- Learn how to make the new Captain America Shield from the new Marvel Disney+ show, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. This shield was super fun to make and I hope this tutorial helps you all with your own DIY project!

1. EVA foam (I used 8mm foam for the main disc and 6mm for the back trim and brackets).

Awesome work! One of the easiest and nicest looking DIY shields I have seen! Can't wait to work on one!
Little tip for the line down the shield: Maybe try something like wood filler to fill that line. Its easy to use and easy to sand smooth. That might hide the seam. Hopefully that works.

The shield looks awesome, well done bro
I built mine from the 60cm floor matts and put them together snd used foam clay to fill the seams so it’s 65cm aids instead of 60 and I love it
The way you could improve yours is by rounding the edge of the shield since that allows it to fly better when thrown but that’s only if you like throwing it a lot

What’s the measurement of the section you cut out to “dome” the shield? Awesome job, by the way!
The short edge of that triangle that I cut out should be about about 1 inch to 1.5 inches. It really depends on how much of a dome you prefer. I would start with 1 inch and if you feel you need more, you can cut more.

Hello, I wanted to ask you, what are the measurements between the white and red bars and the total diameter of the shield?
The total diameter is 23 inches. The width of each stripe is 2.25 inches.
can you make Captain america ww2 shield also can i use cardboard to make this
How durable is it, would it be a good idea to use it for a fight video or no?
It is pretty durable and because it's foam, it's fairly safe to throw as long as you're not knocking things over lol. If you abuse it, it will definitely get some wear and scratches on it, but if you're careful, it should be alright!
