#JeffBeck LIVE Full Concert 2017
The world has lost a great guitarist and musical genius today, heartbroken to have heard the news. RIP Jeff and thank you for all the music throughout the years 💕💕
Jeff dentro la sua chitarra aveva nascosto un'intera orchestra e più voci...un miracolo irripetibile!🌷🎵
THANK YOU PFEIZER.
He was the Best!!
Everybody has to die sometime & if we count his date of birth & the date he passed away, then Beck died at the age of 79. A good long age. Given that old age, how much longer do you really think he could play??
His passing is hence a celebration of a long rewarding & very creative life. No tears. We should all be so lucky.🤔
A guitar genius, one of the greatest Rock guitarists of all time. Mr Jeff Beck was unique in his guitar playing. Thanks for your great music. RIP Jeff ❤🙏
..The King of Strat..!...
One of the best live performances from the great Jeff Beck
Totally shocked by the news of the passing of a musical genius. RIP Jeff Beck. Art is eternal.
제프백 얼마전 돌아가신 분,그는 기타를 너무잘쳐.컨디션 좋은때는 잘쳐
Just like Mozart, Bach and Beethoven are still played centuries after their passing, the music of Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix and many other musicians of the 1960's to the present will be played, taught, learned and remembered centuries from now.
@@곡상 10th January 2023 Jeff Beck passed away…. 22 days ago.
It is shocking. Anyone who saw him on tour could see how fit and happy he looked. It’s so sudden and unexpected. Heartbreaking for all his family, friends, fellow musicians and fans ❤ RIP Jeff, a wonderful musician and human being 🙏🙏🙏🎶
Yep. It's a real bummer and a great loss.
May God bless you, rest in piece my man you were one of a kind! 😎
Потрясающие последние два альбома! Так хочется надеяться, что порадует ещё. Будь здоров Джеф!
Wow... what a show. 👏👏👏
Brilliant! Looking forward to seeing him live in October.
One of the 1st albums I bought years ago for my x-husband was Jeff Beck. Around 76/77 maybe.
YEAH JEFF YOU AND YOUR BAND ARE THE BEST LADY S VOCAL TOO YOU ARE THE LEGENDS I LIKE TO LISTEN TO YOU AND REST IN PEACE YOUR MUSIC LIVES ON
I love Jeff Beck. I can't say his collab with Bones is a good thing, though.

SEATTLE WASHINGTON,🎸🎸🎸🎸
RIP Jeff Beck. You were the most amazing guitarist of all time.
Jeff A. Beck- I listen to live at Ronnie Scott's - over and over still after so many years and still hear and see him do things I missed the last time I heard it- no one can touch this man
HR was, . And Will absolut be.
Jeff Beck has this uncanny ability to make his guitar sound like it's always on the edge, about to fall over a cliff yet he's so chilled and he makes it look so easy. Legend!
So true. Exactly what i feel
Jeff Beck has been around a long time. E be every time l hear him l love him more and more. Love the artists he plays with and what they all stand for.
He’s also been described as the Angry Guitarist. I can see it, but his style leans towards the Attack. There’s nobody like him or ever will be. I’ve got all his vinyl including The Yardbirds.
Jeff Beck live at Ronnie Scotts is the greatest DVD ever produced.
I'm sorry I never got to see him perform in person when he was as with us.
RIP Jeff!
I love the fact that Beck is timeless... Put him in any frame and he fits. Put any band around him and they make magic. No bad notes... Every note is presented on its own terms.
