  • My version of the Johnnys Swaying Ghost prop. Gives you swaying movement of hanging props - ghosts, witches, etc... that you can make or buy anywhere.
So instead of them just hanging static - this makes them sway. Mine will also have the arms lifting up and down in addition to the swaying. I'm getting 3 movements from 1 motor - swaying and each individual arm lifting up and down

I love how you always get as much movement as you can out of one motor! This one looks simple enough that I might be able to build it. Thanks for sharing.

Pretty sweet. Johnny's ghosts are amazing. I like the adaptations you've been doing to simplify them. Nice job!

The wiper motor and power supply come from monsterguts.com - they have them on sale every now and then,
The 1" PVC pipe and fittings all come from Home Depot or Lowes - all easy to buy almost anywhere.
The motor speed controllers I get on Ebay. Monsterguts sells them too but you can get them cheaper on Ebay.
Regarding the build - you can make it really any size you want. I will be anchoring it to the ground once the prop is hung since it would probably fall over if not anchored - but that should be easy enough. Any other questions regarding how to build let me know
