The X on your watch killed me!!😂😂😂🤣🤣
Oh and the Spam.....
That means its a RolX…. or a TimeX !! LOL!
Yah it's hilarious
RolX Xplorex
Mike McCoy you know it. 👌
Anyone else see the tin of spam on the workbench at 8:34?
Seems like an unlikely "product placement"! :-)
0:30 right side on the bench
It looks edit in. It is two sharply in focus compared to everything else.
Ha ha yes I spotted that too. Also a Starbucks coffee cup in another recent video. I love how he’s trolling the people accusing him of product placement.
@@ErikOrdway1984 - He has thrown in several items like that recently. I think he just does it for fun. Last one I noticed was a bottle of Red LocTite.
Brand X can use Milwaukee batteries? Cool!
X brand has thought of everything,
I love the content when Cody takes RUclips comments seriously. 😁👍
i'm addicted, more video PLEASE! i bought as of today 4 lockable brake casters, red loctite, 7 threaded long rods, 21 2 x 4's by 8' , $99.00 vise 6"(homedepot) , i am going to make 2" heavy duty pipe and flanges to match all threaded for the stand & cross brace oil painted in black. i told my girlfriend & showed her your video why i was spending all this money to make a garage(mancave) heavy duty work bench. she APPROVED SO THANK YOU VERY MUCH. SUBBED TO YOUR CHANNEL .👊👍
One of the best dad jokes from when I was a kid: "Dad, what is SPAM made of?" "It's made from little SPAM animals, of course!" I always pictured little chicken-sized reptiles like you see in Jurrasic Park. Nice subtle placement!
No spiders were harmed in the making of this film. 😄 4:46
and still it rains...
This video is sponsored by Spam, SPAM® “miracle in a can".
Spam can 6:29 lol
excellent substitute for locktite
I was wondering what it was doing there. I guess I'm having Hawaiian for dinner. Spam n' eggs!

Spam, spam, spam, spam, baked beans and spam.
You have fake news and then fake meat, spam can?
UncleDave
Screw the people that prioritize using the brands you like as a sponsor type video, the people that know and love you and your channel know that you dont sponsor products you dont like or know that works. I appreciate the fact you tell us all the information about the products you use good or bad because that helps me as a builder myself eliminate the problems of trial-and-error in hardware and other things when i want to build things myself, thank you so much for your hard work you are very much appreciated and keep up the great work thank you!!!!!
I appreciate you Cody! I'm studying a carpenter's course and you have helped me out alot just hearing the terms of the items you use is a life saver I'm learning how to use my tools efficiently and I'm loving it. Thank you for helping me decide what I want to be in life. God bless
@@davidkirkpatrick712 okay I will take a look thanks.
@@davidkirkpatrick712 And possibly Paul Sellers and Robin Clevett
@@davidkirkpatrick712 Agree with you on that.
Should place the drawer more in the middle cause if you're sitting at the vice area you wouldn't bump your knees off of it 😊😊😊 have a wonderful day
I always pronounce it as "roof." Hope this helps.
😂 nice
I'm the opposite, I always pronounce it "roof", each to there own
it doesnt, because it's the same way as its written omfg ( -.-)'
I think that a rolling cabinet that you could sit on would be better than a drawer. The drawer contents would bang around when you start hammering.
Really man don't be a sellout brand x tools aren't even that good
I grew up using brand X. They're the best thing since sliced bread. Heck, they're the best thing since UNSLICED bread.
I usually don't have a problem with my brand X tools, but on those few occasions I do, I know I can swap them out for new ones when the brand X truck comes to the shop. Their lifetime guarantee / no questions asked policy can't be beat!
take an English and spelling class.
@@scottmclerran3621 How much did they pay you to say this? Brand X must be really desperate if they pay random commenters.
This comment was sent from a brand X device.
@@toddmiller3490 there, their, they're... i have corrected my mistake. Now the grammar Nazis can rest easy.
That "Goodbye, papa" at the end was so heartwarming
And a visit from the sweetloaf ,that warms your heart right there! ❤️😊
6:39 love the spam XD
Can't tell you how cool it has been watching the loaf and Jack grow up these past few years. Such a gift. Thanks.
Did you see that spider come out of the box of lag bolts? 4:48. Good fun that!
Was tiny, not worth the rewind thanks!!
@@citizenshan2118 Yeah, it's a shame you had to rewind and fast forward thru all that film... I hope you remembered to rewind the video at the end at least! BE KIND, REWIND!
Aaron Williams wow, you watch closely/ took me 5 times before I saw it
I was abut to say that too
@4:21, I was crying laughing at the "brand X" on the box of bolts but when I noticed your watch I just freakin died!!
Lmao cody's level of passive aggresive trolling is astounding.
I seen a Sharpie name on the marker, you have obviously sold out to Sharpie! ;)
How do you think I paid for brand X watch?
Nice setup on the bench and hearing the baby say bye bye papa at the end was too precious.
