gran Turismo 6 with the "Spec II mod" is the shining example of what something like that would be. Hundreds of extra added events, all accessible at any time. Unfortunately, they're not recreated perfectly, since the original races against AI gave out prizes every time, while apparently in the mod they only do once, like on the time and drift trials. If it weren't for that, I might have already sunk hundreds of hours on that game again, like back in the day. But sadly, time restricted events are made solely to incentivize recurrent play, especially on Forza now with Game Pass.
Real important quality of life thing, one click on the desktop icon and go straight into the game. No 2nd menu BS.😡 That...and tune-able traction contral.
Hopefully not buggy on "launch day" for the PC version, it was a dog's breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The updates added more issues, FOMO cars, and the map (or maps if you have the expansions) didn't stack up when compared to the last two installments in terms of scenery. Turn 10 and Playground games really need to bring their "A" game for the next installment or people are going to look elsewhere (Test Drive Solar Crown, The Crew Motorfest, next Need for Speed).
Honestly, the ost in Fh5 is good enough. The problem is the stupid amount of censorship some songs have. Have you hear Teardrops? My god half of it is in instrumental!!
my 2 cents; Please allows us to sort rims by weight, we have a massive list of items, yet no way to sort it. Also let us preview liveries before applying them to the cars while in the garage. And lastly, give us more tags/categories to sort the garage, like types and colors.
For the life of me. Bring back the value of cars. Getting everything in the beginning gave me no sense value at all. Lock cars behind hard challenges (Time Trials, End game missions, Multiplayer tracking, etc.). If Horizon is going for a sandbox feel and slowly forgetting about story. At least Give some sense of gradual increase in exotic cars the farther down you go in the game.
Multiplayer Exclusive Unlocks should be *Illegal* , and this is coming from someone who has been a Gamer for nearly 30 Years! Boss Battles, Time Trials and End Game Missions are Absolutely Fine and I Support those to the Hilt!! but *never* Multiplayer Exclusivity!
i forget how small this channel is compared to the quality of videos over here. Genuinely thought the channel is over 1 million by now. If you guys keep posting bangers like this, its definitely gonna happen soon!
Also, they shouldn't tie the Legendary status that people achieve through forcing players to paint liveries, make tunes, and create tracks. Those players get full pop $20 mill for any car they sell at auction which is unreasonable. I'm almost 300 hours into FH5 and still have not achieved this status. I have almost every car and have completed most of the game. I am finding most players who have this are a part of Discord groups or have RUclips channels with communities to help them achieve this much faster and easier. I am all for achieving goals in a game, but they have turned this into a form of manipulation to get people to play longer to keep their online player counts up. I don't have a ton of time to game as I am a middle aged adult who works a lot. At the same time I love cars, used to work in the industry, and have definitely given this game more time than any other driving game in the 38 years I have been playing video games.
Sadly I don't think Xbox GS and Playground Games will actually implement any of these changes. They care about the new fanbase and profits. But hopefully, they are willing to actually listen to what will improve the game.
Nice points overall, as for the Evolving Worlds it sounds like PGG needs a signoff from a representative of the Mexican gov to make changes to the FH5 map (All the fine print about patrimony etc at the start screen)
Don't get me started on cars they've never offered more than once. Here's lookin' at you Hoonigan Gymkhana 9 Focus, or more correctly never seeing you because I did not play that week back in 2021.
Not to mention the lack of customization. 810+ cars yet only around 100 have any noteworthy customization options or bodykit presets that aren't the stock Forza aero. For a game about cars and customizing them, Horizon is getting pushed aside by competitors like NFS or The Crew series.
I want VR so bad on the PC version. Assetto is life changing with VR and a few mods. There's no open world vr compatible racers, horizon would be the only one.
I wish they add a "cruise mode" of sorts that disables all notifications, popups, skills and ESPECIALLY pr stunts from triggering whenever you drive through them. Or at least an option to disable the latter. Sometimes I just wanna drive and there is nothing like a pr stunt to get me out of immersion.
Honestly, quality of life changes would be so much more welcomed than the 900th car. How about custom license plates by us states, and different countries, decals on windows, the ability to change the wheels on a downloaded tune, or add some stickers to a downloaded livery etc. But my biggest request would be the addition of some eventlabs into the multiplayer roster of tracks. Eventlabs such as the Edel circuit or the Marchenhaft Bergpass.
Things FH6 needs: 1: A good map with a modern city! 2: A story that you need to follow, FH5 was boring because it only had pointless racing without any story! 3: Good customization with more body kits, aftermarket lights and neon underglows, Im tired of bad car customization!