Just incredible. 4.5 billion years this universe has been around and we were able to share space with this genius. Figure the odds... lol

I absolutely love how when musicians are producing their greatest music, the very best of them, are SO FUCKING HUMBLE. No fancy costumes. No pyrotechnics. No videos on big screens. Just stunning talent dressed in understated T-Shirts and pants. Jeff so carefully chose such an amazing homage to GREAT up and coming musicians and older, not so well recognized musicians, and a fantastic playlist that takes a nod at almost everyone he and the others have done sessions for. I love his simple sequined wrist sweat band that points out "here, here ladies and gentleman, THIS is where the music is coming from...". He was on point, producing music and relevant - in the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000's and never ONCE sold out to the "Starmaker Machine" (to quote a Joni Mitchell lyric). He picked and chose where, when, how, and in what ways he would make music. Was offered to play with the Stones, and turned it down.......LIKE WHO DOES THAT??? He knew he would lose all his free agency and be "under Mick's thumb" if he said yes. A TRUE, PRINCIPLED, artist who was married to his music. Rest in Power Geoff. I see you my brother. Missed and loved.
Absolutely!!! I hate fireworks and crazy distractions. I want the artist
Well said.
Thank you.
You got it, his core has been, better going independant to his personal feelings.
He has married very late.
Isnt it saying something 🤔
Pyrotechnics belonged Hendrix historically! Apart from your point . 👉 😅🇺🇸 🌎 🔥
I’ve been listening to this guy since 68 and he continues to amaze me still pushin the envelope after all these years a true master keep going JEFF!!!!!!!!!FOREVER!!!!!!!!!
I was born that year and I'm a pretty top class guitarist. I used to know his guitar luthier who was pretty amazing himself but we both where in awe of Jeff, amazing talent!
Me too. I got the news at 6 am and been doing nothing but listening to him. I was lucky to have grown up with the best....
YEP , saw him 1st time in '68 also....many times since. Will b missed forever ❤😢
Jeff Beck never died. He lives on through his creations. The body passes but the spirit remains.
I am lucky to have been at that concert.
Great Master of the Stratocaster with an awesome aproach ! He almost never plays a lick or Phrase other players would play !! Simply the best and 1 out of 1 ! And he never stopped beeing what he calls naughty 😂What a man ❤
I always had the impression that JB was a very quiet, humble musician who was beyond ego and had quite a sensitivity towards music in general beyond the idiot ego trips of some guitarists. RIP, Jeff Beck...one of true greats! 🙏🙏🙏 ♐
What a shock to hear jeff has left us!
I feel the music industry and musicans will make their gutars gently " weep", a moment and RIP Jeff as take a "Long", pause and shake my head and say " So much", !
JB has about 20 tone shaping moves, mostly with his right hand, that no one else on earth can do. And he keeps it musical. And he understands the power of silence between his phrases, like a vocalist taking a breath. And unlike many of the other 'greats' he knows when to STFU. And he's gracious with the stage; he lets his band shine.
Someone needs to be teaching all the 10 year olds his whammy/volume/picking moves so the torch can be passed.
Jimi Hendrix is better.
@@theloniouscoltrane3778 AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!
@@theloniouscoltrane3778 Dude, they were both great. Saw them in person, and I know.
@@CharlieMessing But Hendrix's playing wasn't hours of the same boring mediocre monotony. I respect JB had talent as well as a reputation as if he was some Rock God. But for me I find I can not waste time on hours of what he may have viwed as music but to me it seemed like playing which was going nowhere. Like he thought twiddling strings was enough. A little or some string twiddling is okay with me but not twiddle after twiddle followed by more twiddle hour after hour. Hendrix's twiddling at least went some where and took the listener some where also. Hendrix's was ground breaking. JB's was not ground breaking as we'ed heard it all before.
@@MikeGreenwood51 Well, don't know if this is a comfort, but I saw Hendrix be boring several times - he was fighting against doing the same songs the same way at every show, but his manager liked that! Beck would be the first to agree that some things didn't go so well, and that he played mistakes all the time.
Saw Jeff at Jones Beach in 1998 or 1999 can't remember. Been a huge fan of his since early 70's. He has continually evolved and at this moment, in my humble opinion, is the finest exponent of the electric guitar on this planet. Totally unique and inventive. Totally awesome. Long may he live. Others can only dream to play at this level. Don't get me wrong there are thousands out there who are technically brilliant but there is only one Jeff Beck
He gets better every decade. His songs aren't necessarily better, but his playing is always improving. Heck, he's 73! Who else is still improving at 73!?
