All of the factory riders love straight rhythm they deal with serious stress all year then get to come race straight rhythm just for fun and get back on 2 strokes I think they should do more events maybe hold one in Europe for Mxgp guys.

Altho I love 2-strokes and think they would be great machines to race, when electric mx bikes start coming to the fore it may be a great way to introduce them and increase visibility of new e-MX bikes to amaetur motocross riders and also to the public/spectators
My two favorite things in the world are Drag racing and moto. This is my all time favorite moto event. This is the 3rd time I've watched this since last week. Love it.
This definitely needs to be a touring series, I mean it's just amazing and I'm really glad they're still doing it and I'm really glad it's two-stroke as well!
then huge sponsors come in and it'll be 4 strokes only with the bs excuse "they're faster." like it's not obvious every retired/ sponsor dropped rider goes back to 2 stroke immediately.
This comment is for Red Bull. I love that you guys upload this event on RUclips after it airs on Red Bull TV or wherever you stream it. Straight Rhythm is what got me and my sibling interested in motocross and supercross for the first time.
Daniel Blair is the best announcer in the sport bar none. Weege and Blair together provide the best commentating I've ever heard. The enthusiasm is infectious. Well done.
Yes KTM's Throttle Body Injection is awesome! They finally after so many years of talking about a fuel injected 2-stroke did it the proper way! Not that crappy Transfer Port Injection. Mixing oil with the fuel has to be 100% better for lubrication and better reliability for their smoker's!
Wow I love this race its such a great combination of drag racing and dirt bikes,rhythm and skill,not to mention keeping the two strokes alive.hell ya!! Bring back more two strokes.
Crazy most of these guys we not riding 2 strokes until this event. A good prepared pit crew looks like it may have had a play with the rain. Nice work!
What i like about this competition ? Retired cats can compete in it , ya don't need a ton of cardio to compete and be competitive . I'd love to see James compete again and Chad get in the mix as well, could you imagine a Reed, Stewart final ??
It's always great RB but, you need Tomac, Sexton, Jett and Jo to level up the competition. Now some of these never will because they're not Red Bull athletes and that's too bad. On a good note it's great to see all these guys on smokers and the track is dope so way to level it up. My dream match up would be Tomac vs Sexton....since Herlings has zero sx experience and wouldn't be very competitive.
@@Peanutdenver HRC Honda won't let their riders do the event. That's why Jett, Hunter, and Sexton weren't there. I think factory Kawi prevents their riders from doing it as well.
@@MX304 100%...and Monster Energy wouldn't be too keen on seeing their riders in a full on Red Bull event. HRC always has been pretty strict with what their riders can do outside of the two main series...just look at Kenny. Star is probably the only Team that is somewhat chill about it.
This is pretty cool actually, puts your technique to the test. I agree with a lot of comments on here, Red Bull needs to make this type of race a series
I gotta say the Pomona venue was much better from a fan perspective. You could walk the full track from both sides and access the other through the tunnel in the middle. No biggie I guess but something about the previous venue made the track far more accessible. While I am here commenting, if you took Tyler Bereman's helmet, or know who did... Make it right and get it returned

Anyone who has done motocross knows how important the accuracy of obstacle profiles is. At the beginning of this video (0:51 min) they show how the use of Trimble technologies helped build the track faster and more accurately. Personally, as I am passionate about two-stroke engines, I loved this event!
That would be awesome but both RC and JS would and should get a large paycheck for that race. I would love to see RC dog JS 1 more time and mostly because JS and his Brother were dogging 2-strokes on a video saying how slow they are & boring to ride etc.although neither one of the Brothers can say that those boring,slow 2-strokes didn't get them into racing + helped JS especially become a great rider/racer on them slow smokers!

Old Dirt Biker, 72 MX 250, Blue Yamaha ITJ 250 and A Honda Motorsports 250 , It was Fun to watch !, The 2 strokes were my favorite especially The ITJ 250. The 4 stroke Honda 250 somehow always made it but I was not as confident on it as I was on the 2 strokes. I was thinking it was going to stall up the hill climbs. I started out on a Orange Gold 175 Yamaha 2 stroke Enduro with a big carb and big sprocket with no baffle. Man did that thing shake on top end And it would bottom out up front off of Big jumps ! But that 175 engine was pure gold At high RPMs ! Nothing is quite like your first real dirt bike !

once the rain started, the advantage in the left lane was unreal... idk if anyone else noticed but the right lane is missing two of those metal grate pieces to start that are giving the boys all the traction on the concrete
Pastrana did not win on one a few years ago. They are fast when you can get traction. But in situations like this where they are in the air much of the time, the extra power doesn't do much. The weight can definitely hurt though.
I know crazy! It’s kind of cool that Kenny has won one of these events and now Marvin has won one of the two stroke events so next year if they are both there it will determine who is better on the two-stroke but Kenny hopping on that Yamaha said he felt really comfortable so that’s pretty crazy.
Glad Marv won but I was glad to see Kenny finally having some fun. This kind of stuff will get him mentally back on track. He needs to be with a team that will let Kenny be Kenny.
The main thing with 2 strokes is like 30 % less motor cost. 1st street bike was a 1976 Kawasaki 750 triple 2 stroke with Fat Expansion chambers the Neighbors Hated.... "Rapp Rapp" ... Happy 2023

Jesus, Musquin was on fire. No hesitation, no mistakes, perfect technique.
Only thing missing is the 500cc class, Pastrana doing some wild stuff.
This should be a multiple round series. I would watch this regularly and attend the live event if it came to my state.
