Saw Sparks 12 days before this concert in Copenhagen, Denmark❤️ I tell What a party, the best Sparks concert i ever seen. Love Sparks since 1974 (11 years old).
Thank you for sharing this with us! Sparks are truly unique and that just struck me again, especially at the end when they thank the audience and take their time before they leave. Other bands don't do that, they often don't even say "Thank you" and just leave the stage. Let alone giving such heartfelt speeches like Ron and Russell do. You can really sense that they truly mean what they say and don't just say it.
I had seen them just 8 (?) days prior in Berlin. A marvelous concert! Such energy, the place was bouncing up and down with Russell as he bounded across the stage.

Thank you for sharing but I hope you didn't ruin the show for other people behind you by having your cell phone up in the air the entire show. I love this band so much that I would have probably been sobbing in frustration if I had been one of those people.
Sparks have had 3 top 10 Singles in the UK, 12 UK top 40 Singles, 5 UK top 10 Albums, a No 1 Single in France a number 7 single in Germany and hits in other Countries, not bad for a band with no commercial success.
I guess they've had more commercial success than 99.7% of musicians or something but compared with other bands who have been releasing music constantly for 50+ years they haven't had much success I wouldn't say. The past few years though they seem to have been getting noticed a lot which is great
