Thanks @Gripp, great video. Just a point about the Reno packages. Only 4 planes are included in the base version for about $20, or you can get them all for $60. However, if you don’t, they are $10 each to buy separately. Apparently they can be used in the sim normal once you have them as well…
We'll confirm that when it comes out, There are many of the same model of aircraft, but they also have different tweaks and livery's just like the real ones. : )

I’m actually more looking forward to the F-18 and the Miramar naval base addon than the Reno content. I got the DC Designs F-14 a while back and since then I’ve become addicted to flying fighter jets. Flight simming is such an expensive hobby.

Idk. I recently got a just flight air craft. The attention to detail in the cockpit with everything being modelled makes me feel having purchased the premium deluxe version was a waste. I would have been better off putting the extra towards exceptionally crafted planes.
@@GripperSim the Just flight plane truly is great.. it has made me reconsider the sim altogether and makes me wonder. Do I want to spend $60 on 40 more default planes or should I get just 2 more planes that have been done as good as they can be.
Man it's like Sim Update could be called bugfix update because all of the Sim Updates were like this. I want a solid addition to the simulation but they don't bring us that.

I just want the courses to be available in the world map, so I'm not stuck going into "race mode" only. I'll be hard pressed to pay for this if the courses are restricted to the specific game mode.

@@ExperimentalSimAvionics I do use air manager but on 2 android tablets although the buttons work the screen pop ups don't transfer over. As that function is not available on the android version of air manager. On xplane I use spacedesk and drag the pop ups over as they have the buttons.

@@nigelmorris4769 I’m a little confused as to your setup but from the sounds of it you don’t have the desktop version. If you run the overlay in AM for Android then yes you will get the blue screen and a message like you describe. AM for Android does not enable popout display only control. When you use spacedesk you are creating another monitor for your desktop machine.so the principal here is you popout the sim window and drag it onto your spacedesk enabled monitor(tablet) and use the desktop version of AM on the same machine to show the overlay on the same spacedesk monitor. The tablet versions of AM are limited. I always recommend the desktop version because it enables so much more capability than can be achieved with those tablet versions. Think of them as AM lite. Take a look at some of the videos on my channel for an idea of what can be done.

So still no pop out buttons for the glass cockpits..
Use Air Manager for pop out control it’s way better than what the sim will offer if they ever add the controls that is.
