Chris stapleton sometimes I cry (live at the bing lounge) really shows of Chris stapletons vocal ability. It's amazing and it has some rock undertones with the rasp in his voice so it will be right up your guys alley.
Definitely The Austin City limits version. Normally, live versions suck, but the audio quality of the ACL version is awesome and anyone can make magic in the studio. The live Austin city version shows Chris' talent and ability to do it just as well (or better) live with the added benefit of actually watching the magic happen.
The man cannot go wrong. Could sing anything and I would hang on every word and chills would take me over. Love that you guys have discovered him and enjoy it so much. I saw him not long ago open for the Eagles....a night I will never forget.
Stapleton was in a rockband...the Jompson Brothers...look up Ride my Rocket...he was also in a bluegrass band, the Steeldrivers, look up Where Rainbows Never Die!!!
This guy can't be labeled as country, blues, or whatever. He is his own genre of music. Dude doesn't have a bad song. It's rare to find a single album that you can just put on and let play without having to skip over a few junk tracks but, not with Chris. All 3 of his albums are filled with great songs like this. Everyone who does reactions have done the same handful of songs requested by their "fans" but I believe you guys are the first to react to this song. If you want another one that nobody else has done, try " Last thing I needed, First Thing This Morning ". Personally, one of my favorites. Thanks guys! Enjoy!
Oh my, you guys are so fun to watch! I really enjoyed both your Chris Stapleton vids. Did you know he also has a very talented wife? She’s the female harmony in Tennessee Whiskey and does pretty much all all his background vocals. Her name is Morgane and she and their soon to be 5 kids all travel with Chris. I’d love to see you guys to react to Morgane Stapleton doing their version of You Are My Sunshine. So amazing... their voices were made to sing together. ♥️ Again, you guys are great, sending love from Texas! 😊
I’m from Arkansas. Everyone listens to country. Let me tell you, Chris Stapleton is a whole other ballgame of talent🙌 Cody Johnson is pretty great too!
There’s an old saying in the country music industry, “Three chords and the truth”. That’s what you’re hearing right now, by one of the very best songwriters around.
I know ppl like his other songs but I think this is my favorite. I don’t listen to country, and probably would have never heard this, if not for this video. It’s a beautiful song. I can listen to it over and over. I don’t get tired of it. Thanks for this video!
His performance of "I Was Wrong " from Austin City Limits is really good. He was also in a bluegrass band called The Steeldrivers and a rock band called The Jompson Brothers. Plus he has good covers/tributes to Prince, Tom Petty, Al Green, Aretha Franklin and more. You can't go wrong with a Stapleton song! I've been a huge fan for years and seen him 6 or 7 times in concert and he is just as good live!
Just him and his guitar, stripped down and raw. It's the same for his performance of Sometimes I Cry at The Bing Lounge. This man puts emotion into every syllable and you feel it in your bones. Another song of his that is extremely atmospheric is Death Row. Goosebumps. I love seeing reactions where the song pulls the reactors in so much that they just have to sit and soak it in. This was that kind of reaction. That was awesome guys!
The most popular song in country music in the last 20 years has got to be wagon wheel by dauris Rucker. It's so simple and catchy that it has reached that place where songs like Stairway to heaven are. Where it's been banned in guitar shops.
In the beginning of song your faces looked like you were thinking of someone from the past. That's how you know it's a great song. It's one of my personal favorites by Chris.
Guys, give yourself more credit. A unique reaction is more than constant interruptions while saying absolutely nothing. You guys always have something insightful to say that’s relatable to everyone watching. Thanks again!
The performance at Austin City Limits is an excellent choice to choose from. He has the first 30 minutes of the show and any of the choices is worth listening to especially ( I Was Wrong ). Really enjoy your reactions. Update I myself have just discovered this absolutely amazingly talented man. 3 albums and this man has not 1 bad song. Just raw talent.
Chris Stapleton is an amazing musician and songwriter but his incomparable talent is with his ultimate instrument, his voice! There’s no one like him that I have been able to discover so far and I have several years in age on him and you guys! 😁
Love how you two sit there with your arms crossed , nodding your heads back and forth like you just can’t believe how good this guy is! Mr. Stapleton can render people speechless!
There are 2 artists who are setting the country world aflame and sitting country on it's ear outside of Stapleton. Jason Isbell is the finest songwriter working today, says John Mayer and many others. "If We Were Vampires" "Cover Me Up" and "24 Frames" are all super solid picks. The other is Sturgill Simpson who a good place to start is his psychedelic country opus "Turtles All the Way Down" "Oh Sarah" and "All Around You" are also super solid works.
I surprisingly hadn't heard this before now. It no joke brought tears to me. You just get lost in his honesty. It's like he paints a picture with emotions. 🙏
“Death Row “ you will feel it in your Bones and soul, Few words but they pack a huge punch. He is an amazing song writer and story teller. Love you guys.
This was my first introduction to the Amazing chri s Stapleton..I was totally blown away! Then heard Tennessee ,well the rest is history! I'm obsessed 🎸💙🎸💙 his voice is on another level 🙌🙌
I love getting up in a morning. Smashing Chris's playlist on Spotify and for one hour a day whilst I get ready for work.its just me and Chris, and my day is set.please come back with some music in 2020.. The world needs you right now 🙏 love from the UK 👍