Indeed!
As a Middle Ager Jeff lol ........ you keep Rippening ... omfg ...Man you will never quit I think the Coffin for you will be a Giant Guitar Case Engraved in Gold ... May you live in on forever, Mr Sir Jeff you should be knighted ..... take care of your Health Sir Jeff See you in Heaven lol

yeah, but he still has great songs too.
Absolutely true.
This video is incredible 👏!
Crystal clear, many different angles and closeups. It sounds great 👍
Why aren't there more like this!
I feel like I'm in the room with them, at the concert.
I have seen the master many times, and am so grateful 🙏 for RUclips.
Jeff, you bring so much beauty, joy, healing and inspiration ❤
Thanks for this wonderful show.
Been following Beck since the Yardbirds era-He's the only one that kept up with the "times" and then beyond!! As a guitarist myself, I'm amazed at his fluency and incredible technique-and he is constantly re-inventing himself!!
Yes he joined the Yardbirds and made them into the most exciting group of the day
Jeff beck doesn't keep up with the times, he sets the pace
Page and Clapton wish they could play this good, let alone have his longevity and innovation... he’s even adopted EVH left hand tapping licks into his arsenal.

Came here to both mourn the passing of a musical genius AND appreciate the art he left behind. Rest in Peace, Jeff.
Best way to mourn with those who loved and appreciated him too
🙏😥💜
The guitarists, guitarist. The one and only Jeff Beck.
I'm convinced Jeff Beck is the best guitar player in Rock sphere alive today. His mastery of technology, tone, volume in his live performances are just the best I've ever seen. This is a man who's perfected his canvas (his setup) to his liking and it allows him to paint beautiful music at his whim. His expression is limitless. Bravo Jeff, never stop improving.
Reality4Peace No one I think is in Jeff's tree, I mean it's high not low, that is we can tune in you know, we should thank heaven we live in the same time as The Maestro, and how privileged we are to hear his amazing artistic constructions -Jeff, you da man!
Guthrie Govan is technically much better. Far more diverse.
I just saw him the other night on The Stars Align Tour along with Ann Wilson and Paul Rodgers...if all I had seen was his set that night...I would have been content. His performance was phenomenal...
Couldn’t agree MORE!!!!
Jeff’s a FREQUENCY & VIBRATION MASTER!!!!!
some would say “DIETY”!!!.... (ME, being one of them!!!!)
You may want to withhold on that statement till you hear Tosin Abasi. Jeff Beck is amazing, but there are many ways to express genius.
Truly a legend and we will never see his like again. No one comes close to his playing. So grateful that I saw him twice!
So true . Everyday i think exactly The same..
An opinion as whoever you ask of Therese Who knewed, him. Had The honor to perform with him or all of them he blessed as guest in all musik.. Blues, Rock, Opera, ,classic music, . Symphoni orchestras . Irish Folksongs .And whathever. . HE could jump in everywhere. And amazed Everyone when peaked their performance to remarkable levels
. . As nobody else..
😂 Are so grateful, to him. R,I,P.
Jeff was 71 when this was recorded. 71!.....wow,...hands down, the greatest ever to play. Rest in peace

God bless you Jeff and all your fans and friends around the planet. Very sad. Very sad. Another Legend has gone. Your playing never dies. In 20 years some young players will say, we want play like you Jeff.
Awesome show... All are incredible, Beck is amazing. The drummer is just outstanding.
Yes, the drummer is Jonathan Joseph and has a serious list of credentials in the r&b and jazz fusion scenes.
Absolutely.................Jeff Beck is the greatest guitarist that has ever lived.
Go to any page of any famous musician. They're all the greatest guitarist that has ever lived.
I first heard him in 1965 and on the back of the album I will never forget that a music critic described his play BACK THEN something like ' a chicken chasing a train.' He has never stopped searching for techniques and sounds. No one can play like Jeff Beck! He is a "solitary man" who has brought so much joy and a light in a dark, repititive world.