1. As the Base Xbox One will not be Holding the Game Back anymore, a Modern City would be no Problem as the Series S can Easily Support one at 60FPS, while Base Xbox One tends to Chug like a Badly overwhelmed N64 and Drop to below 10FPS in such Settings. Its why 4 and 5 did not have modern Cities, because of Base Xbox One being Overwhelmed by Surfers Paradise in FH3. As for a Good Map, that should also be Possible as Torben Ellert, who Helmed Rally Adventure (which has a Superb Map) is Helming the Entirety of FH6! 2. Will be Difficult, Microsoft, in 2019, Mandated a PEGI 3 Age Rating in the UK and the EU for All Future Forza Games under the "Forza Safe Space" Corporate Policy, and FH1, under the Current, Post 2018 Rules, would likely be Bumped up to a PEGI 18! due to the Cutscene with Hailey Harper... although it is Possible to do a Full Story at a PEGI 3 Rating, as Codemasters has Proven more than Once, it is *very* Difficult, and often Requires an Extremely Expensive Professional Screenwriter, as one Mistake can Easily see that Age Rating Spike to a 7 or a 12, which goes against Microsoft's Corporay Policy for Forza. As I do not see Microsoft being willing to Spend the Money on a Professional Screenwriter, and again, one would be needed to ensure that a Full Story can be done within the Strict Limitations of the 3 Rating (which is *Considerably* Stricter than the US ESRB E Equivalent, there are Games rated E by the ESRB that are Rated 12 by the PEGI!) I just do not see 6 having much of a Story. FH2 is about as close to a Story as you can get at a 3 Rating without a Professional Screenwriter. 3. Cannot Happen, Ralph Fulton confirmed to Eurogamer that PGG were actually looking at Aftermarket Lights and Neon Underglow for Forza Horizon 4, but had to Stop when Several High end Car brands threatened to Remove their Licenses over those Features being added to the Game. It just cannot be done without License Removals from Several High end Brands, and Forza, with its PR Image in Tatters, just cannot afford to lose those Licenses!
@@CaseyCollier Public Relations Image, how Forza is Perceived by the General Public, currently, it is seen as a Very Third Rate Series Indeed due to the Disastrous Launch of FM8.
@@simeonyves5940 I'm not really sure about that. Playground Games doesn't make the Motorsport series, so to me and a lot of other people, they shouldn't be blamed for the terrible launch of Forza Motorsport. If anything, Playground Games has been doing quite well recently, so I'm a lot more confident in their ability to put a great game together than I am in Turn 10. The people who can't separate those two studios from one another are the ones you shouldn't be paying attention to. If they can't do the bare minimum of research on who made which game, then their opinions deserve to be ignored. As far as Turn 10's reputation, as a studio goes, they are indeed at rock bottom. Playground Games, on the other hand, I think is in a lot better shape.
Personally, this is a long time coming on mentioning the fact that location means a lot to the game. FH5 set in Mexico didn’t interest me, due to having Australia back on FH3. What can truly win me and possibly a lot of people, is having Japan as the feature location. Car culture is practically engrained for them, that it became a video game franchise in the aughts.
I'm going to throw my hat in the ring for things I would love to see for a future update or fh6. One thing is to have the ability to make my own car groups like having a group, for example, the holy trinity aswell as sorting cars by milage so I know which ones I should try out. Another thing is to move the custom car limit for eventlab from 50 to 200, and the last thing is that visual upgrades outside of roll cages do not affect your cars pi
Uh, that might sound bad, but what Forza Horizon needs mostly it's a really good and long campaign mode... And you know what, Forza Horizon has it on Hot Wheels DLC. Just need to do it with all Classes... And with a really, really, really good story.
I do agree with a Map Extension or a City Expansion. I doubt we will have a third expansion though. If we have free roaming in the EventLab Events I would be as happy as Getting a City Expansion. Maybe Forza Could possibly create their own EventLab & put up to max of 10 SkyScrapers, A Parking Garage with a Gasoline Station & a Food Mart, Event Lab Roads/EventLab Highways, a Restaurant/Coffee Shop with a Drive Thru, a Car Dealership, & a Horizon Festival, Race Track/Stadium & a quarter Drag Strip. Forza has to make the city small because people who’s on the Original Xbox One. Maybe Forza could make an extension of the base map & make a new modern city expanding the map. They can use EvenLab Props. Also? I want to say sorry for calling you a Forza Horizon 5 Hater on your Horizon 5 Critique Video earlier this year.
the map really needs a sort of overhaul. its so dry and plain and dull, FH4 and FH3 maps were infinitely better with more variety and were way more fun. hell even if they just added a portal mode or a cool animation using the plane at the main festival where you could fly back to previous maps, sorta like TDU2 and re adding hawaii via an airport
5:20 what I do is I wait until December to get rid of my cars since they have the secret Santa during the holiday season, and I just gift them all away. I know this doesn't solve the problem since they are still sitting around in your garage for 11 months but at least it let's duplicates serve a purpose
The Duplicate Car filter is good and all, but I wish they had a filter that would show cars I have more than 2 of. I want a duplicate of most cars, but an easier way to find those I have more than 2 of would be cool.
