  • Hey everyone and welcome to this video where I open up Studio One version 6.5 and for the first time and take new Dolby Atmos plugin for a spin on my own film "Cobrazilla" which is an hour long monster/action film in the style of The Meg and Sharknado movies all done on the Iphone with Unreal Engine backgrounds. I am going to try some of the basic features of the plug in, along with the amazing sound fx library Soundly, and use it on a short action sequence from the film and talk about my thoughts on the plug in as well. I will be making 2 more parts to this featuring a scene with fighter jets and another scene with a car chase as well so if you are interested consider subscribing to my channel to get those updates as well as some more bts scenes on all of the post production involved in my film.

Go to soundly.com and download a plug-in from them called soundly monitor. Then open it as a vst in pro tools while having soundly open and it should automatically connect. Once connected, anything you play through soundly will monitor through that pro tools channel.

That's cool bro its lot of work for a few seconds of video, I loaded the 6.5 was blow away by the Atmos features and binurial mode of course I don't have the funds for 9 more monitors yet. But your little video sound design shows the potential of Atmos in video audio productions great video thanks for the info and the inspiration to try to mix in Atmos so when I win the lottery and buy 9 more monitors and a bigger space for a Dolby Atmos studio 😂😆
