- Is Pakistan a safe country to travel for solo travelers? Is it safe for solo female travelers? It’s a valid question, but unfortunately there is no short answer for this. I was invited to travel around Pakistan with a group of international content creators, hosted by CPIC Global. Before meeting with the group, I head to Pakistan alone for the first few days to see it for myself, and to have my own experience firsthand. In today’s vlog, I land in Islamabad, head to my airbnb, and experience my first day solo in Islamabad, Pakistan. I am not a journalist and this is not a political commentary. I am simply showing what I see and experience through traveling Pakistan.

Yes Haley, Pakistan is a very safe country contrary to what negative impressions we have heard. I was there last January for 10 days and my experience was so amazing and a memorable one. I've been to Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Mirpur Azad Kashmir, and Nathia Gali in Murree where I first experienced a snowfall. I can't wait to go back there next year. Pakistani are hospitable and very friendly based on my own experience so I'm inviting everyone to come and visit Pakistan because they have so many places that are worth visiting.

then you can land in Islamabad first then to Lahore or Northern Mountain areas. There are also direct flights from Islamabad airport to North Gilgit baltistan airport.

In Pakistan, women don't go and eat at street food locations, because they are considered kind of cheezy. But you can find plenty of women in malls and nicer restaurants.
F11 is pretty far way from the main city centre and the population is also lower income
There are areas not fit for tourists or even local women in almost every country. It would be best to avoid such areas especially since you are unaccompanied. But Im assuming you have probably met up with the cpic people by now and are better informed. Also you are under no obligation to take selfies with people if you dont want to. No country is entirely safe and there are weirdos everywhere. If you want to explore such areas please have someone with you.Hope you got a chance to explore the more modern locations on your trip.

I'm traveling to Pakistan next week. Third time in 2 years but it will be my first time to Islamabad and Northern Pakistan. Super excited! Couple years back I traveled to Pakistan alone for a few months and LOVED it! I learned so much about myself and how to shop like a local, especially since I hadn't traveled to Pakistan in over 25 years. It's a learning experience indeed. I'm a 17 year old girl in Pakistan and I've to many places alone and I really like to travel alone and well in 2 years I never had a problem of men staring at me or drivers problem instead I find drivers very helping and kind and I really feel independent and confident she I go out alone and deal with all men and well right now I never had a bad experience at all. When I went to Pakistan with my sis and mum most of the men were looking at us whenever we went to the market or ANYWHERE
They have a staring problem because women don’t go out at all there. When I visited I even wore duputta on head and covered up fully and they still was staring like they never saw a woman before. The place is filled with perverts. They have not been taught that staring is rude.

You should come again and visit the city Lahore too. U can stay at the pearl continental hotel since the rooms are good and u should go to packages mall, mall 1 for food and DEFINITELY go to old Lahore during the day time. If u want to go around in a car u should go in a careem. Lots of love💓
U can go to coffee bean or mocha for coffee. Gaia for sushi and also there’s a rlly pretty park/picnic place called Jinnah park. U can also visit bharia town since it’s a pretty cute place
5:28 you will get many looks and stares by the local population. They are not doing this out of hatred or animosity but purely curiosity as tourists do not visit Pakistan. So it is a new experience for them, a sense of happiness because someone is visiting their country. 80% of Pakistan is actually rural resulting in the vast majority of Pakistans +200 million population residing in the rural heartlands.

The media image has improved now but not much as Pakistan is still seen in a negative way around the world. It’s sad because there are places like Hunza and Kashmir which are beautiful and show be seen by the world. I wouldn’t however compare any city in Pakistan as good as other global cities. Islamabad may be peaceful, but it is boring and offers nothing interesting. Karachi is old, broken and dirty. If anything Lahore (more urban) and Peshawar (more traditional) may be of interest to tourists.

For a country who had elected a woman as a prime minister back in 90's we unfortunately still lack more public space for women. You are absolutely right our society is predominantly men and we honestly need more women in the public spaces. I am really hopeful its gonna change in next few years, i mean there wasn't any political mobilization of women before 2017, but now since past few years women are organising Rallies/events to get things in order. Atleast right now there is a debate on Feminism and women in general, which is a good thing. I am hopeful we will get there.

Bruh in the morning all the girls were in collage and uni or in office 😉. Wherever I go in Pakistan at evening and night there are so many girls and women or mostly you can find them in markets 🤣💅🏻.

During the daytime the streets will be dominated by men. Women usually stay home or visit certain food markets. However as the evening approaches the day becomes much cooler and families, including female relatives are visible in the bustling food markets. It's purely a cultural thing which differs from nation to nation.