I think having access to previous season exclusive cars through either the car showroom, or even by playing through the single player races of these seasons to unlock them would do wonders for Horizon. As someone who has checked out for Horizon 5 for a fair while now, I have no incentive to go back to it as I can't get access all these cars that I've missed out on, other than by paying crazy inflated prices to get them through the auction house.
FH5 was pretty good, but I barely played it because the map was so boring and never a challenge to drive. They need to introduce a mix of narrower roads, especially in the cities. If you want wide forgiving roads, you're not going to be driving through town anyway. So lean into what each area is enjoyable for, and bring back non destructable barriers again and interesting terrain that isn't designed to be driven over. Not the blocked off areas of old, but a challenge for offroading that would otherwise encourage following the actual roads in sportscars.
@@UltraViolet_Moses Given Microsofts Servers are Currently run by Ubisoft (Divesting the Servers to a Neutral Third Party was the only way to get the British Government to Ok Microsofts Purchase of Activision) it will Probably be run on Ubisoft's back end.
@@UltraViolet_Moses your channel and video are so high quality when i started watching you i didn't you your sub count but i cannot believe when you said 35k i though you at least had couple of millions
The mp needs to reconnect with the mp being fun first and foremost I also love the map extensions idea and hope to see seasons return in all I think you're tapped in to a good criticism on the series
I agree with the playlist cars eventually being added to autoshow or at the very least make the forzathon shop bigger and rotate more frequently. They honestly need to just do away with the auction house.
Better/ prettier/ more immersive map (ditch real world location if thats what bottlenecks developers ideas for additions). Better car visual customization and alot more aero options. Better tuning options for things like boost control and variable timing. Plan expansions to connect off of main map. Add an actual story similar to nfs, as well as having to work your way up no supercars or even mid level cars right away
And I hate donut media but that was a good idea for a youtube celebrity collab if done better. Jimmy oakes, b is for build, Rob dahm etc. And similar to how they added that rally evo and hot wheels trans am and twerkstallion I think it'd be cool to slowly add a lot of real life custom vehicles like that. Could be similar to forza edition cars but called something else. And could be polls online or in game where people can vote on the next ones
As the dev moving on to develop Fable, I think this is the right time to start again from scratch. The game is aging and it really shows, so a refresh in terms of engine technology is appreciated. I actually don't mind losing some features like changing seasons, custom track building, etc. As long as they nailed the core driving and the environment, I'm good.
The golden age of forza is long over since the fm3-4 and fh1-3 era. Time to switch to new things that's starting their own golden era. I'm wating for carx street's release on pc soon. hype!
With forza drying out in recent times I have just moved on too assetto corsa, hopefully this franchise comes back as something better in the next installment, I still played forza after the launch of three, but with the amount time that has past between the launch of 4, to the current day of five. I have lost all hype for forza, really wish it can give me the charm it did back when I played during horizon 1
Great video guys, lots of great ideas here I really hope they implement. I really hope they do consider adding the seasonal cars to the in-game shop. I took a break from the game and I never heard of the vapor wave update until it's last week, and it was pissed I missed the NVision 74. Trying to get the money and just find it in the auction house has been a pain and I still don't have it... Additionally, I would love for them to really blow us away with the next map. As a Mexican it hursts when I hear people say Mexico is a boring country and no good for racing. The game severely fumbled the bag in this regard, giving us too little of the diverse biomes stuck into corners of the map, perpetrating the "Mexico has no roads" myth, as well as not taking advantage of the console generations improvements to make a larger scaled city like a scaled down Mexico City or Guadalajara. But ultimately doing the setting justice aside, I just really hope the next horizon is more fun to drive in, has a map with people doing things in the festivals, and more animals around to make the games feel alive. Finally, I would like the next horizon to have more structure in its racing disciplines. I don't see them walking back the whole "get a Lamborghini in the first 20 minutes" tactic to reel in players, but I would like to see progression in the disciplines themselves. Start racing in a class C, and as the discipline unlocks new races, you have to move up in car category. This way you can still get your Lambo and enjoy it, but racing will still have a sense of progression. Anyway sorry for the paragraph, and thanks for the video! Here's to hoping the next horizon is a step forward for the franchise
Noticed that in your need for speed shift retrospective you said “undercover was well undercover”. Curious to see if you would be interested in making a retrospective on nfs undercover.