I worked at a shop a few years ago. The bench the old owner made had 3 heights. About 6 feet of a good height for sitting down with a chair. About 12 feet of about belly-button height for stand up work and about 6 feet of about mid chest height. I was amazed how much time I stood up at the highest level doing finicky small engine work. Excellent height for seeing exactly what I was working on without being bent over a low bench
Love the bench build. I would consider some cross bracing for the legs just to stop any racking
I think he mentioned building something for that in an earlier video.
I thought the same thing... I could imagine how heavy that table top must be. Don’t want that thing to come crashing down. dangerous!
@@ezerish - Yes, he did, I imagine it is going to be in a later video. He still needs to mount the drill press and bench grinder too, so it isn't near over.
What about adding a third leg in the middle? That's a long span.
@@Brian-Burke I feel like the top is pretty strong so I don't worry too much about the span. Those legs just have a narrow top so any sideways force creates a lot of leverage.
Nothing like 10 videos for one work bench !

Came-together very nicely! - Our littles have been sick for the past few days. My wife can sure relate to how Mrs W is feeling @10:45. It's hard not to feel terrible for them, knowing exactly how they're feeling.
4:59 What a shot though!
Goodbye papa at the end is awesome. She's so smart and knows what she is doing. I have a feeling she's the BOSS around the house. Lol
You have the sweetest little girl, may God bless your family. I've been watching this channel since 2014 and I had to create a new account because I made a new email and it's so nice watching everyone grow up.
I think its time for a sarcastic aviator sunglasses mean comment video.
Absolutely its been a while
+1
Agree.
agreed! gotta address those haters every once in a while
Cool & precious family... Yah bless this family!
Spider @ 4:50
"Man! that was my house!"
Nice bench and I respect you for reading comments because most people who get one million subscribers don’t read comments at all so thanks
Thank you kash, glad to have you here,
The sweet loaf is looking all grown up today, what a blessing. Thanks for sharing, I've been enjoying this series even though I've already built my bench. It's a mix of a Rubo and a Paul Sellers, I call it the Rubella. May our father continue to bless you all.
Most of your long time viewers know you don't believe in just one brand you give all of them a fair chance don't listen to all the haters you put out good content and inspired me to make this bench just as soon as I can get rid of my old one. Keep up the good content
That bit at the end with your family is too darn wholesome. It could melt the iciest heart.
Greetings from Belfast Northern Ireland.
I’m just starting up woodwork as a hobby. This series and the one regarding affordable tools have been a real goldmine of useful information. So thank you for all your help. I’m looking forward to your next videos.
Keep up the good work.
Your troll game is impeccable. Lol. Just great Cody.
I've been watching Wranglerstar since the old days and I'm really happy to see that it's still there and even getting better. God bless you!
Ha, when I saw the watch w/ an X on in in the last video at the end I thought it was a game. I guessed time X lol
I fully expected you to edit in a "Hallelujah" clip when the bench finally "touched down" on the floor. Finally, after stinging us along for a couple of weeks, we have the finished bench! Thanks. :-)
I love your dig at the trolls with the “brand X” thing 😂 I for one like to see the brands of tools you’re using in your videos so I hope you don’t troll the trolls for too long 😀
I go through most RUclips videos at 2x speed Wranglerstar, but I put it back to real-time for the ending here. Great to see your family. Your daughter is of a similar age to mine. Please try to involve them more in future vids!
Great video! I noticed the can of Spam, what's everyone's opinion on Spam, love it or hate it?
Love it.
spam musubi and saimin are life!
the spam can at 6:47 XD
I love to see that you have the swedish "Dalahäst" on your shelf 😍 9:09. Grettings from Sweden!
4:45 bug crawls across table. Wranglerstar is not afraid. 💪
I really like The idea of grandpas old layout. God bless
Nice job on the workbench. I worked professionally in a wood shop for many years and the workbench was great. It was a big one 4' feet wide and 8' feet long and skimmed with a full sheet of 3/4" MDF. So after 6 months of abuse we would just unbolt it and the vice and slap a new sheet of MDF and its good as new.
Hahaha What about you Heartracer? The look on that dog's face! "Stay here with him or brave the rain?...Yeah...See ya..."
I am truly sorry for your loss. You,and your family will be in our prayers.
swedish "dalahästar" on the ledge !? NICE ! ;) 09:09
Oh boy have i been waiting for this video, bought loctite today by the way👍🏼
Lol the brand X passive aggressiveness is one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. Great video again brother.
I've had some very painful experiences with drawers under workbenches. How about a nice dovetail box that can sit on top of the bench to hold the current project parts and pieces. You could make a couple of handles to put on the top - ends.
The new lighting is awesome. Loved the last shot of Heartracer walking out of the frame. Thanks for the blessings, right back at you.
I’m really digging your sarcasm/troll game lately. I literally laugh out loud every time that Loctite bottle floats across the screen!
Anyone else see the small spider fall out of the box at 4:47? Must be the Brand X spider, their mascot checking on quality control!