The line you refer to is off the "For Your Love" lp, where the liner writer describes Jeff's ability to get unusual sounds out of his guitar is "like a chicken chasing a steam roller". My favorite liner note about Jeff is by Yardbird Drummer Jim McCarty, on the back of the Roger the Engineer album, where he says: "It has been said that Jeff Beck is one of the leading guitarists in the country, and I'm Inclined to agree with him."
Like all young, bucks back then, Jeff had an ego, but he properly mellowed over the years, and he passed as the quintessential gentleman and musician.
Rock In Peace - Jeff, you were a best friend whom I've seen but never met. Maybe in the next life.
@@1blastman Thanks for clarifying that! I'm actually surprised I remembered to that extent as I haven't seen that in many, many years.
@@BoneyWhy I pulled out my old albums to check, thanks for giving me a good reason to play them again.
And today I heard that David Crosby passed away. Wow, the great musicians of my generation are dropping too rapidly.
RIP Jeff Beck you amazing musician and human being. You thrilled us ❤🎶🙏🙏
❤
I've wept three times at live concerts . Once at Yoshi's listening to Kenny Burrell's saxophone player (whose name I can't even remember) and twice listening to Jeff Beck playing Angel Footsteps . Nobody wrings emotions out of an electric guitar like Beck
2 week later and I'm still heartbroken!! No KISS here!! Just a truly unique irreplaceable MASTER,with the power to move you from tears to joy and pleasure. Never heard him hit a "wrong" note, since I found him back around 63 or so...Always been a cool soul...cars,guitars,girls and laughter...Rest my brother!! TY .We go on!!
RIP Jeff!!! The world will never have another like you :) Thank you for so many wonderful years :)
He just keeps getting better and better. Unbelievable
JB is the better "MUSICIAN" that the rock scene gave us since the minute one. Every thing he plays, every tune he takes and make his own version it ends been the best version in the world. He makes magic.. A giant artist..

PRIME EXAMPLE
Jeff always has a bad ass rhythm section and he is one of the best all time
To me, it is one of the best live concerts ever - and all the musicians on the stage contribute to this. Wow, what a cocktail!
Always concise, tasty, modern aggressive approach to blues. Outstanding floating melodic lines. Awesome every time I watch him and his brilliant band(s).
Everything Jeff (Jeff Beck Band) has done has always been the finest. Starting with Truth.
Started with the Yardbirds.
Exactly 👍
Brilliant band. Bass player, in fact all the musicians are amazing. Jeff is and has always been a brilliant creative artist. Thanks for the great filming and sharing on RUclips. Thanks for RUclips
No one plays like Jeff Beck because no one can.
Jeff Beck, Forever Loved, Forever Missed, Forever Remembered ❤❤
Behold the greatest rock guitar player who ever lived.
So dang good! Beck continues to outclass and outplay musicians half his age. A great musical mind who rolls with incredible players. Class act!
This concert is so good I recommend this concert to all everyone that loves Jeff Beck and and loves RUclips thank you for having this concert on here it is great
From the beginning; the Yardbirds progression of Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, and Eric Clapton became a triad of greatness, #1,#2,#3....IMO
Actually, the progression was Top Topham to Eric Clapton to Jeff Beck to Jimmy Page. Top never got the recognition he deserves, but he inspired the band to do the longer blues jams or "Rave Ups" in their early months as a band.
Great band & playing, though really sad Jeff isn't anymore among us😢..what a legend & unique cat he was!👌..may he RIP & not forgotten!🙏
Blew my head away. Tears + laughter. A wonderful performance from all.
Oh how I miss Jeff Beck my heart is broken badly so I can not image the pain his wife + family are suffering. My ❤ to you all..
If you wish to find the kind, modest + talented best musicians then follow who Beck plays along with. Tal Beckinsal bass player is a perfect example. 👵🏽🇬🇧❤
One thing I have loved about Jeff is that he has for about 40 years now has always featured female musicians. Top notch awesome musicians, and not as mere backup, but has them up front and center. Good on him.
