Good to see that you show your struggles, we all have these with blends on certain colors in the booth lighting everything looks worse but outside it looks good sometimes you just have to roll the dice drive it outside and see how it looks like
Hi. Loving the videos and information you give out both on here and TikTok. Out of interest what brand of bonnet/hood stand is it you’re using? Cheers.
It can definitely be challenging man! Don’t be afraid to leave a comment with something you need help with! I’m more than happy to make a video on whatever it is! Helps you and othersb
Amazing job on the basecoat here Joel, it looked like it was a difficult colour to get on and blend but you really showed your skills here and did a great job, I would be happy if I had half your painting skills but it's videos like this that helps me improve, thanks for sharing🙏👍John UK Oh and it's always great to see a video from you.
It’s always great seeing your comments John! I always look forward to them when I upload! Seriously thank you so much for the love and support! It means a lot!
I really enjoy your videos as you explain in great detail what you are doing and why which is so helpful, I wish you could do more of them but I fully understand that you have a job and a family to put first but it's great when one pops up👏👍
@olie_olie_paintz olie I need to ask you a question sir I watched your vedio about the transtar adhesive primer and I tried it worked great -- my question is can I use transtar multi- tie 1034 adhesive promoter for a wet bed I think it's transparent thanks for any information I currently use S66 Sherwin Williams
Nice to see a real video on some of the struggles! I spoke to you at sema about guns and having issues with the 9k. I just switched from Cromax pro. What gun and to do you recommend for these larger metallic and silvers??? Is that a wolcomb?
Watching you do the hood makes me wonder....maybe it would help if you had done the second coat coverage coat like you did and just control coated over the wet paint (like spies)
I’ve tried that before and it honestly make it more blotchy. This line likes to float metallics and can be tricky. I should have listened to my gut and cross coated my second coat. Luckily worked it out in the end! 🍻
Ok. Nissan b51 gives me a hard time every single time even with the recommended g shade. Coverage sucks and control coat lightens up the color. Any advice?

Love the content you put out! I spray 9k also just switched to a DV1 from a prolite I’m having some issues modeling course metallics with the DV1

Awsome informational video! Thanks man, the only part that I didn't quite understand was what the blender coat was doing?
I’ve learned a lot watching your videos. I’m new to water and don’t have much rep help.

This is my Sagola man! 1.3 aqua air cap is my go to!

@@olie_olie_paintz looks perfect dude... good job! You got it done very well 👍
Doesn't the more control coat change the color?
No all you’re doing is smoothing the metallics anyway. If you control coat while paint is wet it definitely changes the color.

I though they layed down better in water vs solvent 🤔.
Water covers way faster so can be a lot harder to get right. Solvent is a lot easier to see what you’re doing while you’re spraying.
we have like 30 variants for this codes
Yep! Took five camera scans to get even ballpark. Not fun lol