Chris is so hard to place in a specific genre. He can literally find his own spot in any song that he sings. Pop, southern rock, country, blue grass, and the blues. He has done it all and you would swear that that is the genre he belongs in.
"Drunk Girl" by Chris Janson was probably one of the most influential songs of the last year that really blew up in country. (The title is a little deceiving, so give it a chance.) Other than that I would say... "Man I Lived It" by Blake Shelton is very quintessential country music for small town America. "Speechless" by Dan + Shay has been the biggest country love song of the last year. And "Rainbow" by Kasey Musgraves has really blown up in the last month.
Drunk Girl!!!!! That song blew my mind when I heard the lyrics -- which is kind of a sad comment on how low my expectations are from modern music. I'd love to hear their take on it.
I would also suggest one of the best blues guitarists ever Stevie Ray Vaughn- anything live but start with Little Wing and Tin Pan Alley with Johnny Copeland
Also listen to the Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton perdormance at the CMA awards!! They had so much fun and just left it all on stage it was phenomenal!! Well worth it buddies but keep up the good work my friends, I enjoy these reactions man!!
Ok... I am down the rabbit hole with Chris Stapleton!! I would literally listen to him singing the alphabet (a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, iiiiiiiiii...iiiiii....iiiiii.....iiiiii...iiii, j, k etc...). Wow, just woweu!!
You absolutely need to watch chris and justin Timberlake live at the 49th annual CMA awards. They sing Tennessee whiskey and one of just sings drink you away. One of the best luve performances around guaranteed.
Chris Stapleton is the best vocalist alive today. No question. I saw him in bars when he was up and coming and, my god, his voice. It's divine.
I was wrong and sometimes I cry are Chris Stapleton at his best. Which is saying something cuz he is AMAZING!!
The live version of these songs are just as good if not better
And Tennessee whiskey! Not a country fan, but I love that song (and this one).
@@KayliProjects that is the 1 song they have already heard
Totally agree with Sometimes I cry, live version! Master piece!
Sometimes I cry just hits you
Chris is a precious gift to the world. He brings joy to everyone who discovers him.
CRAZY isn't it. Wait until you hear him sing the introduction of his band on stage.!!!!!!!!! Wowwwwwww
Chris stapleton sometimes I cry (live at the bing lounge) really shows of Chris stapletons vocal ability. It's amazing and it has some rock undertones with the rasp in his voice so it will be right up your guys alley.
Chris Stapleton is amazing. He’s also a song writer and is behind a lot of amazing country songs as the writer. The guy is a genius.
Chris stapleton barely alive acoustic just like always amazing
I like his music so much 🥰🥰🥰🥰 glad y'all like it too.
Please listen to CHRIS STAPLETON - I WAS WRONG (Audio Version)
The live version is also amazing
Danielle Nicole Version "I Was Wrong" ℹ !
Or drink a beer
Definitely The Austin City limits version. Normally, live versions suck, but the audio quality of the ACL version is awesome and anyone can make magic in the studio. The live Austin city version shows Chris' talent and ability to do it just as well (or better) live with the added benefit of actually watching the magic happen.
@@_Common_Logic_ Yes. I agree. You HAVE got to listen to this version and review it.
The man cannot go wrong. Could sing anything and I would hang on every word and chills would take me over. Love that you guys have discovered him and enjoy it so much. I saw him not long ago open for the Eagles....a night I will never forget.
Chris Stapleton is one of my favorites and I love watching people react to him because he is simply incredible.
This song made me a fan of Chris Stapleton when I first heard it 👏👏💯
Their reaction to I Was Wrong is going to be EPIC!! They won’t be ready for that one.
That and Sometimes I Cry. Short but epic. Louisiana man here. Everyone here loves Chris. Good music transcends everything.
Chris Stapleton- Amanda. Absolutely amazing. Woman singing is his wife
AMANDA BY THE STAPLETONS FROM THE GRAND OLE OPRY! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL & EPIC.
Stapleton was in a rockband...the Jompson Brothers...look up Ride my Rocket...he was also in a bluegrass band, the Steeldrivers, look up Where Rainbows Never Die!!!
Play I was Wrong...amazing
Whiskey and you, if you really want to feel something- Chris is so good
You should see Either Way, from 2017 on the Charlie Rose show. Just Chris and his guitar, WOW!
Death row by Chris Stapleton is haunting but man he kills it on there
My favorite. He was starting out, promoting at a radio station, just him and his guitar.
Chris and JT performed 2 songs at the CMA’S a few years ago and blew the minds of the best country singers that were there
Whiskey and you is my favorite song of Chris Stapleton's it playlist worthy.
No Blues Rock here this time. This is pure country. I think you guys are beginning to see this guys versatility.
This guy can't be labeled as country, blues, or whatever. He is his own genre of music. Dude doesn't have a bad song. Bro. Chris Stapleton - sometimes I cry bing lounge
"I Was Wrong" and "Sometimes I cry" gotta hear these
Sometimes I Cry and I was Wrong both live versions are unreal.
He's not only a musician but also a songwriter. ✌️❤️☀️
Jason Isbell, Tyler Childers, Colter Wall, Sturgill Simpson all of those are amazing artists
Ian Koscielski you can add Charles Wesley Godwin to that list.
Sturgill is my favorite newer country artist.
Isbell, Childers, Wall and Simpson should form the new Highwayman...
Colter fucking Wall.
Simpson’s cover of The Promise...
Chris Stapleton - "Either Way" on Charlie Rose
It's crazy how your body just decompresses when his song songs play, like you cant help but relax.
Whiskey and You live ... at C2C London 2016. Blew the O2 British audience away.
Oh my, you guys are so fun to watch! I really enjoyed both your Chris Stapleton vids.

