Out with the old trash bag kit and in with the new trash can set up! #ferrismowers #vanguard #z3x #trashbucket #oilguard #wertzfarmandpowerequipment #stripelife
Great video man!! Keep them coming! I enjoy hearing about the Ferris mowers and your thoughts about them! Great idea with the bucket! Ferris should definitely look into designing something like you talked about
Thanks! They do make square buckets that may work too. As I was looking online for 2 gallon buckets some square ones popped up so that is another option. I'm thinking a black, red or gray color bucket would look perfect on it. Thanks for watching and commenting. Let me know if do this to yours? My other buddies that run Ferris near me liked the idea that they ran out and bought buckets to hang on their Ferris mowers.
We have those same Toro trash bags on all 3 of our Z2's. They are very useful but, I agree the bags have their flaws. Let's us know how the little white bucket works out for ya 😉☝️
I liked them at first because it was better than nothing for holding trash. It's a great option but after seeing some other mowers the other day that had trash cans on their mowers I wanted to look at other options and this is what I came up with. I'll let you know how it goes.
Have you tried the wright bucket holders, or those from Spencer products? I don't hang anything on the trim sides , it gets hit on side hills with fences and as you say blocks the view of the edge of the deck.
@firstname6208 I have looked into the Wright mower's trash kits and they're around $100/$140 for their bag or bucket kits. This $5 bucket works for me. I actually got the idea from seeing the Wright mowers trash kits. I'm hoping Ferris sees this video and comes up with something similar. It's a perfect spot for a trash bucket right behind the battery shelf. It'd also be nice if not just Ferris but other brands point the exhaust pipes to blow out the same direction as the decks discharge chutes. Having the exhaust pipes pointing towards the trim side hurts the bushes or hedges with the heat.

Now that's THINKING out the Box ☑️
Thank you, Sir!

Awesome! I'm glad this helped you! Congratulations on your new Z1 and have a great 2024!

I'll have to check out my John Deere stand on.
See if that would work. For mine.

where did you get the spare trimmer spool holder that is mounted on the shaft?
Ballard products for around $15. It definitely comes in handy!
