Hey JayLeno Fly. I just wanted to thank you for posting all these videos. I love watching Craig and you are so good at finding, editing and posting his stuff. I thank you muchly for all the hard work you put into these so that myself and others can enjoy them.
Their conversation at Live Talks is so funny and lovely to watch. They have so much fun together, and to see them making each other giggle still is just lovely.
You know I see these JayLenoFly videos that interest me in my youtube feed, and say I don't have 59 mins to watch - so I'll watch a few minutes and catch the rest later. Then the content is SO good :D and funny that I find myself lmao and captivated and bang! 59 mins just went by! Thank you for posting - Eric really "flows" with Craig well - they appear to maybe have a deep friendship, idk. But this is a great video and proves to myself that Craig was NOT just the best with the ladies, but with all his guests.
At the last, when Craig sai that the all show is constructed by a Paython joke, he Was really surprised and honored...the best review for the Craig Ferguson show EVER
I absolutely love the whole cast of Monty Python's flying circus. I was young when it was on the air but remember it well. Thanks jayleno fly for bringing this entertainment genius back👍✌️🇺🇲
Craig…arguably the best late night host ever and I include Steve,Jack and Johnny I do miss the long form interviews that Dick Cavett did so well but I put him in a different genre with Charlie Rose. Anyway…love seeing the great Craig clip on RUclips!!! Thanks you😊
I was just watching Monty Python;s Life of Brian when I got the Notification that The JayLenoFly has uploaded an Eric Idle compilation! Coincidence? Yes! But freaking awesome!!!
Same here, a few days ago! In fact, I was 3 or 4 feet away from Michael Palin, in the 1st of December, because he was here in Portugal, in my home town, Viseu, and I just regret not being able to simply give him a handshake... I feel that I might not have another oportunity like that and they're all such an inspiration... Idle is awesome, with his silly tunes... Long live the Pythons!
I've seen that web-series, but it's weirdly over-edited and kind of strange to be honest. His forte is the live interview because he creates magic out of thin-air by making people comfortable and being a genuinely funny guy.
I love this guy. I have the original Swedish premier poster of "Life of Brian" from 1979 above my TV. I bought it from the cinema in my town, it's one the oldest in the entire country, built in 1921, I think.
Finding these interviews, and seeing the last one two days after Terry Jones died from dementia, is incredibly poignant. Eric Idle stated it would be the last time the remaining members of Monty Python would be performing together. They must have known then that Terry was only going to decline from then on. I`m grateful he was in good enough health to do the 45th anniversary show and made it, in some sense, to see Monty Python turn 50. I hope Eric stays in good health for a long time coming.
I saw the show at the O2. I didn't know about Jones's dementia back then but his performance felt a bit unconcentrated. Maybe he just wasn't used to performing live anymore, maybe he was already affected by the disease. But not long after the show he made it public. In my opinion they knew about it.
@@geoforn I forget where I read it but I believe it was during one of their rehearsals for the show at the O2 that the other members of Monty Python began to realize there was an issue with Terry's health. He couldn't remember lines for the skits, skits they had written and performed countless times. They surely knew it but I'm sure the progress of the disease was something none of them saw coming.
I wanna say thankee too to the JayLeno Fly, especially now under this video! These have been my go-to thing for a while now. Wonder if Ryan Reynolds is coming up soon and if he's as funny as in some other things... And oh yeah, thank you!
@9:25 ish: rat farts...i understand rats dont fart, neighbor used to pour out vessels of coke a cola in his barn, rats drink then their insides explode...that's what he claimed. 🙄
45:28 Eric Idle, writer of dozens of songs and they all sound the same. This song is a bit like Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, and then it turns into The Philosopher’s Song.
Have you seen that Idle has tears in his eyes while he starts to wear the plate? In this moment he really undertands that it is really the last interview with Craig, maybe...
that second clip, i dont know who the screamer in the audience was but i have never wanted to punch anyone square in the face so much in my life, why do americans do that
Craig Ferguson, only place i only see this bloke is online, from what i've seen just as well. That he doesn't get seen this side of the pond, I shall continue to be truly grateful.

