Interesting. I have always wonder why one has done this. Maybe is more common then I realize . I have always want to connect an air compressor with direct ports into an engine. I am happy to see someone actually using compressor air. Thank you.
Why in the crazy sht does this not have a million views. I was literally just reading a reddit of 100 or so posts talking about how compressed air supercharging wouldn't work, was stupid, nobody makes it.... CAS is the coolest form of forced induction there is. I'm building a smaller system for a daily driver V6, with an onboard 3300psi pump, single tank... Just 10psi boost on demand up to 4000rpm or so...
Did u say 1400hp on a stock 6.0 ??? What type of fuel? And I would imagine with having intake temps that low you can run some sick timing. I don’t know why more people don’t do this.
Im glad someone is bringing this back i to the drag racing scene. But I'm sure they have some kind of weird rule that disqualifies your truck because of your setup....
Questions. The fuel is igniting with the oxygen in the atmospheric air correct? Doesn’t atmospheric air have only 21% oxygen? Then you’re leaving 79% on the table. What if you used pure oxygen bottles instead of atmospheric air bottles? You could utilize 100% of the mixture and potentially make 5x more power, or the same size bottle and specs could last you 5x longer
Sure. But first you might want to google how some explosives work but the key component is high levels of oxygen. 😬 ruclips.net/video/a6qGIMqDKwA/видео.htmlsi=B4GPVm0GFU4VrdEy
Sounds dangerous, judging by how he repeatedly says slowly slowly multiple times when opening valves. They've probably had a situation where too much air rushed in too fast and something happened.

That is awesome, instant boost self intercooling effect and big power.
Yes! It’s awesome!

Who makes an onboard compressor that makes 3300psi?
4500 psi pcp rifles compressors.. charged my full auto hatsan blitz many times on 12v…
irrelevant, we drag racing boss!
It's reddit lol, did you expect something Intelligent written on there?
Thanks for explaining very well detailed never knew about this. This was very interesting.

Cool technology keep it up
ok now I see the compressor, super cool!
Awesome
Have you checked your aluminum trailer frame welds for cracks lately ? How's it been holding up for you ?
Do you add oxygen Or a formula for bottles or just c02
Does your truck transition from boost, to no boost NA (diverter valve) smoothly?
Yes it’s smooth.. and it’s pretty much instant. It will make 18# boost in .18 seconds !!!

😮 no. just ..no

Nice setup. I wonder how dangerous it is. Like a crash or fire? Probably no worse than a nitrous bottle.
Sounds dangerous, judging by how he repeatedly says slowly slowly multiple times when opening valves. They've probably had a situation where too much air rushed in too fast and something happened.
I think they need to take it slow because of how cold gas gets when rapidly expanding. Dont want to freeze the valve's.
Any updates..for 2024...?

I ❤ u ,from your doter
Why only 3300 psi most all carbon bottle rate ovr 4500.? And mayb make 2 passes before refilling..
No need unless not allowed back to the pits in between rounds. Why push #'s in safety?
Just wish a set up wasnt $12,500 plus a $4500 dollar compressor
