For a game of this age, the animations aged really well
The animations were overhauled in 2015-2017 but they still look great

@@StarkRaven59 idk man, 8 heists, 20-Something guns (most of which are basically just reskins), and some mid cosmetic items doesn't amount to 70%, specially when like 40-50% of the game is already in the base game lol
DLC is getting cheaper tho. I got all the character packs (except Ethan and Hila GRRRR) for 5 bucks.
Not to mention the legacy pack which squeezes 30 dollars worth of dlc into 10

As a person who played many battlefield games, I gotta say, this game's weapon variety of guns alone rivals other games I've seen, at least one person's favorite weapon is in the game and if it isn't, it will added as DLC at some point

Correct me if I'm wrong, i think EA's most dlc in a game is Sims 4 and they haven't even lower the price of old dlcs yet
To be fair, most of them are only 5 dollars and go on sale a lot, bringing them down to a couple of cents.

I feel like these were animated by a guy who animated custom CS:S weapon animations from the early 2010s.
Well, you're 100% correct.
I play this game like thousands of times, and if I had to choose one favorite gun to use forever, definitely the KSP [FN Minimi]. The KSP has lots of high stats and it’s able to kill Bulldozers on DW and also be viable on DS.
A lot of the old MGs are viable after the buff, especially if you go the modding route and let them use iron sights.

payday 2 gotta be one of the games with shitton of weapon that have great animations and great sound quality.
Though i found flaws in 4 different weapons: The Judge shotgun's cartridges magically goes to the gun and the character badly mimics that he is inserting them,
Mosconi has a accelerated default speed than the other weapons,
The Wasp SD has a different and terrible animation
Same goes for the futuristic shotgun

The only guns with bad animations are most from the Jiu Feng weapon packs that don't fully share animations and the Tempest-21, otherwise PAYDAY 2's animations are really good.
@@czarnakoza9697 to me it's ok, while functionally (in-game) I might only be using 1 gun, visually I'm using like 7, it's a win in my book as using the same gun (visually) every time is just boring.
@@czarnakoza9697 most guns look good, feel good and play well, plus basically all weapon archetypes are filled in, so I honestly don't see the issue on that, the game has much more glaring issues, and weapons are definitely not one.

it's because the pc version is the one they keep updating.
Console was abandoned.
Pc still had updates even this year.
I think the last time they even updated the console version was when the Russian weapons pack was released with the Bizon, AK-12, and SVD.
I play on console and I'm seeing guns I never saw on there in this video like the Groza

Yeep just watching this at night with 0 sleep and i end up passing out while watching it when i was at the shotguns and then i got right to rifles during a short nightmare
The Vollmer HK51B is definitely the most satisfying to watch
If you listen closely during each of the reload animations you can hear the magazines dropping to the ground while the player reloads their weapons.
This game got a literal armory over armory of weapons and puts any war games to shame.

It's classified as a shotgun in game and also the real gun can fire shotgun shells as well

i always hate when you cant aim with the mashine guns but the good news is there is a mod who fix that and is much more easy and fun to play with lmg and can play MP with no problem this is for peaple who dont like the optics and like me want to aim like orther weapons i wish i have the link to put it here but i dont but name of the mod is i think lmg scope or something is not hard to find it or just check any video on youtube!

Well it released in 2013 and they didn't change its style. Lets wait for Payday 3 (planned in 2023) to release and i hope it won't be very heavy or doesn't require very much especifications
