- For the final member's race of 2023, we head to TeamSport Nottingham for Santa Karts - the annual end-of-year event with a Christmassy twist. This time, it was Hot-Pursuit with the 'Santa Kart' acting as the police kart.
Qualifying was extremely close, with me taking pole position by 0.003 seconds over Kacper in P2. The race was 45 minutes, with definitely 1 pitstop, but possibly 2 (the marshals were not sure, it depended on how the batteries were doing).
The opening phase of the race was pretty close, with some great overtakes from both Kacper and myself.
After the pitstop, the rest of the race was a fantastic battle for the win. It definitely got heated and intense, with drama late on in the race! (skip to 16.15 for the late drama).

Apologies for defending mate, If I would've known I wasn't fighting for position I would've let you guys go right away. It's always hard to know what positions I'm fighting for and what positions I should be giving up after a kart swap😅. Enjoyed the battle regardless 👍
Ahh mate, it's fine! To be honest, a small part of me wondered if we were racing for position at the end of the race. It gets so confusing with the kart swap, especially for some reason with the electric karts. Nonetheless, you were extremely hard to get past so you should be proud of how well you defended 👊 always a pleasure racing you mate.

It was a grate battle I loved it, I didn’t even know that my kart had such a lead down the ramp tbh, but ur video was well wicked to watch, grate job of using the opportunity to pass me haha 😅
Hey mate! I think our battle was one of the year's highlights. It's really interesting watching the first phase from your point of view! The overtake you made on me into turn 4 was excellent. Really enjoyable battle overall

Great battle, along with great defence, I hope I race with you in some time. I’m heading into junior karts soon so I’d love to see what kind of battle I could do with my first time in a junior kart. But again, great racing.

Hey, thanks! The electric karts on Speed 4 can go anywhere between 18-25 minutes and, as the marshals tried to run the race as a one- stopper, we began to run out of battery! Lol