The one thing I'm *most* concerned about for the future is the implementation of always online connectivity. Sure, I play Forza games on PC so "owning" stuff is kinda dodgy anyway (barring GOG of course) but at least I can play offline if I want. I could totally see Playground Games thinking "Hey, let's make it always online for all our fancy social features! Or e-sports! " It seems really stupid, but NFS 2015 is always online exactly because of its social features.
i so much agree with buying playlist cars after the show is over also restrict many races to a specific car model or manufactures or horse power like in gran turismo that way I am forced to play the game with multiple cars rather than the game adjusting the opponents based on my choice
4:50: i started playing in September of last year. This means that i still couldn't get my hands on a bunch of cars that i want because they are time-gated. Now, i'm a big Initial D fan, so the AE86 is a must-have for me. You might think that it shouldn't be too hard to get one, since it's only a tofu shitbox, right? Wrong. It took me 4 months to FINALLY get one, simply because i wasn't playing when it was available on the playlist. Another example is the Peel P50 - another shitbox - i've been playing for nearly a year and have more than 1000 hours in the game, yet i still couldn't get one. Why? Because i didn't start playing when PG wanted me to. There are more examples, like the 4C, but these are the main ones. To force people to play your game is outright ridiculous and if it wasn't for the enormous amount of cars and the amazing handling, i would've stopped playing long ago because of the playlist
seriously im hoping in the next update or in horizon 6 they could let you change the menu to multiple seasonal updates that had been through. I miss fh1 menu and the retrowave menu.
Ultraviolet, your insights on the future of Forza Horizon are spot on! 🌅🚗 It's true-Horizon 5 has been in uncharted territory with its longevity, and the anticipation for what's next is palpable. Your thoughts on where the series should go from here really resonate, especially the advice for the next installment. Can't wait to see where Horizon heads next, and your video just fueled that excitement even more! 🎮🔥
Not that I think it would happen (or at least not without severe compromises), but if we’re talking pie-in-the-sky, moonshot-level ideas for the future of the Horizon series, I’d like to see them do something really crazy: Go to outer space. Seriously, the amount of geological diversity found just within our own solar system alone offers more than enough justification for setting up some of the wackiest races you can imagine. But combine that with the idea of the maps changing over time (I’m easily imagining different man-made facilities set up on each planet), and you’ve got yourself one of the greatest potential racing game sandboxes of all time. Also…it would give us an excuse to introduce more NASA-themed vehicles into the roster, like the original moon rover or the ill-fated MR-V prototype vehicle.
My problem with fh5 os the the map is irredeemably boring and that just cannot be fixed, we need a completely new map, a different location whatever. I cannot see how this map could ever be fixed apart from maybe generating anoter 3 times the size of the current one since the current map definitely sint handmade for most of it anyways
I like your ideas, they so simple when thinking about the topic for a little. Would be lovely to see something happen. Maybe on Gamescom in a few weeks we hear something. They anounced they public something then and there? For QoL Features. I would love if the 'current car' is no longer on the most left in your car list. But stays where the car natrualy is placed in your garage. So that if you work let say on a Porsche GT3, and you want to compare it to your other Porsche GT3 that you do not have to jump the garage from A to P each time. For maps, what I would love to see is a expansion of the existing map. So that you don't have to Travel to it. (that the main reason why I hardly visit the expansion maps. the weekely things happen on the main map majorly so thats where I end up mostly. But for a realistic idea, I guess the Devs wont put to much work into FH5 now, maybe they partly working on FH6 already who knows. But what maybe doable without to much work on the Dev side, is a Expansion. I would suggest Give the FH3 map as an alterantive location. Why? First I think Australia fit in neatly with Mexico having jungles deserts and other so. And secondly FH3 is not purchaseable for some time. And yes it has no seasson. And I would accept this set back for the tread in to have more map to drive on.