Funny. I just said the same thing.
Yes, & most of them -- particularly in the past 15-20 years -- have been young, young enough to be his daughters ... or granddaughters. Tal Wilkenfeld was 21 when he started worling with her: check out the 2007 gig @ Ronnie Scott's jazz club [m.ruclips.net/video/AoQHnzHrqgE/видео.html&pp=2AHvBJACAQ%3D%3D] for a great example.
Are you implying that Beck has a thing for the youngies? Oh no.
@@theloniouscoltrane3778 Naw, he just liked working with good young musical talent. He was a gentleman all the way.
I loved the Loud Hailer album. Some real gems on that disk. Those 2 girls really got his creativity going. Who needs to “shred” when you’ve got the tastiest effing licks on the Planet.
i like ronda smith bass 🤹♀️
It isn't a bias: Jeff Beck is a guitar master between the masters.
Jimmy Page, Pete Townshend,Joe Satriani,Steve Vai,Eddie VanHalen,Peter Frampton,Joe Walsh,David Gilmour,Alex Lifeson,Eric Clapton,Steve Howe,Steve Lukather,Robbie Blunt, Tony Iommi,Carlos Santana,Craig Chaquico,Nils Lofgren,Steve Morse,Keith Richards,Mick Taylor, Ronnie Wood,Terje Ripdal,Patrick Simmons,Mark Knopfler,Laurie Wisefield,Joe Perry,Brian May,Joe Bonnamassa,Steve Miller,and a hundred others in this world. No puedes poner a Santana y dejar afuera a Stevie Ray Vaughan en esa lista, que nivel de novato jajaja 😂
There's Jeff and then everyone else. RIP and thank you for the music
Love Rhonda Smith. She may be my favorite Jeff Beck bass player. Saw Beck first time when I was 16 and he opened for John McLaughlin. He did 6 encores before stating, "You people need to stop. I have a plane to catch." Was hooked ever since.
He should let her sing more.
A true class act. One of the best if not the best
Abs. ripping set and love that tone-bender tone in Live in the Dark! Rest in peace Jeff the King of R&R guitar!
I just realized that I first saw Jeff live onstage 51 years ago this week. He was God then and he still is. And he's left every one of his contemporaries in the dust.
Beck was never God.. Beck is Loki.. he weaves his magic spells.. and that’s so much better
Very cool performance. Jeff Beck is awesome.
Some very talented people baking him as well.
The man can speak so many languages of guitar. A timeless treasure, Mr. Jeff Beck!
The most incredible thing about Jeff is that with each passing year he gets better, his talent is constantly growing...this is incredible
I was in a music store in Boston in 1995 when somebody came in and talked about the Santana/Jeff Beck concert they had been to the night before.
The comment that stood out for me at the time and really stands out now was about how great Jeff played for a guy in his 40s.
Un guitariste avec une présence et un sens musical inégalables, un virtuose. Paix à son âme.
This GIRL is amazing !!!! :) She does 50% of the show. This is the best band Jeff has had since Ronnie Scotts concerts...Plus Mahavishnu tune.....WOW !!!!!
'This GIRL' is Rosie Bones, daughter of well-known UK comedian Bill Oddie ('The Goodies'). And I agree, she is great. However, she also proved very divisive with those Jeff fans who are less flexible in their taste than he is. Rosie and guitarist Carmen Vandenberg - Bones UK - were enlisted by Jeff after he saw them in a club and loved their rawness, saying they reminded him of his Yardbirds days (during a retrospective concert he did some years back he had the White Stripes - Meg and Jack - join him to play Yardbirds tunes. Meg even had the band's word marque/logo on her bass drum head).
Here are Bones UK just weeks ago: ruclips.net/video/5rYVBdM8_Ks/видео.html&ab_channel=Kiansdad
Jeff just keeps evolving. My hero.
A musical mutant!
Thank you. hahaha
Here's to ya' Guv!!! ...a man who never once sinned against his talent
Thats so true. He just keeps getting better. And he was already great in the 60s when he was in the yardbirds.
