This is a great video, I like it and the details you have covered. Given the limitations when shooting train videos I applaud your efforts. Keep it up, I look forward to your future rail trips.
Thanks a lot, I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed it so much! Some of my other videos are of the same style as this one, namely my R-class tram ride, MV Freshwater ride, MV Charlotte ride and Austral Orana bus ride. I’ll try to make and make more of these 50/50 audio/visual videos as I very much enjoy making them. Thanks mate good to hear your feedback 😊
Who would have thought that a 26-minute video of a train ride from Central to Lithgow could be anything but boring. The camera stuck to the window, and no idea of what's going on, is what most would expect but not this time, no sir!! I was captivated from beginning to end by your informative narration and endless camera angles and positioning. I love the Vsets, but I had little knowledge of the individual history of the carriages until now. I am blown away by your cinematic creativity with a view between the door ventilation slats and even the gangway view to the tracks below are 2 mesmerising examples. This wasn't too long at all and the rat holes would have been a great addition. Excellent video, well done 👏 👍
Electrical equipment and motors were designed by General Electric in the USA, and manufactured (I think) by Mitsubishi Electric in Japan. The brake valves were manufactured by Davies & Metcalf. Feel free to look into it yourself as I only did a quick surf of the internet, but from what I could gather this information seems to be correct.
NOW I KNOW WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE HEAPS OF THOSE NEW. TRAINS MADE IN CHINA. AND THEY WORK SO WELL I LIVE. AT LAWSON. THE TOWN SIDE. IT TAKES ABOUT. 30MINS TO KATOOMBA. OR 1 HOUR 20MINS. TO LITHGOW. WHERE TICK TACS ARE MADE. A REAL TOURIST ATTRACTION. OH HUM. CHEERS
