@@BrandonPilotto I wasn’t in the band, they are all just some of my best friends and I was also their piercer back in the 90’s/early 2000’s. There were a few lineup changes. On the first album “A Dynasty is Born” it was Rowe lead vocals, Marshall bass/backup vocals, Gary guitar, Todd drums, and Squiggy on the turntables. Shortly after, they replaced Gary with J Rooney on lead guitar and added Eric Ellis (who went on to be in Bury Your Dead and now in federal prison). OBC is still around, but the only OG members are Rowe and Marshall. Squiggy does some stuff with Loud Wire, there are a few videos on their channel where he is the host. Also, after they added J and Eric, they also added Mickey as the “button pusher” So, if you watch the Evolution or a Dream video, Rowe is singing, Marshal on Bass, J is playing the green Les Paul with a bandanna over his face, Eric has the dreads, Todd on drums, Squiggy one the turntables, and Mickey just being weird 😂
@@BrandonPilotto there weren’t many coming out of Jacksonville at that time with the same style, but of course Cold was a great band that came from Jacksonville at that time, you had Endo from Miami, they were really good friends of ours and toured Ozfest for a couple years back then. The only video I’ve seen on RUclips that isn’t completely negative about Limp Bizkit. Was a fan when I was a pre-teen. Never knew Fred was around the same age as my mom. Always figured he was early 20’s when I’d see him in mtv.
“Seen the Netflix documentary Trainwreck?” HELL NO, I saw the Woodstock shenanigans LIVE on MTV! 🤣🤣 That’s how old I am. I loved Limp Bizkit. Had no idea they once opened for Faith No More but that makes sense as FNM were seen as the forerunners of nü-metal. God, I miss the ‘90s. What a time to be alive.

He may not have been able to see much from the Woodstock stage but he did start crowd surfing on the wooden boards which I'm sure didn't help calm the crowd down. Fame clearly went to his head much too fast and he burned out as a result. I do wish him the best with his health though, I know that he and the music did play a big role in people's lives during that time
isnt it funny that freds antics are nothing compared to celebs now like kanye west coming out with his hitler support or the travis scott concert where EIGHT people died. compared to the three that died at woodstock and can't be attributed to just one artist
In year 2000, I really wanted their new CD. My mom was adamant about not purchasing it for me. I was 14 & the album had a parental advisory sticker on it. I ended up having to steal it. Only thing I’ve ever stolen 😳 worth it.

Fred is definitely hated more than he should be, because he is a good dude, but feel into the "character" he created, otherwise I got no problem with him. Also, limp bizkit as a band, so goddamn underrated
Like him or not (I loved LB) he's a VERY talented and smart business man. The craziness concert I've ever been to was Limp Bizkit, Godsmack and DMX. I was only a teenager. Wild times.
Yeah, really wild. Nothing says rebellion and crazy like some corporate financed concert featuring 3 “artists” that have since become symbols of how abysmal rock and rap became and how listless and easily satisfied your average teenager was during the late 90’s.

Just because you’re proud doesn’t mean people won’t laugh at you. It’s so weird that people think that having pride is the concretization of legitimacy. That band sucks whether you regard that fact or ignore it; whether you’re proud of your pitiful taste in music or not. Reality isn’t optional and isn’t magically blocked or attenuated by how proud you happen to be.

I don't know much about who limp Bizkit was, but I do know one of their songs which is one of my faves, even though it is a cover - behind blue eyes. Even tho that song had been memed to death , I still like it cuz it is comforting for me.

Also, after they added J and Eric, they also added Mickey as the “button pusher”
So, if you watch the Evolution or a Dream video, Rowe is singing, Marshal on Bass, J is playing the green Les Paul with a bandanna over his face, Eric has the dreads, Todd on drums, Squiggy one the turntables, and Mickey just being weird 😂
@@BrandonPilotto there weren’t many coming out of Jacksonville at that time with the same style, but of course Cold was a great band that came from Jacksonville at that time, you had Endo from Miami, they were really good friends of ours and toured Ozfest for a couple years back then. There was 8-Up which was Dee Peacock’s band. I’ll try to remember some others
I introduced to my nephew some of my favorite LB songs. That band still rocks. I hope that Fred gets all the help that he needs. Get better Fred.
Praying for your nephew. What you’ve done is tantamount to child abuse.
To give “still sucks” a bit of credit for only reaching 155 in the billboard 200 it only ever got an online release! Streaming and iTunes only. I’m not saying it would have ever hit the top 10 or anything but i imagine if it got a physical release as well on cd and vinyl it would have charted a bit higher than it did. I personally love LB! It’s clear that Fred is playing a character when on stage or in the studio and that away from that he is an intelligent and well mannered dude who is funny and cares about people and his fans :)
Limp Bizkit still killing it today. They sound better then ever, still touring.
Fred and Wes are an incredible songwriting duo!!
Just saw them last weekend live. Honestly probably one of the best shows I'm ever going to see, such a fkn hype!
Limp bizkit peak was definitely late 90's and 2000 but after Wes left the band they we're never the same
So they went from incredibly bad to somehow worse?