Never watched Craig on live TV but your clips have given me a real appreciation of his talent. When you get older, you can't stay up late.
Look up The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson Archive here on YT.
same for me! I never watched late night TV but I've been binging on Craig's show and loving every minute!
8:50 absolutely killed my sides, lol!!! Thanks again for the upload - these are all amazing.
Love Eric Idle. He and John Cleese together made me laughing so hard I had stomach pains.

It's the Ferguson effect:D Np my man! Glad you like em! Also, I very much agree with that observation:)
As many have said in the comments thank you so much for putting these together. If I need to lighten my mood I always have somewhere to go :)
Brilliant!!! Two incredibly smart, funny people. Cheers.

I grew up watching Monty Python in England, I'm not sure if I've recovered. Not sure if I want to.
I grew up watching Monty Python in Slovenia. im sure i didnt . cause im 45 and still litlle.

Recovered from what? A probably great childhood.

Arnab Chakraborty he is not the messiah , he’s a very naughty boy !
Whenever I’m down I listen to “Bright Side of Life”....Brian and the boys on their cross....Brilliant Eric Idle...
Where do I VOTE for Craig to be on TV again? He was the best possible intervewer in the last 20 years and I'm old - so REVERE my comments.
Jennifer Burwell : "Life is a dash between two dates, and I don't want to spend mine TALKING WITH CELEBRITIES!"
He has done some Web stuff with his wife. Check out his interview with Neil deGrasse Tyson.

@@jenbcamping long story short, you can't vote him back on, because it was his choice to leave...
Eric Idle likes The Mighty Boosh! That's awesome
That blows my mind and makes me so happy. Is there a time stamp on that?

its a collectors item for sure, try selling that to the museum. You'll get both paid and do something nice.

Two of my favorite people ever.
Great guest! Eric's got a great voice!!
For an Idle, he's pretty dynamic.
Nothing idle about him
"Oi Moyt bee bloind, but oyve gut a cute earing!" -Blind Pew.
Just BRILLIANT!
Eric always looks on the bright side of life .....
Still enjoying this in ‘22 - it’s a travesty indeed Eric doesn’t at the very least have an OBE. Truly ridiculous.
Lovely. Thanks.
Missed the perfect cue for "And now for something completely different"
"It's for other women." Truer words have never ever been spoken. Craig knows, man. He knows.

Craig was the best! He needs to come back and replace these wannabe comedians...
"The Minister Of Funny Walks."
jntj Ministry Of Silly Walks.
HAHAHA!!! Thanks for the correction. I knew I the title was something close to Minister.
20:00..." get you "

It seems like Craig got a lot of famous people who almost never leave the house.

Craig is good. I mean really, REALLY good. But Eric has always been a league of his own..!
....thats why they both get along so famously ......
Craig looks gorgeous with a moustache.
Like your channel name

Eric Idle is to comedy what Louis Pasteur is to chemistry.
I swear Eric looks as if he could be Alan Cumming’s father.

"Sorry I am going into a tunnel"
that second clip, i dont know who the screamer in the audience was but i have never wanted to punch anyone square in the face so much in my life, why do americans do that
Because they don't get punched square in the face. The consequences for face-punching are outrageous even when it is called for.
Anything but idle :)
run a bounce sheet thru the dryer once ,then rip it in half and zapstrap 1/2 to the left firewall and the second the other.rodents hate it,wont nest.

Never mind horse power, cow power is the future!
WTF is he wearing in that first clip?
Eric is a South paw. I never knew.
...is he the 1 that Clark Griswald keeps running over.
six out of nine? nice
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, except for pregnancies, std's, and fellonies.
This show is definitely a lost tape from the Pythons. Any good comedian would fit in.
The mustache was wrong~
OKAY BOOMER
Liztress!
Witty and hilarious, but a bit Orange Lodge, isn’t he?
Absolutely prefer the conversations that the Pythons do to the shows. The shows are noisy, extremely superficial and the hosts always try yo compete.
Is Eric a little drunk in the second interview or is that my imagination?
Carl Wolfe He does sound a bit slurry
Why does Ferguson always try to one up his guests ? Really sick of his act.
