ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

Wow this girl has so much talent for her age. Even if she should unfortunately not win the Voice - she will go places. I feel Reba would get her connections to take her further in the music world. The Grand Old Opry would love to have her! All the best to you Ruby Leigh…I am routing for you!

Also, during rehearsals, Reba wanted her to sing, lower, and she did, and it sounded great!!
It was funny cuz Wynonna was telling her, one thing, and Reba said that she wanted to hear it, another way (that's when she said, to sing, lower), and Ruby sang it, like Reba said, and Reba hollered, with approval, and Wynonna was like "You just think you're so smart, don'tcha", or something like that, and then they laughed!!! It was too cute, for words!!! 😂

I am a big R&B fan, but also have quite a collection of old school country in my record collection. I recall in the early '80s before anyone knew who she was, I started playing Patsy Cline when I was having a dinner party. All of my friends, none of whom are country music fans, all stopped talking and asked "Who is that?" When you are super talented, genre doesn't matter. Very few new artists around now who can just sing a song without vocal acrobatics, background dancers and/or skimpy outfits to compensate for lack of talent. You all know who I'm talking about.
Ruby brings her talent to a whole new level. Just look at the reactions of Nial, John and Gwen in this video. You can tell they are just so, so enjoying this concert.
Even though she didn't win, I predict Ruby will be the first big star to come out of the Voice. I can't wait for her concert in my city.

I think Ruby Leigh of Reba's team should win. She is a great singer. We need her. In the country music and on the Grand Ole Opry.
Wow. Her voice is so precise. This song can be sung kind of gimmick-y because of the yodels, but she really tapped into the melancholy emotion of the song and let that guide the yodels in the choruses. Really magical.
Ruby is a special talent.. the maturity in her voice.. makes her sound like a grown up woman .. yet she has the same young girl innocence Leanne had when she did it .. this was Beautifully entertaining and masterfully done.❤💯
Classic, brilliantly done! Kickback to the old country music style! ❤ Not many know this…even though Blue was sort of slated for Patsy Cline to record, she passed away before recording it. Blue was released by several artists over the years but LeAnn Rimes recorded it in 1996 and is the only artist to win awards (including a Grammy) for her version.

my favorite cover of this is chevel shepherd’s (also 16 when she sang this), but this was so, so good. not as captivating as her two earlier performances, but you know you’ve set the bar high when this is an “okay” performance.
