  • Over 150 listeners brought chairs to the lawn of the Jay Estate to celebrate a historic anniversary - fifty years ago, on a farm in upstate New York, a half million people gathered for three days of peace and music at WOODSTOCK. Those three days changed the way the world thinks about music and togetherness.
On Friday, August 30th, 2019, JHC recaptured some of the sights, sounds and energy of Woodstock. Ticket buyers stretched out on our front lawn with friends and were transported by the music and vibe of those days back in 1969 courtesy of Crazy Otto.
Part One of the show, 7:00pm to 8:15pm, was a fast-paced tour of some of the most influential artists to play at Woodstock, including Janis Joplin, The Band, Joan Baez, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker and more.
Part Two of the show, 8:25pm to 9:30pm, dove into the music of one of Woodstock's most famous acts, the Grateful Dead. Deadheads and casual festival-goers alike grooved to this performance.
The skilled musicianship of Crazy Otto and their devotion to the jams of the Grateful Dead and other 60s/70s bands make them the perfect tour guides.
