No doubt in my mind that had he remained healthy he would have been the first and only player to date to be inducted into the Pro Football and Pro Baseball Hall of Fame. Once in every 100 years athlete.

His flaw was being too athletic. He was a badass on the football field but as a Royals fan I can only imagine what would have happened if he stuck with baseball. sigh...

Signalsoldier I’ll admit he was one of the greatest athletes ever. But to say he’d be a hall of fame NFL player is a stretch. He averaged under 700 yards per season rushing the ball. Great running backs like AP and CJ2K have rushed in a season for what he rushed for in 4 seasons.

I still remember watching the Seattle game on Monday Night football with my dad, I was like six at the time and was amazed by what I was seeing, I used to half pay attention at that age but I couldn't take my eyes off the screen, that was the moment I became a Raiders fan and I've loved them since that night. Bo was my favorite athlete as a kid and I remember that damn play at the L.A. Coliseum against the Bengals during the divisional playoffs like yesterday, I remember him playing with his kids on the sidelines after the injury thinking he'll be alright not knowing that was the last play of his NFL career, I also remember watching the Raiders get killed the next week in the AFC championship game by the Bills and wondering what would have happened had we had Bo. There are four Raiders that will always hold a special place in my heart because they were there when I first became a fan of the Raiders and of football, a game I would grow up to play and love and love as a fan and they are; Bo Jackson, Howie Long, Marcus Allen, and Tim Brown (Tim Brown is my favorite Raider of all time). Bo Jackson and Barry Sanders were the two most exciting players to watch on offense ever, I also remember watching the Lions Raiders game where they both went off, check it there used to be a youtube video of the highlights the two of them put on.

Where's the highlight of where, after palming a one-hopper off the wall at the warning track, he throws out a runner(Harold Reynolds) at Home Plate? Teardrop on the plate. The catcher had started to walk to the dugout cuase he knew the runner was the game winning run...then he came back after he saw Bo palm the ricochet off the wall. THAT is the greatest play ever....ruclips.net/video/eB9wi_zvMdM/видео.html
