- Spending 24 hours alone in Islamabad, Pakistan as a solo female traveler is not as "frightening" as it may seem, based on negative characterization in international media. Islamabad is claimed to be the second greenest capital in the world, so you would be surprised how nature centric the Islamabadi lifestyle actually is. During the weekend, Islamabad locals will go on hikes in the Marghalla Hills, spending time outdoors while visiting with family and friends. In today's vlog, I spent the day exploring the local sites of Islamabad alone.

I'm an American guy and just posted another RUclipsr's video of Pakistan on my Facebook and asked my friends "who's with me?" All I heard was crickets and eventually a couple of hard "no's." People need to get over the stigma Western media has brainwashed into us that it's a dangerous country. I really want to go. Thanks for the video, will look for more now!

actually Pakistani currency will make it easier for you to vist, because one US dollar= 160 Pakistani rupees (for example if you do the maths you can get cane of soda for about quarter dollar)
You should not visit now coz of the COVID19, everything is locked down and after the pandemic is over you should come here and try northern areas of Pakistan you will see raw natural beauty.

Islamabad is a modern, clean green orderly city. Islamabad's twin city Rawalpindi is much more busier and vibrant. Prefer Rawalpindi.

If only we could give up the animosity we gave towards each other and work together...we could be a formidable force ....culturally, financially AND militarily. But I think that is never going to happen. We have a tendency to open our hearts to OUTSIDERS but NOT to our own kith and kin. That's the tragedy I feel here . But great video....much appreciated.