All they need to do is set it in japan, have a good range of areas like a mountain pass or 2, the highway system, tight narrow streets of some rural areas plus the countryside, capture the nightlife with tons of neon signs, plus then maybe for a showcase event have one be against the drift king himself Keiichi Tsuchiya, so many cool ideas can go into a japan based horizon it kills me seeing how for at least 10 years now the community have been asking for a japan based game and they ignore the majority
They cannot do it on the Forzatech M Engine, it does not support Directly Connected Expansions! Motorfests Anvil Engine Supports them as it is a Purpose Designed Open World Game Engine, but Forzatech M does not as it was *never* Designed for Open World Games and has to "simulate" its open World by Loading the Map into the RAM as One, Massive, Race Track! its why, even on SSD, it takes a bit of time to Load!
@@ld9387 Yup, the Engine is getting rather long in the Tooth, but, sadly, with the "F-Tech" Engine designed to replace it being borderline non-Functional, I Fear the old Engine may have to be used again for FH6, as, at least it works, unless PGG can convince Microsoft to let them use Unreal Engine 5.
Forza horizon 5 seems like a tech demo, high quality graphics and arcade gameplay, souless cities and environment, one minute inside game you already has one supercar decreasing value for in game progress. I can only hope they bring the underdog progress from Forza one to Forza horizon 6 (Japan or Brazil 🤞🤞), the bracelets were amazing, and it was hard to get the best cars bringing values and also making players want to improve driving skills. Forza horizon 4 seasons were amazing for me (some pepole complained about winter, but if you use proper snow tires or cars with the snow symbol, it really is a cool experience.
i just want the next game to actually have some sort of proper progression, and no auction house don’t lock cars behind the auction house for 20 mil just because i didn’t obsessively play the game for 1 week, let me unlock the cars by progressing through the game! not that weekly limited time garbage, i wanna be able to actually sell my cars too, the way Forza handles this is worse than any racing game ive ever played would also be great if we didn’t have the best cars 10 minutes in, let us start from the bottom and progress, give an actual reason to play the game
It would be better if microsoft and playground games both promote and release legacy Forza Horizon titles in Windows pc, like Forza Horizon, Forza Horizon 2 and Horizon 3 including all associated add-ons. It will be better for us. They have to renew licences for those fantastic titles in pc. There are many users and players who want complete forza collection in pc with all dlc and pre-order cars. Microsoft should look for previous legacy titles of Horizon.
I would like for real progression to return to the franchise. Being given an a90 and a c8 at the beginning is wild to me, as well as being gifted a senna, centenario, huracan and ford gt for having played past titles kind of eliminates progress. Get rid entriely of wheelspins too, and make race rewards lower so you can actually feel something when you finally buy the supercar of your dreams (e.g. fh2 on xbox 360 had decent progression imo, played little fh2 on xbox one).
Making the Race Rewards Lower would make the Game too much of a Grind, and even I, who have been Gaming for nearly 30 years, would walk, overblown Grind does not appeal, as it just makes the Game a Job! and its one of those anyway due to the Playlist. They do indeed need to get rid of the Wheelspins (as they are Underage Gambling as far as I am concerned) for sure and make players Buy their Cars, as well as Stop Gifting Supercars, and go with more "normal" Starter cars, something like the FK2 Generation Type R. But they need to Counter the Removal of Wheelspins with Increased, Not Decreased, Race Payouts to stop the Game turning into even *More* of a Job than it is Currently!
I’ve kind of went the other way recently, I MUCH prefer the setting of FH4, so I’m back playing that. Even so far as starting over on (handheld) PC. While I might do the same with FH5 down the road, there really isn’t anything calling me back to playing 5 right now. I put a lot of hours into both on Xbox, but found 5 especially got stale, so maybe it just needs time for me personally before I’m excited to come back to it.
I played this game every single week since launch, being on such a dedicated streak just to have every single car and Accolade the moment they would drop. Even when I was on a vacation at my cousin's house, I would get juuuuust enough points via Steam Link over crappy internet. This all came to an end when I reinstalled Windows. Why? Their stupid forced cloud save system conflicted with Steam's own cloud save (which updates more often) so it made me lose ALL of my liveries, tunes, and the last car I obtained, which was a Playlist exclusive. I immediately uninstalled at that point and have no reason to return, even if the additions I'm missing out on do look like a bit of fun. It'll also be the last Forza game I buy unless they really get their game together for a future entry, I was always peeved by how memory and CPU heavy this game is (it somehow overloaded 16 GB of memory countless times until I upgraded to 32) on top of being a lackluster experience overall after 600+ hours of continual play.
