I think so he would have won. The winner deserves it as well as he is also beyond great...but what i believe got him thrown off with voting is that the fox had opened up more emotionally and that got the people's heart and votes. If only i think Chris did as well then he would have been the winner. I always believe the first time i have heard him in american idol, this man can sing and has one of the best voice especially when really trained. He didnt disappointment me with my expectations. He has the perfect voice, pitch perfect harmonizing and clear octaves. He one of the best male voices in rock. Hes up there with Freddy Mercury, Steve Perry, Adam Lambert etc....

Cant believe he was snuffed on 2 different singing shows. He’s a legend.
Sometimes losing is winning - he got more fans by being underrated... and he doesn´t need prizes, he´s way too good for that. Sia needs to come up with an original song for him, period... I don´t watch the Masked Singer show, but youtube sent me some videos with Jesse Maccarthy and I was like - this guy is great! Until I saw Chris´s clips of the show -- wow, he´s even greater than Jesse!!! Very hard songs to sing and Chris just nailed them... and by the way, some folks on the internet say singers on Masked Singer do lip-syncing because of the masks, I don´t think so - at least in the cases of Jesse and Chris - they were singing live through some fabric in the masks... Amazing...

So true! I only saw the finale of The Masked Singer because it came on after an Eagles game and I couldn't find the remote, but I knew it was Chris before he unmasked. His voice is AMAZING, he got robbed.
Yepp - I didn't watch Masked singer but my Dad does and he recorded it. So when I went to visit he played an episode and fwd to Chris and goes " who is this?" Then stared, I screamed Daughtry!
Big fan of Sia’s talent/voice (still want to see her live), but this song has been taken to another level by Chris.

Honestly have always felt that Daughtry is underrated (along Adam Lambert). Like, sure they are quite famous but I feel their talent and unique voice deserve more appreciation and they deserve to be bigger, because I feel that their songs have more depth and contents than most trending dancey or rap songs on the top song charts such as the billboard chart, if you know what I mean. For some reason, they just don't get enough social media hype, recognitions and attentions that I personally think the deserve more. Maybe they need to put more efforts in marketing, personality branding and social engagement, especially that they may be less known by the gen z demographic group. Gen z people are growing up to be a great tappable market already, especially nowadays the social media era and during current times where there are more internet traffics, it could be an opportunity to put out more online contents. Collaborations would be amazing too.

Idk if its an agent thing or what but they both deserve to be at the top of the charts! Chris's voice is so unique and powerful! I wish radios would play him more! Such an underrated singer. This man has powerhouse vocals! His voice resonates so strongly that I can feel it in the depths of my soul. I've seen him perform live several times and have always been fascinated and impressed by his vocal range. He basically sounds like a recording! I was disappointed that he didn't win the Masked Singer since he clearly deserved to (his voice is so distinctive that I recognized it instantly) but I'm hoping the exposure will help him establish a new line of fans. Every cover he did on the show should be made into a single, as well as the accoustic cover of "Wicked Game" he did on Billboard years ago. I would happily buy that collection of songs ❤️

To me Daughtry is a winner. To take a loss with dignity and to be humble and hold on to faith makes him one of the best underrated singers ever. And to actually make a cover of a song he performed unlike the others who some of them I wished would've released covers just proves it.
