One because he is unbelievably athletic and scary tenacious, also because his IQ is probably the best ever as well, for real.. Taylor the type of dude to completely annihilate a guard tackle combo and still tackle John Riggins for a loss👀.. Or he can just run down all pro backs behind the line of scrimmage for losses, be in coverage against Rice etc.. you really don't understand.. That'd be like Brady throwing a screen pass to a all pro receiver and still manages to be a lead blocker downfield for tds on the regular😂.. Shit like that you wont ever see for obvious reasons but with Taylor, thats on the daily.. Do us a favor and watch film and know what your looking at.. because LT, transcend defense son.. Hes the best football that ever lived and its not close.. In my book, Brady number 2 and I'm a lifelong Patriots fan.. Its not about stats with Taylor, REALLY watch him.. If you watch the reels on him a utube user named john smith has uploaded you can verify for yourself that he consistently performed at an ALL Pro level in each dept-coverage, pass rushing, and run stuffing...He also demonstrated that he was exceptionally effective when asked to line up as an ILB instead of an OLB. Players usually have strengths and weaknesses...There are players who are in the HOF just because they were almost as great as he was against the run, or in pass coverage, or as a pass rusher, but werent anywhere near as great, maybe werent even really good at all in 1 of or maybe even both of the other 2 basic depts...He wasnt just good he was dominant in every phase of the game...
Reggie White, as outstanding as he was, isnt even necessarily the best def lineman ever...Some insist that Deacon Jones was better...others might suggest Joe Green was better, and others would also suggest that Aaron Donald is better...Regardless of which of them was the best the bottom line is the impact even the greatest def linemen ever have isnt as substantial as the impact LT had...Hed beat double and triple team blocking efforts just as those 3DLs could, but unlike them he could regularly make u pay by dropping back into coverage on a play where uve assigned 2-3 blockers to account for his attempt to get to your QB-which never comes-and are therefore out of position/outnumbered/caught off guard if/when they bring the blitz via other angles, gaps, and positions..Having a player thats anywhere near as good as any of those players are makes all the other defensive players jobs easier, but to have a player with that kind of impact may be closer to the advantage provided by having an extra defender on the field.

If you made a million a year in the 80s that was good money, enough for a lifetime for an ordinary person- and to live well too, not just try to live like someone in the middle class. Plus the best players got endorsements and other money besides their contract. The huge difference between today and back then is today virtually anyone that gets drafted by a pro sports league is set for life. Back then you had to be important to the team and stick around for several years at least.

When Bo returned, his baseball coach met him on the field and informed him that he was ineligible because he took gifts. Bo said he was crushed and cried like a baby.