Honestly I hope they dial it down with the cars and gives us more game modes. Cars are great but if you have notting new to do with them you kind of just forget about it bc look at FH3 and FM6 compare to the new games. FH3 had amazing maps, expansions, challenges, and online rank racing. FM6 you got new tracks, nascar expansion and a good career mode. Hell even FH4 has some good things about it the eliminator and the side story events. Then you look at FH5 and even FM2023 they have a good amount of cars but they both lack content that there's no point in really using most of the cars they have in the game
A street racing expansion similar to NFS would be SOOOO good 😭. Imagine having police chases in a dark themed city with Forza's graphics. Or, for Forza's more 'hero' approach, maybe a new type of race line-up called like 'chases' or something where you become the police and have to hunt down the street racers.
1. Cannot be done at the Microsoft Mandated PEGI 3 Rating, Police Chases Require a PEGI 12 rating at the Minimal as of 2018, which Microsoft will no longer allow on a Forza Game as of the Introduction of a Mandatory 3 Rating in 2019 under the "Forza Safe Space" Corporate Policy. FH1's 12 Rating was a One off! 2. Toyota, Renault, Stellantis, and Several other Brands who Forbid Police Chases (hence the "dodge arounds" such as "Dog Cars" (Motorfest) or "Security Team" (Asphalt) seen in other Games) under their License Deals would Remove their Licenses, something Forza, with its Shattered PR Image, just cannot Afford Right now.
@@SillyKlaus For me it is a thank goodness, as I am not a fan of Police Chases, Dank Urban Maps nor Street Racing, but I do understand why it is a massive shame for those who Do like that kind of Game.
Honestly FH5 is a really good game I don't mind it going on for another year. Hope I can still play it after the servers will be shut down but let's be real it'll die at that exact moment and all my time will have been wasted from that point onwards lol
We need an actual built from the ground up rework for modern consoles only. Any changes they do shouldn't be for that season it should just be permanent additions. Improve the festival experience i want nfs prostreet style organized race events. Then, after said race events just do the outside the festival unorganized racing that people are doing with a personal garage to store and display your vehicles.
the fact that fh6 will guaranteedly be exclusive to the new consoles means that I, a xbox one player, am in great danger (and no, pc is not a viable option in my case)

a garage to display cars would be perfect too like the the tdu and tc2 franchise, etc.
this is another fun idea, a way to expand the "house" concept that horizon has always fallen behind in comparison to TDU
@LancePersona the new Forza Motorsport has that so Horizon 6 will probably have it too
Progression that doesnt make me fall asleep. Id like that
Couldnt finish the fifth it was so boring bruv
I even struggle to play it after the first few hours of gameplay because I already have the 3 box cover cars from the previous Forza games that have been handled to me like it's cheap candy.
And the races that you can do hold no value to anything but the very straight pathway that is leaning up to you making the entire experience just lifeless to play.
@ippo3963 what is there to finish in fh5?
The biggest problem with fh5s map is that it was focused on the eliminator
@@Twiggo_The_Foxxo the map should look good regardless. Taking the Eliminator out of the equation doesn't change how the map feels for the most part. I do enjoy driving in certain areas, but a good majority of it is just not at all fun nor remotely interesting to drive on.
@@gamingmamba2584 but they centered the map around the eliminator because most of the map is flat and with barely any static objects
And good festival vibes
I don't even want the eliminator they should spend more time filling the map up, making it feel denser rather then just making it "bigger". If the map felt bigger you would think there would be many areas to explore, but in reality its just a bunch of terrain
The fact that Forza Horizon has lasted THIS long being built on last gen console's is just insane, I really want the next game to be only on the new gen's so that it can really push the new limits of the current next gen consoles
It’ll use the current forza motorsport engine. That’s why it’s taking so long to release. The engines a mess
Should’ve called it “What’s on the horizon for Forza Horizon “
We desperately need something a lot more like the first game, it was such an incredible start and very much justifies why the series was so successful to begin with! Nowadays just feels like a cheap-out though.. I miss the good times of a real festival environment, good music choices, and an overall united playthrough. Single player OR Multiplayer
They cannot go back to FH1, Microsoft Corporate Policy regarding the Age Rating on the Forza Games, as of 2019 a PEGI 3/ESRB E is *Mandatory* on all Future Forza Games, has made that Impossible. They can, however, go back to FH2.

If Motorsport was anything to go by, Horizon 5, a milktoast and near soulless and watered-down game will age like fine wine with the next entry.

I’m new to this channel, this video feels very good, this video deserves getting recommended.
Welcome aboard!
No 2nd menu BS.😡
That...and tune-able traction contral.
Ayoo, another ultraviolet vid, lets go baby, best videos to watch while doing assignments
Hope the ost in the next game is comparable to fh1s
And most importantly: Good festival vibe
@@Critical365 I hope one of rare Americans songs shows up in fh6 ost
Honestly, the ost in Fh5 is good enough. The problem is the stupid amount of censorship some songs have. Have you hear Teardrops? My god half of it is in instrumental!!
my 2 cents;
Please allows us to sort rims by weight, we have a massive list of items, yet no way to sort it.