The only video I’ve seen on RUclips that isn’t completely negative about Limp Bizkit. Was a fan when I was a pre-teen. Never knew Fred was around the same age as my mom. Always figured he was early 20’s when I’d see him in mtv.
He keeps rollin' rollin' rollin' and breaking sh@t because he's doing things my way or the highway.
Just saw him live last summer. His look through me off, but dude can still put on a show.
_Still Sucks_ is honestly a phenomenal return album.
No
It is better than Gold Cobra. Though that's not much of a high bar.
Maaaan... being a teen back then was something else. Subculture clash was nuts back then! You definitely had to be there and live it
“Seen the Netflix documentary Trainwreck?” HELL NO, I saw the Woodstock shenanigans LIVE on MTV! 🤣🤣 That’s how old I am.
I loved Limp Bizkit. Had no idea they once opened for Faith No More but that makes sense as FNM were seen as the forerunners of nü-metal. God, I miss the ‘90s. What a time to be alive.
Love Limp Bizkit still listen to him in the gym to this day. Been listening for 20 years and I'm still rolling! Keep rolling and creamer are the best.
Still love Limp Bizkit, "Break Stuff" is still my go-to song when I'm angry. I live in Jax & think about the band every time I drive over the Matthews Bridge.
They released an album in 2011 and 3 singles between then and 2014 while continuing to tour right up until covid before the Still Sucks album dropped. 20 year hiatus is a bit of a reach
I was going to say the same thing.
Yep fucking skipped a bunch of lb history..
I sold off most of my CD collection over a decade ago, but among the few I kept, Limp Bizkit's remained :) Cool to hear about the rest of the stuff he did after music!
Wow that’s a massive nostalgia kick
thanks for watching!

I know, right!!! I used to listen to his one album "Signifcant Other" from 1999, when I was in my senior year. I ❤️ Limp Bizkit.
Yeah, but it ignores the fact that even at the height of its popularity limp bizkit was a joke to every serious music fan.
Fred Astaire was in the man in the Santa Claus suit 1979 with Bert convy Gary brughoff john byner directed by Corey Allen
Got to see Bizkit on their Still Sucks tour during May of this year. Fred is a true entertainer and I truly hope he’s gonna be ok! The world needs you man!
Omg you guys never fail. This was a great person to make a video about 🎉❤
Limp Bizkit is one of the top bands for me. I still love listening to them. I don't care if it's trendy to hate them or Nickleback.
As someone who doesn't know much about Limp Bizkit, this was a good introduction and give me a little more respect for them.
Actually he got almost everything wrong and if you respect that band you disrespect music. They were/are absolutely awful.

