Can’t say I’ve ever used the poke method . With a correctly formulated product like @dnapaints Mutant CrystalZ it takes the guess work out of the equation
cheers mate , i use custom clear for 90% of the type of work i personally do. simply because 9/10 no polishing is needed . on the odd occasion ill use diamond clear as its thicker and is great for sanding and polishing or sanding and continuing to paint more things . i like to use the diamond clear if im using metal flake as it tends to bury the flake easier
Although you can mix candy with clear coat . On this project they were mixed with a intercoat “ transparent basecoat “ . It would have been impossible to paint this project with 2 colors using candy in clear coat
@@MichaelDelgado-ip1rg was painted for a display stand in a shop mate did you not listen to the video? About a car ? No one would pay me enough to do a whole car like it . Not to mention a whole car would ruin the car let’s be honest .. a whole car painted like that would be a waste of time and money

Very nice example of the Crystals in action! How do you decide between say the Custom Clear vs. Diamond Clear when your at that stage?

Was just a silver base . DNA’s silver flare metallic.

It’s called mutant crystalz . Its technically not paint but a solution which crystallises when it dries