More country! Yes guys! 💙💙💙
The Steeldrivers- "Blue Side of the Mountain" they're a bluegrass band he was in before he went solo
Chris Stapleton “fire away” and “millionaire” are crazy good!
You have to listen to “Sometimes I Cry” live! It shows his range! Incredible!
And listen to Fire Away while watching the video... extremely moving!
Gotta love watching reactions to Chris coz you see people fall in love with him every time, haha! Amazing talent. "Your Man" is another great one live
You want your mind blown listen to Chris doing Sometimes I Cry at the Bing lounge!
No
You should react to Chris Stapleton - Whiskey and You. It's the definition of beautiful!
I love that song! Millionaire is another song I would love them react to :)
I’m from Arkansas. Everyone listens to country. Let me tell you, Chris Stapleton is a whole other ballgame of talent🙌 Cody Johnson is pretty great too!

Chris Stapleton is such an amazing artist and a real genuine person.
You need to listen to his version of Man's World live. So good.
His performance of "I Was Wrong " from Austin City Limits is really good. He was also in a bluegrass band called The Steeldrivers and a rock band called The Jompson Brothers. In the beginning of song your faces looked like you were thinking of someone from the past. That's how you know it's a great song. It's one of my personal favorites by Chris.
Stapleton- I Was Wrong
Definitely, you'll feel it!
You need to do his acoustic version of "Barely Alive". It will give you chills!
So, so happy you guys are listening to him. He’s absolutely amazing. YES.

CHRIS STAPLETON - BARELY ALIVE AND FOOL ME AGAIN ARE A MUST LOL
Either Way, I was Wrong, fire away, and sometimes I cry. Chris Stapleton is a straight savage
The video for Fire Away, only music video he has done and it was for a good cause, tells you a lot about the kind of artist he is
Sometimes I Cry, live by Chris Stapleton will give you full body chills. Must hear it

Chris Stapleton- Nothing Compares to You(Prince cover)

You would love Chris Stapleton's acoustic version of "Barely Alive". I think it was orginally a
Jompson Brothers Band song that Chris was in.
CHRIS WAS A WRITER OF BARELY ALIVE!
Yes, I know that Mike Beasley!
“Sometimes I cry”. Bing Lounge performance. It’s killer.
One suggestion I can make with Chris.... Listen to his live versions. In my opinion he sounds better live, than, in a studio.
My hometown radio station 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
“Death Row “ you will feel it in your
Bones and soul, Few words but they pack a huge punch. He is an amazing song writer and story teller.
Love you guys.
I’d love to see you react to The White Buffalo - The Whistler. He has a country influence, but he’s more blues

Gaw... Can’t pick a favorite Chris Stapleton song, BUT THIS ONE holds a special place in my being😭✨
Chris is so hard to place in a specific genre. He can literally find his own spot in any song that he sings. Pop, southern rock, country, blue grass, and the blues. He has done it all and you would swear that that is the genre he belongs in.
Listen to Sturgill SImpson! Very bluesy, soulful country, with some psychedelic and southern rock thrown in there
Again I listen. Amazingness never imagined. Continue to recognize the greatness, please.
Watch “I was Wrong “ Live at Austin City
Heavy Blues Rock based Country
It will blow you both away
My favorite Chris Stapleton song and my favorite version too.
His voice is so captivating.

The birth of country blues and southern rock and unreal instrumentals all have a beginning in one music BLUEGRASS
Anything live from him is better than his studio stuff! He’s amazing
Also listen to the Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton perdormance at the CMA awards!! They had so much fun and just left it all on stage it was phenomenal!! Well worth it buddies but keep up the good work my friends, I enjoy these reactions man!!

You absolutely need to watch chris and justin Timberlake live at the 49th annual CMA awards. They sing Tennessee whiskey and one of just sings drink you away. One of the best luve performances around guaranteed.
This man is amazing! Gotta love chris Stapleton! You guys should listen to some Don Williams or Johnny Cash!
I was wrong. Austin City Limits performance. Will blow you away.