Also let us preview liveries before applying them to the cars while in the garage.
And lastly, give us more tags/categories to sort the garage, like types and colors.

@@RTrellx Why are Either of those Important, why does Horizon have to turn into NFS and become even *worse* than it already is?
For the life of me. Bring back the value of cars. Getting everything in the beginning gave me no sense value at all. Lock cars behind hard challenges (Time Trials, End game missions, Multiplayer tracking, etc.). If Horizon is going for a sandbox feel and slowly forgetting about story. At least Give some sense of gradual increase in exotic cars the farther down you go in the game.
Please don't do that.We see how that turned out on forza motorsport
Multiplayer Exclusive Unlocks should be *Illegal* , and this is coming from someone who has been a Gamer for nearly 30 Years!
Boss Battles, Time Trials and End Game Missions are Absolutely Fine and I Support those to the Hilt!! but *never* Multiplayer Exclusivity!
They should really add the backstage pass for festival playlist cars, idk why they dropped it. Would solve the issue of auction house hunting.
They probably will towards the end of the game's life like fh4
i forget how small this channel is compared to the quality of videos over here. Genuinely thought the channel is over 1 million by now. If you guys keep posting bangers like this, its definitely gonna happen soon!
Hopeful for 50k first, a million is faaaar too out of reach
Yeah, that's horrible and this forced FOMO made me leave Horizon 5 for good
Not to mention the lack of customization.
810+ cars yet only around 100 have any noteworthy customization options or bodykit presets that aren't the stock Forza aero.
For a game about cars and customizing them, Horizon is getting pushed aside by competitors like NFS or The Crew series.

They need to expand the existing map. Like what the Crew Motorfest is doing. The Rally Adventure map should have been connected to the mainland
Like the South Central add-on from Midnight Club LA, it was tacked onto
the base map upon purchase. You were actually able to drive there.
We need true next gen game and more than 12 players in the race.
His voice sounds like a kinder version of WhiteLight
Honestly, quality of life changes would be so much more welcomed than the 900th car. How about custom license plates by us states, and different countries, decals on windows, the ability to change the wheels on a downloaded tune, or add some stickers to a downloaded livery etc. But my biggest request would be the addition of some eventlabs into the multiplayer roster of tracks. Eventlabs such as the Edel circuit or the Marchenhaft Bergpass.
Things FH6 needs:
1: A good map with a modern city!
@@simeonyves5940 Just don't release it on Xbox One! And for the story, they just can not include bad words and anything sexual and it will be PEGI 3!

I'm not really sure about that.
I usually gift away duplicates that are expensive.
Personally, this is a long time coming on mentioning the fact that location means a lot to the game. FH5 set in Mexico didn’t interest me, due to having Australia back on FH3. What can truly win me and possibly a lot of people, is having Japan as the feature location. Car culture is practically engrained for them, that it became a video game franchise in the aughts.
i'd rather they just add a city post launch than add any number of cars and temporary map changes.
No. That sounds exactly right. A nice long campaign with satisfying and rewarding progression that adds value to the cars.
There are reports that a new Forza will arrive at the end of 2025, especially now that FH4 will leave stores…

the map really needs a sort of overhaul. its so dry and plain and dull, FH4 and FH3 maps were infinitely better with more variety and were way more fun. hell even if they just added a portal mode or a cool animation using the plane at the main festival where you could fly back to previous maps, sorta like TDU2 and re adding hawaii via an airport
5:20 what I do is I wait until December to get rid of my cars since they have the secret Santa during the holiday season, and I just gift them all away. I know this doesn't solve the problem since they are still sitting around in your garage for 11 months but at least it let's duplicates serve a purpose
I absolute love your Love vide Ultra Violet
I wonder if the servers are gonna go to shit when it gets ported to PS5 like FH4 did with Steam.
Great question, all depends on if it will still run on Microsoft’s back end, or Sonys. Either way the port is surely inevitable
@@UltraViolet_Moses Given Microsofts Servers are Currently run by Ubisoft (Divesting the Servers to a Neutral Third Party was the only way to get the British Government to Ok Microsofts Purchase of Activision) it will Probably be run on Ubisoft's back end.
we need 1 through 4 combined with aspects of each, but basically nothing from 5 besides overall size
no problem keep up the good work. i love these videos
i cannot believe this man is not reached 1 million subs
far too early to even think about that honestly
I'm happy how it is bc I've been gone a whole while and now there new stuff
The golden age of forza is long over since the fm3-4 and fh1-3 era. Time to switch to new things that's starting their own golden era. I'm wating for carx street's release on pc soon. hype!
