Hello dear EBM! I learned a lot from this channel!! It would be unfair not to say thank you for all the information that helped me understand the DV lottery and my preparations for the interview. I was yesterday March 30, 2023 at the US Embassy in Kinshasa for my interview / DV2023. I didn't even do a minute in front of the consular officer. After 5 short questions, the lady said to me : “Congratulations, I grant you your visa and good luck in the USA”. My passport remained at the embassy for the rest of the process. It was a quick and simple interview.

Yes its true its takes only two or three menuties of interview because my gym friends had these type of interview he is selected for diversity visa of USA and he tode me like that its not hard interview its so easy and now he is in amirica he applied from Afghanistan.
For my student visa, all they asked me was where I was going to study and my name and that was it 😅 I thought they would ask if I'd return but nope. I guess it depends...

You cant come to the USA. You cant be allowed to come to be homeless. You have to find a host or rent apartment. You must indicate the address where to stay in the visa form. Without the address you cant complete and submit the visa form, DS260

Do you have to go back to your country, and are you still free to move from UAE to Ghana without interfering with these processes?