Just what I was going to say...
39:40 'cause we've ended as lovers.....it's getting better every time I hear it. What will it sound like when Jeff is 125 years?!!!
Hey
And that would be . . . 2021 ?
You are so right!!! Every time it gets better. Is he the best guitar player alive?
Originally played on a Les Paul when he used a plectrum. Having retrained himself to use bare fingers, he is probably the most expressive guitar player around. Yes, this song is different and wonderful every time he plays. That woman singer needs to lose 50 pounds of weight. She can do it under a doctor’s supervision. 4 things: diet, exercise, sleep, stress= all to be managed.
Ha,Ha
This is insanely good.. rest in heaven Jeff. Thankyou for the musak. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
RIP Jeff. Can´t believe he is in heaven jamming with the angels now.
As far as I'm concerned Jeff Beck can do no wrong. Long Live Jeff Beck~!
They used to say that Clapton was "god". Beck may not be "god" but he is the guitarist's "god"-sort off. In the 60's I learned to play guitar-lead guitar by listening to him, even as early in 1967-the YARDBIRDS! He was even AHEAD of his time then!
Bill Oddie has a lot to answer for...
Jeff and Justin Bieber
Except for those purple pajamas hes wearing
For all of you blogging that Jeff Beck has just now changed from the usual stuff, You need to go back to 60's and 70's stuff, Jeff Beck was always like Frank Zappa, constantly creating new styles and trying different genres. When your name is Jeff Beck ,you play and they will listen and always in awe. 73 years old? as a guitarist of over 50 years myself at 63 , Jeff is the man.
Bagels & Cream Cheese at Cantors following each Beck and Zappa Concert at the Shrine, doing their Liquid Lights. All the Gang!
Very well put, D STR...thank you, and myself at 58, agree totally. Jeff is indeed the man.
One of the things I like most about Jeff Beck is the fact that he will always push the limits and raise expectations with his music. Much like Todd Rundgren, if you're tuning in to new JB expecting to hear old JB, you will be disappointed, but the fans have come to expect nothing less than something different.
I can't remember who said it first, but there was always a sense of "fc*k you" about the way Jeff plays ... punk a decade or more before punk was invented. If the world ever needed a kick in the 'nads, it's now, and no better man to lead the band!. Here's to hearing more from Rosie, Carmen, Rhonda, Jonathan and Jimmy .... and Jeff!
His attitude can be summed up from the one liner note on the back of Truth:"This is the sound of my guitar being sick" That impressed me so much. Pushing the limits. He's the greatest.
Not digging the hip-hop singer, but nod to Jeff for trying to keep it fresh. I do prefer when he's more out front on the guitar.
Genius. Jeff moves with the times and remains timeless.
The level of guitar playing of this planet has suddenly dropped on 10-1-2023
JUST AMAZING PERFORMANCE ... LOVE HIS SIDEMAN .... GREAT 'NEW' TUNES ... AS ALWAYS WITH JEFF BECK , AT 73 YEARS OLD, HE'S A FORMINDABLE GUITARIST .... AND HE'S AGED PRETTY WELL ...
I know some will not like this because it dont fit in with the usual JB stuff ...but lets face it he may get sick of the same old stuff ...even he needs to change with the times which frankly he does even at 73 ...still re inventing and pushing boudaries .
Changing is forever. All musician needs change from time to time. Jeff Beck is the best sample. After all, he still plays the blues.
I saw this tour in AC and enjoyed it not crazy about this album at all but i was just so happy to hear one of my favorite guitar idols!! He played freeway jam so that was cool! He's not going to be around much longer folks so go and see the old greats now!!
Jeff has had to drag me kicking and screaming all through his career, but I always eventually come around to what's next.
Agree. Exactly what i think.
Linofreek I agree with you. I don't really like this too much but as you say he needs to get influence from others as he as always done. He will always be my hero.