With forza drying out in recent times I have just moved on too assetto corsa, hopefully this franchise comes back as something better in the next installment, I still played forza after the launch of three, but with the amount time that has past between the launch of 4, to the current day of five. I have lost all hype for forza, really wish it can give me the charm it did back when I played during horizon 1
Ultra has an angelic voice with a philosophical mindest! KEEP IT UP! 🔥🔥🔥
If they would bring back fh1 map, they should also bring back soundtrack, which is the best racing soundtrack of all time imo
You have Described, Perfectly, why FOMO Mechanics need to be made *illegal* !
seriously im hoping in the next update or in horizon 6 they could let you change the menu to multiple seasonal updates that had been through.
Not that I think it would happen (or at least not without severe compromises), but if we’re talking pie-in-the-sky, moonshot-level ideas for the future of the Horizon series, I’d like to see them do something really crazy:
Go to outer space.
If they didn't add the Singer my dream car in the next game I'll be mad.
I think you should try Asphalt Legends: Unite
My problem with fh5 os the the map is irredeemably boring and that just cannot be fixed, we need a completely new map, a different location whatever. I cannot see how this map could ever be fixed apart from maybe generating anoter 3 times the size of the current one since the current map definitely sint handmade for most of it anyways
ON & OFF switch ghosted in the lobby
If its Japan, I walk. Simple as.
I love the music in the video
We just need a tdu2 remaster tbh
Idc who makes it just someone make a massive map with car collection at heart and a playable progression system
They should expand the existing map. Like the crew motorfest. The Rally Adventure map should have been connected to the mainland
@@simeonyves5940 i had a feeling that was the issue
@@ld9387 Yup, the Engine is getting rather long in the Tooth, but, sadly, with the "F-Tech" Engine designed to replace it being borderline non-Functional, I Fear the old Engine may have to be used again for FH6, as, at least it works, unless PGG can convince Microsoft to let them use Unreal Engine 5.
It would be crazy if FH6 takes place in Hong Kong and they execute it way better than TDU Solar Crown.
I will Boycott it. NO to Communism!
Forza horizon 4 seasons were amazing for me (some pepole complained about winter, but if you use proper snow tires or cars with the snow symbol, it really is a cool experience.
i just want the next game to actually have some sort of proper progression, and no auction house
don’t lock cars behind the auction house for 20 mil just because i didn’t obsessively play the game for 1 week, let me unlock the cars by progressing through the game! not that weekly limited time garbage, i wanna be able to actually sell my cars too, the way Forza handles this is worse than any racing game ive ever played
would also be great if we didn’t have the best cars 10 minutes in, let us start from the bottom and progress, give an actual reason to play the game
Tbh horizon need a soft reboot
I would like to see the ability to select from my available tunes when I select a car in the car chooser menu .
I wish they fixed the AI, like yo.... no way a mini cooper just hits mach 2 going up the mountain in a dirt race.... a A800 class race,
I would like for real progression to return to the franchise.
Fh6 needs to bring back private party’s
I think it might be a hide and seek or prop hunt type of game mode
@@simeonyves5940 ah i see, terrible shame
@@SillyKlaus For me it is a thank goodness, as I am not a fan of Police Chases, Dank Urban Maps nor Street Racing, but I do understand why it is a massive shame for those who Do like that kind of Game.
Honestly FH5 is a really good game I don't mind it going on for another year. Hope I can still play it after the servers will be shut down but let's be real it'll die at that exact moment and all my time will have been wasted from that point onwards lol
i bought the premium edition thinking id get any dlc car for free, but these car packs dont count so what was the point?
We need an actual built from the ground up rework for modern consoles only. Any changes they do shouldn't be for that season it should just be permanent additions. Improve the festival experience i want nfs prostreet style organized race events. Then, after said race events just do the outside the festival unorganized racing that people are doing with a personal garage to store and display your vehicles.
Can't wait for new test drive unlimited assay
the fact that fh6 will guaranteedly be exclusive to the new consoles means that I, a xbox one player, am in great danger (and no, pc is not a viable option in my case)
Hopefully something that is not Built from the Ground Up, like T10 did, im Glad Playground and T10 are not the same
I honestly do think that with TDUSC being in 1:1 scale Hong Kong has a huge effect on Forza Horizon 6…
Yes that sounds reasonable but I think solar crown will flop hard we will see