Hello from Romania! I learnt a lot from you and I watched almost all your videos. I discovered your channel a few month ago and you rock! I live in a big city but I dream to a life in country side.
This is by far my favorite RUclips channel since I found it a couple of weeks ago.
And a happy ending with Mrs.W and the sweetloaf out for a visit... some of the best moments a man can have in his workday
Yes the spam was I nice little something to catch your eye! I am very happy to watch you in action. YOU seem like such a good man. Please keep these video's coming. I learn every time I watch you. Thanks again and as always, Keep walking with the KING!! May YHWY continue to bless you and your family! Ya'll are true AMERICANS
@ 4:50 a 🕷 took the opportunity to escape .. 😆
I can just imagine the Brand X being on heartracer as he walks away at the end🤣
Awesome to see the workbench "work" again Cody!
4:48 Run little buddy! RUN!!!! You can make it! 4:54 SQUISH! Guess not.....
I appreciate the sarcasm immensely!
Thank you for re-spreading the knowledge that has been lost over generations! I enjoy the vids and am learning a lot from you as well.
For a good source of knowledge that has been lost over generations check out the Foxfire series of books.
Dovetail work would be wonderful, looking forward to it!
I love Cody's humor
2:30 btw, this just might be the first official use of the workbench! you are using the workbench to make itself! ;)
Texas guys we would have used half as many lags but with loctite.
@@JohnnyUmphress hahahahaha
Don't know if you reload, a basic reloading bench would be a nice addition. Especially with Oregon's upcoming Draconian Laws ... III%
+1 I am building this to double as a reload bench as well and would appreciate that.
Oregon has new pew pew laws? Details?
To use a british phrase That bench is the dog bollocks, which is good! Really looking forward to the next video especially making the draw pull. Ive so enjoyed this series👍
I love the careful and actual product placement with the brand X tape. :D You were never so careful to make sure the branding was visible until you obscured the branding!
And the spam! :D
Love the humor in this vid.
You nailed that intro Cody.
7:51 smooth
For future reference, a "2 x 4" we all know is actually 1-1/2" x 3-1/2", so really it should be called a "2 X Rogan". And, of course, it takes 21 2xRogans to make a proper workbench. ....And for those who may not know..... it takes exactly 28 Rogans to make an actual stud, conversely Rogan is 1/28th of a stud.....which sounds about right.
Great video wranglerstar
The spam was a nice touch
Drawers are a total good idea for the bench. Very very useful.
Great!.. Now he's going to be sponsored by brand X. Good grief! 😂😂😂 Love it Cody! Never a dull moment on this channel.
Planning on building a forever shed with my sons, we are going to build this work table as well. Thanks for all you do, you are real RUclips sensation
My God, I love his videos cause I'm a big DIY myself. And on top of it, the scenes with the little kids ... wow, a very nice human touch that warm my heart every times!!! BIG Tks,
4:47 SPIDER!!!!
Really really cool shot with the sliding camera when you were screwing the lag bolts into the table. Also personally I think the people who complain about “placed advertising” is stupid, I love to see what tools you use and don’t use and I know you don’t get money and I don’t know why I would care if you got money for putting brand names in your videos. It makes sense that you use tools and that those tools have brands which are in the video. Just my opinion but either way your videos are great and I’m excited for more 👍
Hello, the quick visit from the love ones was great ,even the heart racer, that’s a great name for a pet.
It’s total ASMR watching you work on this bench, very relaxing, I don’t know why. The end made me smile, you are a lucky man. Hey wait! You left your pressure washer out in the rain?!
Thanks for this series... going to start mine.
Love the SPAM can on the work bench! Only a west coast guy would do that! lol
Good eye!! I missed it the first watch. Haha
Man, I love your sense of humor! :o)
When I saw that he X'd out his watch face, that made me laugh out loud. Thanks for the great videos.
She’s an absolute delight I bet she brings nothing but joy and happiness to your family and your home god bless to you and your hole family.
The hand-cut dovetails remind me of a conversation about a particular idaho "off grid" build recently haha.
Nice to see a bench build that the average DIY home owner can tackle. I've seen so many of these builds that just boggle the mind in their cost and complexity, requiring a level of skill that is way beyond my meager ability, along with tools and machinery that I would have to mortgage my house to purchase, (even if I did know how to use them). Sometimes all you need is something simple and sturdy to pound on.
The shop lighting is beautiful today
A great ending to this video. I always appreciate your blessing to me at the end of each video and feel connected to you and yours. Seeing the Sweetloaf, Mrs W, and Heartracer was a bonus.
Cody, I hope you put some cross bars on the legs in the back. Otherwise even bolted to the floor, it won't take a lot of pressure to knock it over sideways.
Love the drawer idea. Also, where's the mandatory dual bench grinder/polisher? Maybe 2 drawers, one for each of the mounted devices.
Power cord runs? Access hole/notch to run power?
Keep up the great work Cody!
The subtleties in editing are funny.
