    With Sydney barely competing outside the major champs, it's really important for the event for Dalilah (51.58) & Shamier (52.39) to get back to their best next season against Femke (52.03)!

      @@QuamfyMarc No she won't be able to compete with Femke as she's currently nowhere near her best shape unfortunately - her best 3 times ever are 51.58, 52.16 & 52.20; but her best 3 times this season are only 53.13, 53.28 & 53.84! She needs injury & Covid free winter training to be able to get back to her best next year as she turns 33 next February.

    Once again those 76cm hurdles are not supposed for any professional athletes. Rules have to be changed that's almost an insult to praise someone as the 400m hurdles specialist. Any elite 400m runner could probably made to the final in big tournament as well given them couple days of practice and skills instruction.

    • @isovideo7497
      @isovideo7497 2 года назад +3

      No - it takes years to master hurdling. Sydney started to dominate at 14 years of age, but is still improving. Femke started late (2019), and has done very well in 3 years, although she sticks to a simple 15 strides between hurdles and always leads with her left leg. Sydney now takes 14 strides between hurdles up to hurdle 7, then 15 strides after that. 14 strides means she has to alternate lead legs, which is very difficult to learn and do fast.

    Dalilah Muhammad is getting old and tired. She also become an injury and Covid-19 prone at the age of 32, 10 years older than Femke Bol, she can't get back to her 51.58 level from a year ago anymore.

    • @AllInTheGame01

      Yes she's had Covid & injuries over the last 18 months, but if she can go through winter training without any of those issues, we just might see a high 51/low 52s Dalilah once again even at 33yrs old!
