We have a place in southern Idaho called the Snake River Birds of Prey area. Note, this area was formed for endangered raptors globally. This area is a high desert with the Snake River flowing thru it. There is canyon walls on this river where the Raptors nest up. The raptors are there because of the whistle pigs (ground squirrels), badgers are there because of the whistle pigs and they are the food source for this area. Last I heard there were 40 to 50 badgers per square mile here. The largest density of badgers in North America. I noticed the rock walls surrounding your farm. Do you have any raptors in your area? I’m not certain what I’d going on with these geese but the raptors would help keep them in check. Gorgeous looking farm!

When I was a lot younger Canada geese were migratory birds. Here in Wisconsin we would only see them in the spring and fall as they traveled through. We still have the migratory ones, but back in the 1980’s some of them decided to just stay for the winter, and our cities now have huge populations of these birds. They are pests who poop all over the place.

I'd like to commend you on your video's, you were able to catch a couple of the thermal images of the bullet's travel. I thought that was awesome. Thanks for sharing. Just a thought, a small problem with video's or still pictures', is you can't always make out the scale of things generally speaking. Maybe, if you happen to know the size of the farm your hunting on, you could pass that information along. It's the old how big is big, or how small is small.
