LYRICS
Don't stop
Pass by
We didn't know that we'd survive
A simple start
I wasn't expecting to fly
I'd like to delete myself
Don't like to repeat myself
I'd like to delete myself
Don't like to repeat myself
It's no
But don't go
Everyone's getting old so quickly, what are we gonna do with this now
I'm so tired
I wasn't thinking about kids and the future
I'd like to delete myself
Don't like to repeat myself
I'd like to delete myself
Don't like to repeat myself
Ohhh
Don't stop the clock
Don't mention the time
Eyes front and we'll all be fine
Some sorry state
You left me in
Tearstained, scuffed and dazzling
I'd like to delete myself
Don't like to repeat myself
I'd like to delete myself
Don't like to repeat myself

Don’t pretend to be. Just be 😊
This is beautiful, raw, intelligent and forces you to take a pause
Thank you for saying so!
A fantastic version. Amazing.
Oh thanks!
Really enjoyed this version. It definitely worked x
Thank you xx
Beautifully haunting. My brain is seeing the original Dark Crystal film, Gelflings and such.
Wow, now that's a compliment :)
The thing I like about live looping is, if you do make a mistake, depending on your undo ability flowing in with the song, it comes back round to haunt you every few bars! They say, if you play a wrong note, play it again to convince people it was on purpose! Jazz I think they call it. Have done this.. ha! The loop pedal means I do it infinitely :P I like what you said about admitting and laughing about it. I think that works well with mistakes, if they are mistakes and not just, well, expression at the time or, "jazz" notes which may be a more ambiguous way of putting it. I have been doing some theatre shows recently and the presenter/lecturer for the main show (tis a science thing about space) had some tech issues. Pressure was high as the place was sold out, but he had a little laugh with the audience and it actually added to the whole thing, so, I think it's a good approach despite everyone always saying "never acknowledge mistakes!" I mean, maybe, for the ones that can be gotten away with, but damn, some are just show stoppers ha! Need a punchline or 2 for those ones.
Ha yes - you absolutely get it. There's nothing like hearing your mistake come round and round and round again through the looper :) In fact, messing up my looping is what taught me how to chat self deprecatingly between songs, so yay for that!
Definitely loving that version 👍👏👏
Thank you, Douglas!
This is brilliant
Thank you!
Love this recording ❤
Thank you Sandra xo