It takes a lot of confidence (not to mention talent) to cover Mahavshnu Orchestra, Billy Cobham, and other Fusion legends -- and he's always done that. As a side effect of this, he's introduced at least 2 new generations to their music. It also pushes his young bandmates to master insanely complex & challenging music. He's a gift to young musicians.
Love fusion. McLaughlin, Dimeola etc.
Jeff Beck is a playing living guitar LEGEND his sound is from parts unknown go Jeff go 💥🔥
Love the smile...gifted beyond measure, Mister Beck... RIP 💟

Genius speech.
I don't like every single thing Jeff does, but damn, he plays soulfully.
I've been a fan since the 60's. Jeff was the only one giving Jimi a run for his money back in the day. The Truth album dropped around the same time as Electric Ladyland. It was Jimi's third and Jeff's first album. He never gave a shit about his critics. He always continued growing and challenging himself. He's never been afraid to try new avenues. Building a band that can cover this kind of range is more than impressive. Giving credit where its due, this band rocks and Jeff is still one of the most soulful players living. Jaded listeners with their opinions are free to do their own thing. I've been playing guitar for fifty years. Haters are gonna hate. So what else is new?
Jeff and Terry Kath.
Absolutely agree - Jimi and Jeff are in their own category, and no question, JB is the best living electric guitarist, hands down. I was in the audience at one of the legendary Ronnie Lane benefit shows at Madison Square Garden, Beck, Page and Clapton all on stage at the same time. JB wiped the floor with those guys, and the thing is - THEY KNEW IT. It was painfully obvious to everyone in the room.
Truth was one of my very favorite albums! I can't believe that's been like 50 years ago. Shit! I bought truth and Muddy Waters, Electric Mud at the same time and loved them both so much! Man, those were the days!!!

I bought Truth when it came out, Great album one of the best I thought that Electric Mud was diabolical and I like Muddy Waters

Beck never stops surprising me.!! Always seeking new ways, sounds, and VERY skilled playmates. Boys and girls, doesnt matter as long as they are GREAT players. This crazy Guitarman,,,, I love him.
Unbelievable....now I am not afraid for the old age....
Ernst-Otto Oberstech NEVER GROW UP!!!!
(PICK UP A GUITAR,...... SOME “noise maker”)
you won’t have that problem!!!! LOL
I'm gonna rock my way right underground
Does Jeff Beck have a music degree or did he ever had any kind of guitar lesson from a music teacher? Or is he purely self-taught & plays by ear? There is no way that JB plays this great without knowing music theory by heart. His licks, phrases, fills and feel are amazing.
No training whatever. Just started playing in his teens & was gifted beyond anyone's wildest imagination.
His mother was a trained pianist and he said he had to practise every day for two hours. He also had an Uncle who played jazz, and an uncle who loved the same. His mother did not want him to even listen to "Pop" and forbade him from going to the cinema. However he was impressed by Lez Paul, who inspired him. We at school saw Jeff Beck when he was 14 and we were 13, and we were entranced by his presence. Cynthia Allen McLaglen
he had one lesson he said in a interview lol so he got to grips with it himself rip jeff
@@pauljones8218 He was taught the oiano my his mother who was a trained concert pianist. Those lessons were valuable and because the family was musical he would have remembered harmonies. After this if one learns even simpla playing of the guitar, as a pianist one would try to emulate the fast notes. I experiences this as I had played the piano since very young, When my mother picked up a plastic guitar, she was able to play it easily. She knew how to tune it and then straight off she was able to play simple rhythmic tunes, because she was also a Jazz pianist. I found the same experience. Playing simply was not enough, I wanted to play what I had heard, Rhythmic accompaniments were easy with practise. What is more difficult are runs and practice is essential. One has to practise them like one does the piano to get them to sound right. If one loves one's instrument, this is what one does. Cynthia Allen-McLaglen
nobody sounds like JEFF BECK.
It’s been a month. Soon I’ll have to stop watching and listening and accept it. But not yet.
Honestly there needs to be an organized celebration of this man’s life and his contribution to music, musicians and the fact that we were born on the same planet in the same time.
We were Privileged.
