Alan Alda is a treasure! I grew up watching him on mash, and I went to the same high school he did: Archbishop Stepinac in White Plains, NY. He is such an amazing guy! He visited our school once a year and donated tons to help kids like me who came fromworking class families. MASH itself was an amazing show! Those characters on the show, and I know it sounds weird, but always helped me pull through the toughest years of my life after I came back from Afghanistan and suffered from PTSD.
Alan Alda is the only person to question what Iceland has to do with the question for the big cash prize. They had a great time together and were very funny. Thank you.
As a New Jersey native(thus I follow Philadelphia PA sports - no, not that much), Craig's remarks about the Eagles were actually on point. In general still on point. :(
@@usnaviartstudio1791 im looking for a new series to watch. Since your demanding I do. I see no other choice but to comply. You have simply left me with no choice
@@usnaviartstudio1791 so ive just finished watching 13 episodes of this MASH and i think im hooked. thank you for demanding i see it. he looks so young. it was kind of hard to get my head around at the beginning.
I remember Jamie Farr in an interview talking about Alan Alda. He said Alda was pushy, arrogant, and impossible to work with. The only thing he “exuded” was his own self-centeredness. Keep it real. Truth.
@@micheller6804 Isn’t this puff piece just that also? One promotional opinion likely paid for by his publicist? Alda is a very far left wing advocate, a radical socialist. This is obvious from his many interviews and paid “public speaking” appearances. He is quite deluded and those who advocate through tunnel vision are likely the same.
Ferguson was lucky, the woke masses did not pick up on him when he mentioned chimpanzee and kept saying about the monkey right after the guest gave member of audience a hug.

The JayLeno Fly His 70s show M*A*S*H was great. I came across it's reruns 4 or 5 years back. It is really funny even now.

Dr. Spectre Hey Stepinac, Sleepy Hollow here. Nice story, I had no idea.
Brilliant, brilliant man...
❤❤❤
Alan Alda is a gem. The world will truly be a sad place once he is gone.

MASH is the best tv program of all time of any genre
I literally just told my friend who is watching the show for the 1st time exactly this! It's on right now and I have a mash tattoo. I'm an addict 😂
Not only a good actor but his instincts and determination to make MASH a quality product was key.
Always been a huge fan of Alan Alda’s.
Dear God thanks for posting this! I truly do wish you can find the other 3. Mr Alda is on of the greatest American actors of all time!
I rly hope so too! Man, I adore the little I've seen of him!
The JayLeno Fly mash is perhaps one of the greatest sitcoms of all
Agreed
I love his laugh!
He s such a sweetheart.
Agreed
17:09 is the best question Craig's been asked on the show
Mash is absolutely timeless. Alan alda was mash but my personal favourite character is radar.
That 2nd visit is especially hilarious.
the great alan alda and the great craig ferguson
They have very similar personalities. Alan Alda was my first hyperfixation as a snarky, charming man. Craig was my second!
M*A*S*H without the laugh track is Art.
We had Mash with the canned laughter in New Zealand.
I'll always know him as Senator Arnold Vinnick
Horace & Pete is amazing.
my god! What a peculiar & fantastic show!
I recommend Wanderlust, a great comedy movie.
Horace and Pete made me cry a lot.
15:26 killed me :-)
09:01 - woah :'(

The Eagles are good now! Philly sports has progressed since your post. The Flyers are still pretty bad though.
1st chimp in space was Ham...
Funny, Alan Alda would bring him up :D
Craig really did lose his accent a little
8:00 this comment aged well. 😂
I don't know what MASH is but I know him from the West Wing. He is Amazing in it.
Omg you have to see it. It is on Hulu...and I demand you see it!

Why don't you show the clips? Is there a legal reason?
it's really amazing just how bad early late late craig ferguson was, in comparison to how he became himself so freely and openly in the end

It's possible he Alda is all of those things. But I wouldn't take a single opinion from someone I've never met as gospel.

The Eagles won. IJS
Book. Lol
It's weird seeing talk show hosts at the beginning. They seem to enjoy it more at first. :(
@8:00 - 'Americans dont hurt each other over political differences' Boy, this didnt age well
