This series includes Glitchy and my genuine first reactions to entering the Ashlands without much knowledge at all! This is not part of any other playthrough and is a standalone on a new world I created to help us quickly get ready and play with some Ashlands stuff as soon as it was released, since we didn’t have a good playthrough ready to join up and adventure in together! This is a series that Glitchy and I both recorded and made separate videos for our respective channels. Watch one or both videos if you want to see Glitchy’s perspective.

The shortage of gemstones is a real pain. I thought it was going to be the flametal or celestial feathers that would be the crafting bottleneck, but it's totally the gemstones.

6:40 You probably have an older version of Craft from containers, there's a new one from a guy called Buttergeland. The older versions are a little bugged since Ashlands came out and some of the functionalities won't work, like adding fuel from containers as well as preventing devcommands.
22:38 That's from the older version for sure, if you do the shift stack, it will delete your stuff. With the new one, you can add max without your stuff being deleted.
Getting some strong Brokeback Mountain vibes from these two. Lol.

Waffles basically ignoring the need to establish a beachhead in order to collect grapes while Glitchy gets surrounded by Charred is quintessentially you two. Love it!

Ah, the cliffhanger! I think this is my favourite series, because stuff is new to both if you (and myself).
That craft from storage mod is great. It's so annoying to run around looking through chests.
Also, you grabbed 4 cores, but I don't know where the other 2 went.
I'm so glad you're enjoying!!! And I do figure out where the cores went! I stacked them when dropping off Ashlands gear since there were some cores already in one of the boxes.

Oh the build up is excellent and the next episode is gonna be LIT! Knowing what I know I await the next installment with great anticipation.
The boat is ok enough, just go in backwards and your maneuverability is fine

Try to avoid using Lightning weapons while Dvergers are around the chain lightning can hit them as well. I actually hope the devs recognize that as a problem coz you're not trying to hit them but then you accidentally do coz of the passive from the weapon.
Yeesssss I do try to avoid this! I tested it out in a Livestream and it can be very bad
Try turning the SSAO off in graphics to get rid of the underlying shadows. Won't look as nice but may help the visuals. Or put on a circlet ya goof, everyone is wearing them these days in the Ashlands.
I'm gonna screenshot this and try to remember to try that!

Do I need to upload those mods to my server plugin folder. Or is it enough just to put in the local plugin folder on on my pc ?
I use thunderstore and it works automatically.
Have you tried turning up the brightness ? Of course not lol...

I still cant wrap my head around it. Why does waffle keep saying "Dad"? I dont understand any of this. Why "dad"? Is there a spesific moment its supposed to be funny? What is it reference to? I cant underst and the joke and this causes me quite alot of distress. Am I going crazy? Why is he saying "Dad"?!
Idk what it's specific a reference to. It's just a joke. Like you know when a young kid looks to his dad and says something like, "hey dad! Dad! Dad! Dad watch! Are you watching? Dad! Dad!" Then he does some really dumb little half jump that's not even a little impressive. "dad! Dad did you see!? Dad! Did you watch?" "Oh wow that was soooo coolllll"
