Motocross Action Magazine tests the 2023 GASGAS MC250F Factory Edition. GASGAS is now rocking the new parts that we saw come on the KTM & Husqvarna last year. They are leaving the previous generation frame and design in the rear view mirror for 2023. This bike features a map switch, identical WP suspension settings as the KTM, Hinson clutch cover, skid plate, holeshot button, red triple clamps, Akrapovic exhaust muffer, Dunlop tires, Red Bull graphics kit, red gas tank cover and more! We hit the high desert for testing with SoCal taking on a lot of rain. See what our thoughts were on this bike, who the bike might be for, and what the final verdict is!

Love how those number plates and the red background color look. This bike has the looks for sure.
Of the three Austrian bikes, I prefer the look of the GasGas.
Husky factory team looks best to me with their black, white, and gold trim, but the bikes alone, these look great! I'm not a fan of the modern bikes having so little plastic and tiny side plates.

Why did you not test on a traditional MX track, like Glen Hellen, so you could directly compare it to other 250's? Why are you not a fan of the residence chamber? Why don't the Austrian bikes use springs in both fork tubes... the factory teams convert over (they do not like the air fork). Thanks.
Glen Helen was rained out the day we shot this video and we have been riding it at Glen Helen since then. We do like the resonance chamber, it’s a good thing! As for the air forks, WP believes that they are best and they like that they are three pounds lighter.
@@joshmosiman1955 Thanks and I do appreciate your videos... they are my favorite for reviews. It just seems kind of strange to me that factory teams don't run them in "air mode." I guess the 3 pound weight savings makes more of a difference to the average consumer, weekend warrior. The factory teams probably make up for the extra spring weight with all of their other exotic, lightweight parts?
aesthetically, I can't believe they went for those tight red hubs but stuck with plain black rims. is it wrong that I have a hard time taking a manufacturer named "Gas Gas" seriously? when I came back to the MX scene, I thought it was a made-up name or a trials bike. 😄
