DYVN yeah but the time stretch algorithm in Luna supposedly doesn’t leave as many artifacts. Also you don’t have to place markers around your edit point like you do in Logic, from what I could gather.
May you reveal the vol. Of that practice to cutz record plz bro. Working in a song and that "got it like that" sample would fit well. Sucks not having dvs by I make do. Awesome vid btw your beats are always dope. Also I'm glad to see your eye is doing much better!! God bless
I think perhaps I'm just bias because I have grown to use Ableton, but working in linear mode is tuff for me now. I have found building everything in clips and building out in arrangement view a life/time saver. I like how clean Luna sounds. The plugins matched with it and the dsp processing are nice, but I just can't see myself using it for music production. I use luna as a console replacement currently and it's purely for the mastering plugins. I wish they would just make the console luna plugin compatible so I can stop using it to be honest. I have the machine resources to support it but still having two daws open is kinda weird and you can't use it offline you have to be connected to the internet all the time.
Coll mouse-beat-making Accurate! Really the value of Luna (and Apollo) to work no-latency with serious external synths/guitars. Luxurious sounds ..... come with luxurious price. Because its free after you buy at least TwinX (to have enough power for one external synth processing and keep master semi-hot, since you have dsp its best to enjoy hot playing). And at least you want a bundle with Ravel/Moog (otherwise what's the point, while Moog is only mono, "true to original"). And of course need to spend at least few more hundreds for essential UA plugs. Did I mention need a decent newer Mac? (mine has no TB3). I almost felt for it spending $3k on UADs + "free" Luna :) When my Arrow burned out in first month of use, I returned it to the store, saving money for Xmas times for X4/X6. Now the funds gone into Maschine+ and contribute to second Analogue Polysynth. Those will do much more with same immediacy of playing and no-latency, no-computer fun. But of course when I have spare $3K for UA and $3K for a new Mac, will add Luna to my unused DAW collection :)
@@Gainsforlife Ableton, Arturia, IK, NI, FF and zero Waves. I love UA, so I love my daughter's college bill :) Undeniable next level experience with Arrow (so my next album release is postponed until get UA/Mac). Though I realized it did not change anything on creativity side of things for me. For the current work-from-home situation priority is M+ standalone and PolyBrute, add-on to Sub37 CV. The same (not small) money will bring more for my Electronic centric flow. If I'd record more guitars (make use of preamps) or layer-by-layer acoustic instruments/vocals, Apollo Twin/X6/X8 is all one ever needs for happy music making. For the rest of artists - luxury item, but great if can afford it. If you think of it, anything soon will be DSP (UA, Roland, M+, etc (even those Waves), does not mean prices should sky rocket, as UA charges now. Take Galaxy Tape Echo for ex, I found using Arturia Tape 201 while could do UA plug, for which paid $100 (when on PC DAW). Raum on board of M+ as cool and more creativity in hands.
samprock 😮 I stand corrected. Zero waves here too, so I applaud you on that. As for me it’s UA all the way. Their prices are justified since all UA plugins are based off real hardware and not just digital emulation but actual hardware manipulation too which is more than any other company can say. McDsp does offer a compressor box that works similarly but only for compression if I’m not mistaken.
Your beats always soooo chill... I love them! And the scratches add an amazing touch Question For ya mate, do you ever make anything more upbeat or pumping.... coz that's what I wannnaaaaa seeeeeeee/heaaaaar from you more than anything
Bambamsounds I have Logic and it's fine. Not sure what you mean. Having to use a particular interface reminds me of the old Pro Tools days. No bueno! And not sure how much power the interfaces deliver to run Luna and the consoles and such, but I've seen many complaints regarding DSP and UAD plugins where a single device is insufficient. I love the concept. It reminds of of Cubase's console, but better. I'm just not sure about the interface providing the power. And Luna needs more development to meet my needs. No multi-output plugin support doesn't work for me. But I'm keeping an eye on it.
Thansk! Yeah... What I didn't show here is that Luna actually have a bunch of different warping algorithms that you can choose from and even use multiple of on the same sample. All to make sure the warping works without any artifacts or glitches. Really cool stuff. Thanks for watching
Awesome stuff man. I have a MK3 and im trying to get into Luna, do you know if there is a way to integrate the MK3 with Luna so my separate sounds run to different channels in Luna. Would appreciate it if you have any info or could make a video on this.
Such a shame that Luna doesn’t have its own sampler instrument with the times-stretching algorithms of Luna itself built-in to it. Something along the lines of Simpler in Ableton or Quick Sampler in Logic. Better still would be a Sampler Track like Cubase!
You Got To Love The Scratch Part !!!
Another great beat making Accurate. Luna seems lightweight and a cool rising DAW. Can't wait to see where its going. Thanks! 🌞🧙♂️
Seems like a pretty good DAW. Great video and beat :)
Thanks ;)
Luna is awesome! their minimoog plugin is amazing
Sounds good! I updated Luna to the newest version yesterday. I am going to get into it over the weekend!
Dope stuff man, would love to see UA develop a maschine template and integration. Can you do a part 2 using maschine?
Fricken awesome dude.
Reason has that time wrap for ages
Luna is excellent
that “warping” fuction also exists in logic, it’s called “flex time”

Warping in Logic is not that great.
Ryan Meursing agreed

The most passive aggressive comment ever. I hope that wasn’t coming from a Waves user!

nice beat.
Thank you! Pretty happy with this one :)
Interesting software, thanks for sharing. By the way, what software do you use to capture your screen? Cheers
Nice track!
I like where Luna is going except that it runs off their interfaces.
Bezo winZ that makes it better. Look at Apple and Logic Pro

Sweet beat. interested how good is to warp stuff.

hey accurate, whats up with the monitors stack one on top of another?
Haha! I knew someone would notice :)
Since I’m now completely deaf on one ear... This weird looking setup just makes more sense :)
@Accurate Beats I hope it will be reversible.
I am one of those people that does want two hour videos of you making a song.
Good to know :)

MPC
Wasn't there supposed to be a video about Maschine+ Q&A?
Luna is nice, but only for UAD users, so... :)
Yeah, its coming. I just need to edit the livestream I did yesterday to keep the video on point. I went on for 2 hours :P
@@AccurateBeats Yeah, I saw it. I added it to "watch later" and was surprised I couldn't find it today in the morning :) Looking forward to watch it!
It now runs native, no need for UA gear.
What camera and mic do you use? I'm looking to setup a youtube channel
I made a video about my camera/ live streaming setup not too long ago :)
Canon M6mkii and m50
I hope they add in a lead in metronome
Nic3 1n3
How to do snare rolls man
Loved the beat, but the rest is ableton live with a different name.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
but free.
@@wildbird78 *if you have a Mac, and if you have a $900+ interface

7:21 ..... i want this piano skills
this sounds like a cross of pretty lights and dj shadow
oh, dont have anything from them, so no free daw for timewarping, damn.
Yeah, that's one of the drawbacks I guess :(
It’s runs native on macs now. And still free