The one and only time ever I got through the hotline on TRL, I requested to see Green Jello''s Three Little Pigs, because it never got played enough
Love this video. I did much want to see them this year. But hopefully they can come back out soon
In year 2000, I really wanted their new CD. My mom was adamant about not purchasing it for me. I was 14 & the album had a parental advisory sticker on it. I ended up having to steal it. Only thing I’ve ever stolen 😳 worth it.
Man I love Fred Durst
I still have all of their albums in my CD book 🤘🏻🔥
I was definitely a big Limp biscuit fan when I was in high school And I graduated in 03 Also there's an unrelease song with him And Eminem Call Turn me loose you can find it on RUclips
Two sad, empty wiggers united. What a blessing.
Been a big fan of Limp Bizkit since I was 8 Years Old. Still listen 2 they're songs 2 this very. Oh I'm a 90's baby!
Just because you grew up in 90’s doesn’t mean you like limp bizkit. Let’s be real clear on that.
What's funny is that "Durst" means thirst in German so combined with the water issues at Woodstock 99 makes this quite ironic
Legendary band. Crazy albums. I've allways loved their tracks, and i will allways do.
Ben Stiller is still looking for his Bentley.
I was on 3rd or 4th grade when i first heard limb bizkit. Still blasting it from time to time to this day
Fred is definitely hated more than he should be, because he is a good dude, but feel into the "character" he created, otherwise I got no problem with him. Also, limp bizkit as a band, so goddamn underrated
It’s not underrated. It was a genuinely terrible band.
Just saw them in Tampa and my boys are still Rollin" Rollin' Rollin'...
Popole love to hate on fred and the band but even the biggest haters will admit the man has changed the game and is one of the best live performers out there.
been a hardcore fan since 9th grade and still am at age 36. they're still my favorite, fred is still my biggest idol, not just for the music he created but also for the huge passion he brings to the table.
still sucks is an awesome album and i cant wait for more new material from them.
LIMP BIZKIT 4 LIFE.
it's really sad to see that because you know they were all bumping his music until it became "cool" to mock him ...I'll always be a fan of his because I met rap and metal fans and got lots of friends though that who normally wasn't hanging with each other
The fanatic is legitimately too amazing to be missed. What an amazing train wreck.
One of the worst bands. One of the worst movies. He now has to write one of the worst novels and paint one of the worst paintings to complete the great circle of his life’s work.
I like this trip down memory lane, but too bad that you didn't cover album Gold Cobra, songs such as Endless Slaughter and Stampede of the Disco Elephants supposed album which eventually turned to be StillSucks.
Whilst his music may not to be to everybody's taste, myself being more of an old school heavy metal fan, but I do like a few of Bizkits song, Fred has shown us all that he is a man of many talents and I wish him well.
Nope. His bands and movies are reprehensibly bad. Hated them as a kid, still do.
im from germany and theyre actually going to perform by the end of march in munich after it got delayed august last year. its my dads favourite band and although he cant come with me im very happy to go there and see them soon!!!
Fred Durst was just the kind of guy that I instinctively dislike.
Yes
I’m forever a limp Bizkit fan and am proud to admit it! Nu metal forever!
@@MaximusWolfe Who pissed all over your bed this morning?
Don't have much time to watch this I gotta pooo !
Literally listening to Limp earlier this AM
Ohh the good old Woodstock 99... just beautifull! Nowadays something like that would never happened. This generation is too clean and safe for something like the prime days of angst and Limp Bizkit...
I was decidedly *not* a fan of Limp Bizkit, but I am happy for him finding his groove. Still trying to do that, so I know how hard fought that shit can be.
cool story, cool time, cool music, but he’s still fan of putins russia.
I saw them at the milk bar a few times before they even had a name lol. They always rocked that hole in the wall.
I giggled at his stuff when I was a teen but now when I try to listen to him I genially feel myself getting dumber
wigger metal still sucks. No way to spruce it up.
forget the numbers, the shame, the hate. This is my generation which i used to hate but in truth I miss... Limp Bizkit for life.
Bizkut still sucks!!! :(
Correct
Breathe in and breathe out, hands up now hands down, back up back up tell me whatcha wanna do now
Terrible lyrics, shitty music, abysmal genre.
I saw them live in Poland Warsaw back in 2011. They were great.
Sorry to hear that. It should be a criminal offense to use the word great in reference to limp bizkit.
Unpopular opinion.... I don't care I CAN'T stand him 😒
Nor I
I was born in 02 but a massive wrestling fan and I remember undertaker coming out to rolling and I was hooked ever since watching the break stuff vid at Woodstock. Cant wait to see limp bizkit in November let’s gooooo
What happened to Fred durst?
Who cares aS long as he's gone
Correct
It’s just one of those days, when ya don’t wanna wake up…
……or listen to limp bizkit
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say MOST don’t care. as long as he’s not relevant we’re happy.

The funniest thing is that this band was just a comedy band without a gimmick yet still sold music lol
Great episode! But just to add that you missed to mention their fifth album Gold Cobra from 2011.
To this day their songs roll through my brain every other day.
I freaking love Fred durst limo bizkit is one of my favorites always will be ❤
Can't wait to see them in July.
Still no updates on his health so hopefully it was OK. Miss seeing them tour. Always a great show.
Fred has re-ivneted Limp Bizkit. He can still sing unlike most of the 90's bands who have lost it.
My last comment... Needs to be expounded upon... We here in Jacksonville Florida ,are more proud of the fact that the girl he sang about in the song nookie is from here, than we are of Fred being from here.
They channelled my rage, and I will forever love the line íts all about the he said she said bullshit"'. I channel that line all the fucking time.
Honestly “Ready to Go” was my jam for 5 years 🙈😂 I screamed “Red Hat to the Back Like Fred Durst” at the top of my lungs in the car foreverrr
Not one mention of this song at all in this entire video.. it was a badass song..
Fred is from Gastonia, NC. The fact that he did anything, is amazing considering he's from Gastonia. If you've traveled through one street in Gastonia, you've seen all of Gastonia.
I have family in Charlotte, Concord and Asheville and travel the state extensively. Your comment nearly made me shoot Dr. Pepper out of my nose. So true.
I don't know much about who limp Bizkit was, but I do know one of their songs which is one of my faves, even though it is a cover - behind blue eyes. Even tho that song had been memed to death , I still like it cuz it is comforting for me.
The Mission Impossible 2 soundtrack was incredible 🎸
Three Dollar Bill Yall is TO THIS DAY an amazing album. I played the crap out of it back when I was 17, and I still do (though to a much lesser degree) now in my 40s. If anything "nu metal" could be PERFECT. That album right there would be it. I CANT STAND their later albums. But Three Dollar Bill Yall will forever be a top 10 for me. Pollution in particular is what that whole genre should sound like.
