I love my TRM Atom! It’s absolutely one of my most often carried edc knives. I had to special order the forest green G-10 scales (my favorite color). 👍🏻
Love my Atom, I managed to get in on the first drop I tried for, I even managed to get the Green Micarta model which was my first choice! I’d love to get my hands on a Newtron to see which I like better!
I love my TRM Atom and searched in the surge until I got some Mexican blankets for it 😍 they make me very happy. I also love their Starry Night scales and have a set of those as well.
I have literally been trying to get my hands on the Neuron 2 with the blue denim micarda scales for a while. I always seem to miss the drop dates, and I can't see myself pulling the trigger on the inflated secondary market. I do love the look of these knives, and appreciate the smaller knife makers.
Can't say enough good stuff about TRM. They are the ideal EDC knife and incredibly well made. But more than anything else they are a fantastic group of people who will go above and beyond for the customer

I have both an Atom and a Nerd. I love their micarta scales and the blades are some of the best I own. It wasn’t that hard to get them… got both through TRM drops directly. I am jonesing for a Shadow but due to multiple reasons, the manufacturing has been slower on those. Good luck getting one to anyone that dosen’t own one!
Live 5miles down the road outside of Three Rivers here in Palmer, and I can't get my hands on one of these. Keep missing drops, to late to the party etc. Fav has to be the Thunderbird. Willing to part with the hefty price tag for a relatively heavy love/hate blade. In the sense, you either think it's ugly or (as I do) find it beautiful!
Great video! I've got the Atom in flat black G10 and the Neutron 2 in red contoured G10. Both are excellent knives, but the Neutron is the one that I carry more than any other knife. It's got great action and ergonomics, and is the most practical size for my tasks.
My favorite TRM is the Nerd with the denim micarta scales. The look, feel, and weight of it with those scales reminds me of a tiny river rock. You can put that thing in your 5th pocket and never even know it’s there
I know the drawing is over, but I love my Neutron 2 so much that I wanted to comment. I have three different sets of scales. It came with flat green G10 scales, plus I have the amber ale contoured G10 scales and burgundy micarta contoured scales. I tend to swap back and forth between the two contoured scale sets, but I lean a little more toward the amber ale ones.
I think the neutron would be my favorite, and I'm actually digging what looks like red micarta you have on that one, though I would look around to see if anyone makes custom scales with a lefthanded pocket clip option

I’ve been wanting a Neutron. Living in New England my whole life and in Mass the past couple of years, it would be pretty cool to have a locally made higher end knife. Really like several of the scale options. Probably start with micarta, but the g-mascus and Mexican blanket styles are really cool too. There is supposed to be titanium scales soon too I think.
Slowing getting into edc as budget allows and would love to one day buy the atom with the cocobolo wing scales. That’s such a gorgeous quality knife that would fit my large hands. Glad to hear about them. Will start watching for their drops! Thanks for the awesome video Taylor!
Personal favorite would definitely be the Nerd. I'm a sucker for small knives, especially when they still look pretty solid. That denim micarta is pretty tasty, too!

I think I'd like Atlas the most. It's a nice and sturdy looking little thing. The blue scales (or "forest green" I guess, dunno looks blue to me) would be sick on it!

For my current edc style the neutron 2 wit Ti scales would be the perfect fit. Loved the fact you did an American made knife episode. Not saying knifes made from outside the states are bad by any means. Sometime we forget to look local.
Excellent review. TRM knives are flaming hot and almost made of unatanium. My favorite is by far the Neutron V2 with either carbon Fiber scales or Blue zebra G10 scales.

Got a neutron in a trade. A first gen with full liners. And it’s a frequent in my pocket. It’s just so slicey! Definitely would like to add the red one in on it!
I REALLY like that shadow, checks all the boxes i personally look for in a EDC knife. Definitely on my list for 2022, would love to see in titanium or with brown micarta.
I own the original Neutron and the Atom, and the Atom wears I think they’re called ocean blue micarta scales. The Atom is my favorite but I will probably try to get the Shadow if and when they make some micarta scales for it. They make exceptional knives and their customer service is outstanding.
My favorite is the neutron 2. I really like all the scales. I mostly have green handled knives so I think green scales would be awesome. Ill take that red atom though. Thanks for the content.

I own the atom with coffee bag burlap 3-D milled micarta scales and love the knife. I like to get a nerd for a secondary cary and a shadow with the ti scales, it looks incredible!

OD green looks nice, I like the atom but never held either. Sometimes I think that I’m going to like something or not like it and it all changes once I actually hold it in my paw.
Have wanted an Atom for ages , but it’s one of those knives I keeps doing the dance with , when I’ve got cash it’s sold out , when I’m strapped for cash it’s in stock or dropping , BTW blanket micarta scales are my favourite 👍
My favorite is the Atom. Had a chance to get a carbon fiber one from the website a while back but waited a bit too long. If I got one I would definitely be putting on the rainbow trout scales that they offer.
I like both the Neutron and Atom but I find that the o rings on the thumb stud are a must if you’re going to fidgety flick it open since the thumb stud edge can start to bite after awhile.
The atom is definitely the knife I would go for out of the four. If I had my a choice I would throw some blue denim micarta scales on them. Nice video. I was in the market for something in 20cv and this video made me take a second look at this brand

I have been looking at these knives since Pete reviewed them on Cedric and Ada. I would love to get my hands on a neutron with red micarta but it they really are rare as hens teeth.
I've been looking at investing in a $150-300 knife, and I can see why TRM would be an excellent choice. I think I like the Atom best for the exact opposite reason you prefer the Neutron, as I'm looking for a slightly larger blade length. They all look great tho for sure. Now to get one...maybe I win! BTW, I can totally see myself getting a Shawdow River, as I've been leaning towards a Bugout style knife. Those blue scales on the Nerd was awesome!

I think the shadow is the best looking and the locking mechanism is chefs kiss as for scales denim marcarta is probably my favorite :)
